How can someone start working for TVB.
I know that you can be Ms. Hong Kong and stuff, but is there an acting school designed for TVB that I can sign up for?

Since you mentioned Ms. Hong Kong...I assume you are a female. From what I have heard, yes you can become a TVB artist by signing up for Ms. Hong Kong and that there is an Acting Academy for those who would want to well...act. But don't take my word for it. I think its best to try and contact TVB directly or go to their website for more information. I don't think asking this question on this site would do much help. Unless there is actually someone that works in TVB on this site. But I highly doubt that.

even if u dont win get to the at least the top 5.
and after about 4 months u would get a job in TVB

if a guy u just need to have some cute face
and agree to do any role
including the crappy ones that dont have any line

If I ever get to work in TVB, the first thing I'd do is to get rid of wong cho lam and yuen siu cheung from Super Trio and sign Ah Lo back!

There a lot of Contests that TVB hosts not only the Mr. and Mrs. HK ones. I've heard of some getting through much smaller contests.
They also hire news reporters I heard if you've had experience working at some Asian community news reporters.

Yeah pretty much is all said. Either you have to get accepted into the acting school. Win and contest that is held or sponsor? by TVB or get discovered by one of the directors.

You can get into TVB via by different entry of competitions, pagents, shows or promotion, of course the "contact" is very important and it speeds the application faster.

why would you ever want to work with TVB? lol....unless you are idol obsessed which a lot of ppl on this forum are. i'd rather work for an american tv show be it drama or comedy and that takes a lot of luck and self publicity and marketing and auditioning

If you got what they are looking for, try playing a small role as an extra and maybe you'll get noticed. The easiest and fastest way is thru connections.
