I think the topic much explains it. Who do you think is the least likable in the group that makes you want to remove him? And I'm not just talking about their singing prowess here (which all people are already aware of) but also their dancing skill, vocal range, public appeal, etc., etc.



P.S. If you don't think there's a need for one member to be removed, then, don't post here. Your opinion won't matter to me.

But on the more serious note, if ONE had to be removed...... it would Yunho. His specialty is dancing, not much on the singing side. Or maybe Jaejoong, he's kinda overrated.

Wow, post this on soompi & a war would start. Thank god this isn't soompi so I'll just say what I feel. Please don't kill me. Okay, honestly, I love the guy, but Micky. This is why. Yunho is the leader (you can't remove the leader) and he's also a really legit dancer. Xiah & Jaejoong can't be gone cause they're the ones with the flawless voices. Plus, Xiah's dancing is so freakin' good. Changmin also has an awesome voice along with pretty good dancing. I don't think Micky excels in neither dancing nor singing so if I HAD to remove someone, it would be him. But, of course, DBSK is only DBSK with 5 members. =)

Yea I agree with oh'retro. If I absolutely had to choose, I would pick Micky too.
I think out of all 5, Micky is the weakest link.
And when I first started liking DBSK, I only thought there were 4 members lol. I used to get Micky and Xiah confused as one person. Then I saw their interview and I'm like "DAMN why are there 5 people?". And I assumed Micky was the manager. haha. But now I know he's a band member. Still, I think he skills aren't up to par as Jaejoong and Xiah's.

jaejoong is a main vocal and his fanbase is way too big if u remove him u lose A LOT of fans
changmin is also a main vocal he has important part in singin high notes
xiah is the same as changmin and his dance moves are AWESOME

For me it would be JaeJoong. the guy only has his looks which keeps him a main member of the group.

I do agree micky is the weakest link if you consider live singing and dancing skills. BUT he has a beautiful voice that makes me melt, he just can't sing live. And if he's removed, dbsk can't sing accapella anymore, the only thing which makes them distinct from most boybands.

Actually, if micky is removed, I think dbsk's popularity in korea will plummet right down to the depths. Korea LOVES micky and junsu the most.

I love DBSK, and i think they wouldnt be what they are today without 5 members, but if need be...I would go with Micky too. Junsu is vocally the best IMHO, and his dancing prowess is to die for(: Yunho is what holds the group together, plus he has the dance moves. Jaejoong's fanbase is growing rapidly and he's the lead vocal. Changmin is improving vocally and dancing wise, plus he's responsible for those shrilly high notes. So by default it's Micky, unfortunately.

I'd say Yunho, though it's not anything personal.

I just find his singing considerably weaker compared to the others. Yes he's a damn good dancer but the other four are just as good.

Can't removie JJ and Xiah because they're obviously the best singers out of the group. Micky and ChangMin may not be on the same level but they have great PR and the fans just absolutely love them. I'd bet they helped drew in at least half of their current fan base.

Yunho's the only who's abit meh. He's an ok-ok singer, and he isn't as charming as the other four.

But I'd have to say though, DBSK wouldn't be DBSK without all five of them. =D

Although Yunho might not have the best voice (although I think he's improved greatly & I think he sings better than Micky, oh god, don't kill me), he seriously keeps the group in order. He's very...erm...what's that word? Level-headed? LOL. Strong, caring, charming & knows how to present himself & his group in an appealing way to the audience. He knows how to keep the group in order since we've got fail Jaejoong over there who can drop dangerous comments at any time of the day, LOL. And he's not over the top so he keeps the group grounded, which is pretty important. So, Yunho stays. Plus, he's leader & no matter how sucky his talents are, he has to stay.

And again, Jaejoong stays because that voice is heaven. He's also the public image of the group thanks to his good looks. Xiah has the voice & the dance moves. Plus, fangirls go crazy over his dorky innocent image. Changmin has a really good voice & you just can't cut the maknae. So sorry...Micky is just the weakest. And I don't think he's that good of a composer? Sorry...because it's not like DBSK's most popular hit songs are by him. He's not really like G-Dragon from Big Bang where if you cut him, the band will seriously get no where musically since he writes ALL of the songs.

Difficult topic to be considered. Hehehe... I can't imagine DBSK without exactly 5 members. I'm so used to seeing their usual standing position, so it would be so odd not to see YunHo standing at the far right or Jae Joong standing in the middle. Hahaha...

Hmm... if you ask me, currently I have a not-so-good impression on Yoo Chun. Hahaha...Well, I think I have expressed that already somewhere. I just find that recently he has not been behaving like his usual self. Sorry to say that I believe what had he done, like the incident of him snatching a fan's camera and so. Plus, he has been performing quite half-heartedly in some of the shows that DBSK attended. I don't know what has been happening to him since I rarely follow DBSK's news now. Many people retorted saying he was tired and that, but... I don't know, I've never seen that side of Yoo Chun after being a fan for so many years. He didn't act that way even when he was tired back then.

True, he wrote a lot of nice songs for DBSK, but... hmm... I guess he's a talent that has to be appreciated. However, it's not like he's the only one who could write beautiful songs. I don't think he's the weakest in performing, though. Singing wise, I would say Yun Ho is the weakest, and dancing wise, I would say it's Changmin.

Hehe I really have no idea. Like Jinny, I'm just cutting Yoo Chun because I couldn't think of good enough reasons to cut the others. Hehe...

G-DRAGON DOES NOT WRITE ALL OF BIG BANG SONGS! wow...Your bias is a little obvious. He only wrote a few, peeps. Most of them might be hit but that's because it's catchy and I heard he played with a sampler....

All of dbsk write songs, but most don't get published because of their company until recently. Most of them are published in Japan though.

And honestly, GD songs are more toward the pop idol stuff since it's catchy while DBSK stuff sound more mature. Either is still good, I think most people in here should listen to them before judging.

^ Sorry, I phrased it wrong. He doesn't write all of their songs, but he does compose a lot of Big Bang's songs. Especially their hit songs such as Lies, Last Farewell & Haru Haru. And he's always involved in their songs. If not composing, he writes raps/lyrics, arranges them or produces them.

And after seeing DBSK live this month in Beijing, I don't even want to cut Micky anymore (well, it's not like I wanted to cut him before, but if I HAD to pick...). DBSK is freakin' amazing live & you will fall in love with the members all over again.

This thread is SO pointless I just felt compelled to comment. As aforementioned: without ONE member DBSK could not be! Even if you are looking at things from a vocal standpoint. Yunho is my favorite, but I won't deny the fact that he's not the best singer. I'm sure he knows that himself- but his voice is really deep so if you were to cut him there would be no strong, and low vocal support during live and acapella performances.

Micky is not the strongest singer in the group, but please give him some credit. Yes, he goes off-key sometimes, but a good amount of the time his singing is pretty good. The guy can hit some pretty decent high notes as shown in the videos.

And it's not like he's the only member who messes up. I've heard some terrible live singing from JJ, and even Junsu.



The other four are certainly NOT as good, lol. Why do you think Yunho is always in the front during large and complicated dance numbers? It's also common knowledge that JJ and Changmin aren't the best dancers on the block. They have to practice longer than the others to get their choreography right...not to mention: have you ever seen either of them freestyle? It's noting compared to Yunho.

I actually think the group couldn't be the same without all of them there. They all offer their own little something to create the sound that they currently have. And truly, I do like all of them.

I guess though, for the sake of this thread, I'd have to say Mickey. It has nothing to do with his singing voice, nor his dancing ability. In fact, I think his voice is excellent! But for some reason, he always bothered me--maybe it's his different hairstyles, I don't know.

I pretty much agree with everything you said, except for changmin being a bad dancer. I don't know why people say he is not that great, because imo, he is good. He has improved a lot and perhaps is not as good as junsu or yunho, but he's good.

in terms of dancing, I think the worst dancer, imo, is micky, followed by jaejoong, although he has improved as well.

this thread kinda piss me off. so much for loyal fans... -.- i dont know why someone even mention changmin. junsu jaejoong and changmin are the heart mind and soul of dbsk. changmin have the most important part in acapella since only he can sing an octave up from the main vocals. whereas every member is capable of singing lead only min have the highest vocal part and widest range. he guides the member in singing and his dancin is actrually quite strong too. min isnt a free style type of dancer but his choreography are all done with power n energy not to mention precision.

yoochun and yunho are the most influential member in dbsk. -.- yoochun is most popular in korea and yunho is most popular with the ajumma fans. i disagree that yunho vocals isnt as strong as the other. i use to think that too but its really his voice that isnt as alluring. he can hit some strong notes n belt really nicely too but its really his voice that i dont find as apealing. i blame that on the anti fan spiking his drink with glue. his surgery in his throat messed part of his vocal cords up.

i dont get wtf people is comparing yoochun to gdragon. im sorry but at least yoochun is original with his composition. im kinda piss at all the rumors abt gd lately and fans comparin chun n jiyong really isnt helping. yoochun composition is amazing its incredible. i want to say those people who say his work isnt are deaf but everyone is entitle to thier own opinion. yoochun songs are in really high demands. his songs always get choosen for some type of show. not to mention jaechun single sold more than 100k. gd album full of songs sold 100k+ while jaechun sold that much with a single -.-

talking about composition jae doesnt get credit enough on this part. he truly is amazing too but some people can be so oblivious to his talent base solely on his appearance. all members of dbsk have compose or written songs before. not only are they all extremely gorgeous but they all have talent and undeniable chemistry in thier teamwork. they are all versatile. but the most important part is thier dynamic. they all contribute to the group unlike some of those idols who always have laggers with the pretty face.

I'm not a fan of Micky's vocals (he sorta sounds like he's wheezing) but his compositions are the best. I used to dislike yunho's singing but he has improved quite a bit and sometimes I get his vocals mixed up with changmin's

heck sometimes my fav. singer's (JJ) voice annoys me because I think it gets too nasally.

No one should be removed from the group because DBSK is a five member boy band and they'll forever stay that way. Anyone missing from the group isn't DBSK anymore, so I won't choose anyone to kick out. Haha, they're all adorable in their own way and they blend so well together~I like Jaejoong's cheekiness, Yunho is responsible as the leader, Changmin..haha dun want to get him angry, he hits hard, Junsu and his dolphin sounds and Micky can't be separated from his Suuu~haha!
