well, well, typical TVB after their successful collaboration in RB, they decide to make another series with them, I do hope this time they are paired up!

Any series with them is worth watching, so bring it on!

i thought this was shelved? i read some where, can't remember where that Lee Tin Sing felt that doing a modern series with them wouldn't work.

i wouldn't mind, i like Sheren and Wayne together, their bound to have more chemistry then what Michael Tse and Sheren had in The Family Link.

^Erm, this is in the ANCIENT thread. I think Sheren looks pretty and younger in ancient dramas so you wouldn't notice that she is actually older than Wayne.

Is this Rosy business 2 or is this completely different?!

I think it is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT STORY . I think there is impossible to link from Rosy Business to the sequel since Wayne Lai had died in that drama. So, it's make sense to produce a brand new drama.

wonder if they would go down the same path and do a family drama, i hope they do something light hearted but with soul(?!).

I know both Sheren and Wayne has comical abilities and it would be way to depressing if they had to go through the whole drama and parting again.

well RB was really great as wayne had the first role, hope they pair Wayne and Sheren togther this time they look nice togther

According to Wiki, Sheren in 43 years old whereas Wayne is actually 45 years old so Sheren is not older than Wayne!

I wonder if they'll start off as a couple or will they become enemies at first and lovers later. Looking forward to this =)

^Interesting! Cos I can remember when Sheren was rumoured with Kevin Cheng it was said she was 7 years older than him making her right now 47. Its still questionable on the year she was born!

^By looking at the first post it says the producer is Lee Tin Sing (Rosy Business, Man in Charge and Sweetness in the Salt) So there is a high possibility that this is an "ancient -ancient"

the producer lee tim sing had confirmed that a sequel will be filmed with the same actors and also the era which this is film will be pre-modern confirmed by wayne

The time frame and the setting for this new series has been changed to period drama and it was set during the war time.

Could this be as epic as War and Destiny? Watching Wayne in this time of Era is gonna be exciting to see his heroic actions in a different style!!

OMG, I love this pair after seeing them in Rosy Business. They desrve Best Actor and Actress award this year. I can't wait to see them in another ancient serie! So good chemistry!

News had revealed that Sheren was informed by TVB to film this series next month for the upcoming TVB Series Sales Presentation 2010. She said this series will be participated by all the old casts as in Rosy Business and it will film in March next year. She said,"In this series, she will become the gangster's wife. This drama was set during the war. She will not be the female leader as in Rosy Business but she will become a bad woman. This is the most challenging role that I ever filmed, so be prepared soon."

I think Ron will film this series since this series will be filmed by next year. Maybe Ron, Raymond Wong and Fala Chen will have a triangle love or something like that. Don't know and I am glad that Fala will film this drama!!!

this is only the sales presentation and the cast can change anytime.....loll maybe ron just can't film for the sales presentation since he's busy with another project....X)....or maybe it really clash with ta4...

Yes he has ta4 but pierre is also going to participate in ta4 and this so there is still a chance that ron will still be in this series and i want him to be in this series

Anyways, Wow..true Raymond and Fala are sure getting promoted a LOT lately. o-O I see them in nearly every series now! Hahahaha....it will be a totally fresh couple if they ended up!

i dont think it is a good idea to change the casting because it will give a different fell but of course the producer said that he doesnt want anyone to link this to rosy business so yeah

Fala is not in every series. She only has one series this year.
Raymond Wong came from ATV to TVB, and TVB has been giving roles which good screentime starting from WDLC.

Sheren Tang and Wayne Lai to film "Rosy Business" sequel

Following the hugh success of "Rosy Business", Wayne Lai and Sheren Tang are working on the sequel by most of the original cast called "Women's fierce and ambitious" (tentative name). The series will start filming next March. the background of the series will be the same era as "Rosy Business". Wayne and Sheren were at the TVB city filming promotion trailer for the new series. Wayne was wearing the costume looked like Chai Gau.

Sheren revealed that Kiki Sheung, Ron Ng and Suki Tsui will not be in the new series, instead, Fala Chan and Raymond Wong will be joining them. Reporter asked if there is love between them in the storyline this time. Wayne said there will be, but he doesn't know the outcome yet. Sheren said the success of "Rosy Business" was due to lack of actual love involvement between them. She said "In fact, love without even a kiss is the highest level." Wayne agreed
with her, they share the same sentiment, they will leave the viewers to have their own imaginations.

Talking about this years nomination for the TV best actress award, that Charmaone Sheh and Tavia Yeung are very strong candidate. Sheren immediately said "There are more, what about Teresa Mo in "Off Pedder"? Don't take her for granted!." This year's award ceremony is in December, but people are already speculating who would be the award winner. Sheren has been the hot favorite, but recently, Tavia and Charmaine seem to join in the race. WELL SAID. I really liked Sheren and Wayne's relationship in RB. Just because they weren't romantically involved with each other, doesn't mean they didn't love each other.

Anyways, I can't said to see this! It's a pity that Kiki, Ron and Suki can't return... I really liked them in RB =(
