Here's a few news articles from today. Apparently, Charlene's salary from ad campaigns have gone up so she wants to buy another house (?) which has to be big because she's living with her mom and five dogs. or to rent out? Not sure

Yesterday Charlene Choi (Ah Sa) appeared as the "Happy Angel" for a clothing brand catwalk show event. Not only did she teach the kids how to pose on the catwalk but also taught the foreign CEO Cantonese phrases. As to Gillian Chung using botox shots to make her legs thinner, Ah Sa said she had no intentions to do this herself. "Currently I don't have the urge to do this and don't think it's necessary". (Does that mean Gillian needs to have it done?) "She is a spokesperson and has always wanted to improve the shape of her legs. I did ask her whether it was it was painful but most important is that she is happy".
During the event, the host asked her which 3 things made her most happy this year? She said "The first thing is going to Denmark to shoot an advertisement. The second is using my own name to release an album". As for the third, she stated that it was meeting her idol Clive Owen at the Shanghai Film Festival earlier. "When I saw him I couldn't believe my eyes. When we took photos together I felt very happy. My heart never felt my heart beat so fast!". The reporter asked if her heart will beat just as fast when she is with rumored boyfriend Ronald Cheng? She smiled and didn't answer the question.

Thanks for the news! I like the way Charlene responded about the Botox issue and I'm glad she's not going to use it. Both because she doesn't need it and for the danger/unsafe/unhealthy reasons.

I agree! The Bossini pictures are really cute! I love the green and the happiness from Ah Sa. I might photoshop them later, if I have time. XD I like Ah Sa's summer dress too. She looks so young and pretty. Her hair looks so ruffled and cute too. 
I'm happy that Charlene don't have the desire for botox because I'm VERY against the idea, no matter how much the media would say crap, it don't give a 'green' light to inject toxin into all parts of your body. Charlene have amazing legs and I hope she keeps it natural. Sometime I really can't believe how some artists would go to the extreme just to look beautiful. Anyways, on a happier note I seriously LOVE Charlene's outfit at the Bossini event. I like the happy theme, I feel I need to purchase some of the clothing. Charlene is really the perfect spokeperson for the ad, she was smiling the entire time.

The same thing happen in Singapore, I don't think EEG/Mani is scare that Charlene might say something wrong, it more like Charlene might say something opposite of everyone in EEG. Ever since the incident, everyone in EEG has been pushing the blame on Edison, in which is unfair, I esp. dislike how Mani has handle the situation. Becca - I agree 100% with what you said about using Botox Really glad to hear that Charlene's salary for ads is increasing! About Mani interrupting Charlene when she wanted to respond about Edison, I don't know why I didn't think of that ( Mani's getting to my head). But I definitely think that's the reason why Mani always cuts Charlene off - because Charlene doesn't despise, condone and dissaprove of Edison like Mani wants her to. Charlene doesn't have a personal vendetta against Edison, nor do I see a reason for her to have one. It's unfair to Charlene, but maybe one time when Mani isn't there, she'll finally say what's on her mind 
If not, by not allowing what she really feels to be said, that's enough for us to understand what she wants to say.

^One thing I noticed in this interview is that Charlene mentioned that she hopes - and she clarifies that this is just her personal wish - that in 2011 when it's 10 years since the beginning of Twins, they can both come out together to have a celebration with fans. The way she says it sounds like before 2011, Twins won't re-group and they'll only come out together for their 10-year anniversary? That's just the way I interpretted it.
They also ask: Any further career plans after the success of your solo album? But Charlene doesn't give a definite answer. She just talks about how she's really happy about the album's success and right now, she's just looking forward to her vacation sometime

She arrived pretty early to Singapore for the Heroic Rendezvous event so she went to sing karaoke and Singapore people really like Little Dimples - she sang it so many times. Since Singapore is JJ's own region, she hopes that she can sing Little Dimples with JJ in Singapore
They ask Charlene: Have you kept in contact with JJ? She says that they havent been able to keep in touch that much. JJ previously invited Charlene to be his guest in his Beijing concert, but she was just too busy to go so she was dissapointed.
They flat out say that JJ always gushes about Charlene, so if he decided to woo her, would she consider? haha That question was a surprise for me because I thought it was pretty clear that JJ and Charlene are just friends and there are no rumors between them. Charlene's face was so shocked, too! Charlene said that she's never thought about that. They're just friends and she finds him adorable - every time she sees him smile, she sees his dimples and he wants to squeeze his cheeks
They also flat out ask Charlene: Are you dropping the young/cute image for a more mature image? Haha Charlene looked soo surprised 
She said she never tried to go down that "yu nu" path. She's still young now, but it's been so long since she first entered the industry, so of course she's changed a lot. It's just her own personal maturity.
Q: How do you want to further challenge yourself in your acting career? Charlene said that she hopes she can try different roles/characters. In her previous films, she's filmed different roles, but they've all been around the same idea/feeling.

^The fans are so sweet in this clip (: I think the media is playing up Charlene being "lonely" without Gillian, though. Yes she's more comfortable with having Gillian by her side and Gillian is one of her best friends. But Charlene has plenty of other friends/co-workers she's always hung out with that she still does when she goes to functions, etc. Twins have always had functions, movies, ads that they've done separately before. It's just an extended break, but they still keep in touch and everything.

OMG, Mutts you are amazing, I love the translation. it must have took forever! I like Charlene's replies. Yeah, I so agree. The pics of Ah Sa with the smiley tops are so cute. They have really chosen the right & best spokesperson. You know how Ah Sa sometimes puts her hair in ponytail and her fringe is back? Well, it seems this hairstyle is really in, lately. I've seen pictures of Tavia's hair like that and Fala too. Oh I had no clue that style's really popular lately. I like that slightly "messy" look - not overdone, kind of relaxed like you didn't put too much effort into it, but you actually did? There are a bunch of articles about artists talking about Michael Jackson's death, but they're all really long so I won't copy and paste. Basically what Charlene had to say was that she was so shocked when she heard that Michael Jackson died, she couldn't believe it! She thinks it's so sad and such a pity that he died so suddenly. She has so many fond memories of watching videos of him perform on stage and in her eyes, he was truly the best male dancer and singer in the world. He contributed so much to the music world and inspired so many people, reaching a status that is unattainable by others. But he left behind a legacy - his music is immortal and everyone will remember him on stage.

EdisonlovesCharlene, Mutts and babystarr, I think you guys have hit the nail on the head. EEG and Mani in particular must be TERRIFIED Charlene will say something sensible about Edison, so they interrupt and gag her at every turn. Gasp, shock, horror! It's not like she's going to say he didn't make a mistake, everyone knows that, but she clearly doesn't think he's the devil incarnate either. She's got a good head on her shoulders and isn't rushing to condemn like everyone else does. Plus, she knew the guy very well at a point in time, that has to count for something at least.
Moving on, I love her short jean shorts, it's cute and sexy all at the same time! I really like her personal style, she knows what suits her (especially those long, long legs!). (:yeah mostly people see her in movies only because hardly any cantonese albums are even hot here. i dont rmb twins coming down for any album promotion? i've only been to the TE2 promotion, the "journey to the west" movie with Nic promotion, 2 stores opening and one where twins came down 4 years ago for our NDP celebrations. Chinese songs are our mainstream, i guess. and hollywood lol.
the enthu fans you're talking about only happens with the taiwan stars, bleahhh. not that i dont like them, but i'd like it if the fan base is bigger.

I really like this whole news article! Not only because it's in English But it's really honest, detailed and Charlene talks about everything since being discovered - all the good and bad.
The part where Charlene talks about the difference between what an actress likes and what the market craves, that was really interesting. It's a shame that that's how it works, but it's so true! Everything nowadays is about marketing and appealing to the public. But I'm sure there's a limit to what Charlene will and won't do. Like she may not necessarily like a movie, but if she understands a certain appeal to it and she'll still dedicate herself to that role and enjoy it!
I also like how she spoke about the incident - really genuine and you can tell she's upset about it, but she's able to pull some positive out of it. I really liked her answer to "So Twins will reunited for sure?" She's always so well-spoken and mature It's great that Charlene recognizes her roots - she's always so grounded - and doesn't take for granted the level of success Twins got. Even though it's all about business, her friendship and bond with Gillian really plays a business, their friendship plays a part in it all.
About the issue of papparazzi, I always find it so hypocritical when celebrities get angry or irritated at papparazzi taking their photos. But Charlene's got it right - you should be flattered and it's something you have to accept and knew you were getting into when you want to become a celebrity.
I had no clue in her spare time she stays at home and watches TV! I approve of that - relaxing and entertaining Plus, she can catch up on all the series dramas she watches. I didn't know Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind is her favorite film - I loved it too!

yeah! i realise that there isn't much canto albums/songs that singapore radio plays nor singaporeans like.
(:i guess cause mandarin is our base language.
however, on a brighter note, i love how charlene's Two Missing One mandarin version did become quite a hit.
(: oh yeah, and Little Dimples, that became quite a high radio play.
(:i remember walking to a shoe store and just browzing, and suddenly hearing Two Missing One and the people at the store (not just the owners, but even the shoppers) actually know the song.
the 2 store owner girls were singing it to themselves,
while one of the shoppers were humming to it.
another girl next to me asked her friend what song was it cause it was really nice,
and her friend replied "Ah Sa's new album!"
i was just totally caught offguard cause i never thought anyone else would actually know.

yeah my friends love Two missing one! one day one of my friends just came up to me and told me he likes this charlene song and i was pretty excited about it. then all my friends in my clique started liking that song too! i used to go to charlene functions alone (how sad, i know =(( ) but this time 2other friends came with me and another one rushed down after father's day lunch but he only reached at 4 so he missed her, what a bummer.
and the less-than-20 points made the choice of jc pop up to my parents,
which means that i have to choose between a course that i like and a college with a future.
gosh. i hate making decisions.

i think the first song my friends like was NC's duet,
