They were present in the opening of Club 2x where Lee Min Ho and Jessica Gomez filmed Cass Beer CF a month back.Kim Joon’s group T-Max performed in the club with other artist to celebrate the clubs opening.

Kim Jun will be flying solo Kim Jun, the rapper of ‘T-Max‘ and neglected F4 member, will have his first solo music program performance on ‘Mnet-M!Countdown’, May 21st. The song he will be performing that day is his solo track from the ‘F4 Special Edition’ album, ‘Emptying’. For once, the “rapper” will have the entire stage to himself.
So does this mean he will also sing Kim Jo-han’s parts for the performance or will someone be featured? Nonetheless, Kim Jun will finally get more than 20 seconds of stage time, hopefully he can handle being the center of attention.

Very similar to his role in Boys Before Flowers, Kim Joon is the one who binds the F4 together. In the drama, Joon plays Song Woo-bin who's usually uninvolved romantically but provides his friends support and a listening ear to their problems. In real life, Kim Joon also acts like a "big brother" (and in actual fact he is the oldest among the four) and shows support to his F3 friend's projects.
Kim Joon and T-MAX showed up to support Lee Min Ho in his recent Cass Beer club event and even stood on stage with Min-ho to promote a healthy responsible drinking habit. Joon also congratulated Kim Bum on his new projects and attended a fan meeting with the youngest of the F4 members.
Even with their busy schedules, F4 reunited (not so sure about Kim Hyun-joong though) to work on the Special Edition music drama. To work on this post-drama project, it was reported that Kim Joon had a hand in rounding the boys up. He personally contacted them. With that, Joon played an important role in making the special edition project a success. Since it's launch on Mnet, the music videos have been viewed by a whopping 11 million viewers.
Some might say he isn't as popular as the other three guys and thus has more free time but perhaps he's just a regular nice guy and values his friends.
Yah.. Kim Joon is so cute and cool in BOF And his smile just so sweet and adorable.. How I wish he could have more scenes or at least end up with someone..

Finally found Woo Bin Sunbae!! My second attraction of Korean F4 after Lee Min Ho..Although his role in BOF is not much but I realize that is why they are doing the 'After Story Project'. Kim Joon got more to do as Woo Bin in that project. He's like the narrator in it. Hope he will shine more..Sunbae Hwaiting

An Interview With Kim Joon
My name is: Kim Joon. Birth name Kim Hyung-joon. When I started as an actor, I changed my name a little; not a big change, but something to make it easier to remember. I grew accustomed to it right away because my T-Max bandmates always call me "Joon!"
I was born on February 2, 1984. In Boys Over Flowers, I appear in a lot of scenes with Kim Bum, and we're five years apart in age. I've always been the youngest, but all of a sudden I became the eldest, which was awkward. [Laughs ]
About T-Max, rapping, and training for a kpop music career - I recall my stage debut as a singer vividly. It was July of 2007, and the first performance was a live broadcast. I was in the middle, and the choreography started, but I was so nervous I lost my rhythm. Thinking of all the practice I'd put in till that point, I did cry a little offstage.
To become a singer, I was a trainee for about four or five years. There were lots of times when (Shin) Min-chul hyung and I rehearsed together and did guide recordings [demo recordings] for the songs written by the songwriter hyungs in the office. That experience really helped a lot. After (Park) Yoon-hwa joined, the three of us debuted about two years later as T-Max. Maybe it's because we went through tough times together, but the three of us are as close as blood brothers.
Because I don't have an optimistic personality, it's difficult for me to take charge proactively. I became a singer after going to a songwriter hyung's office and learning from him, and I auditioned for the drama on my management's encouragement. However, when I decide to do something, I think of what I have to do to achieve that.
The other members knew I had auditioned for Boys Before Flowers, but we found out about my being cast in a newspaper report. I didn't want to tell them when it wasn't confirmed, so throughout the process I didn't say anything.
I'm called an old soul a lot. I can't do this now that I'm so busy, but when I was younger I read a lot of books, and I've always been an overthinker. [Laughs]
Through writing rap lyrics myself, within the limited time and restrictions, I tend to choose words to convey as much as possible. It's also a habit of mine to pay close attention to the words and expressions I use.
My voice is low, and combined with a bit of a nasal tone, my enunciation isn't that good. But as I practiced rapping, I've learned to cover up the worst parts of my enunciation, by accentuating certain parts or emphasizing others. That kind of work as a singer also helps with acting.

Kim Hyun Joong to star in MV to Kim Joon’s new solo song Wednesday June 10, 2009 Korea Submitted by Smile. Love. Mochi
If things progress fast enough, Kim Joon together in the group T-Max will release a new album coming end-June. And in the album will be a solo song by him, as of the other T-Max members as well.
And especially for the MV of Kim Joon’s solo song, Kim Hyun Joong, who was part of the F4 group in drama Boys Over Flowers with Kim Joon, will be starring as the male lead to the it.
It has been 2 months since the drama Boys Over Flowers ended, but the F4 honor and loyalty continues in its members.
T-Max’s company said on 10th June, “T-Max will release a new album end-June to early July. And in the album, the members will have their solo songs. Kim Joon is the first member to finish his recording. Coming 12th, he will be shooting for the MV in a set in GyeongGiDo. And Kim Hyun Joong will be the male lead to the MV.”

Kim Joon going solo
Kim Joon has decided to stay a singer and release a solo song. Plans are to have his song finished by the end of June and included in T-Max's new album. This album will only contain solos from all of the members, but of course Kim Joon is getting the most attention. This is technically his official comeback as a singer because his earlier stage was more of an event for Boys Over Flowers. His company announced "T-Max will release their new album late June or early July. This is a special album that will only contain solos. Kim Joon has finished his song first and will begin filming his music video on the 12th." Furthermore, Kim Joon is appearing on television less in order to get ready for his singing activities. Guess this means no more comedy as well.

Kim Joon to take on musical
Boys Over Flowers Kim Joon will take on musical.
After receiving much popularity acting as Song WooBin in KBS hit drama Boys Over Flowers and as a member of singer group T Max, he is casted for musical titled ‘Youth’s Journey’.
‘Youth’s Journey’ is a manga remake talking about Yeong ShimEe talking about the 33 years of his growing up, and will feature songs like Lee Seung Chul’s ‘Last Concert’, Lee Moon Sae’s ‘Flying into the deep blue night’, and Hyun Ji Yeon’s ‘You in the fading memory’ etc.
After the drama Boys Over Flowers ended, Kim Joon has not only been busy promoting within Korea but also overseas. And this will be his first attempt at musical.
He is double casted as the male lead together with Lee Jin Hoon who also did the musical Singles, and Lee Jung Mi and Kim Ji Woo have been casted as the female leads.
The musical will take place from 18th till 25th July.

Kim Joon is very mature! Even in BOF he has been the mature one there with a hint of YO! I just love his character in BOF! A lot seems to hate his English hip hop phrases but I adore it! But I wish he could have more screen time!
