For the FungYi's series, I don't really like the name, too but I am pretty sure they are probably going to change it. I mean most of TVB series changed their english title at least once. Let's hope so. Wow! I can't believe it is part 5 already! Oh, btw, in one of the TVB channel in the states, they are currently airing Twins of Brother and I'm rewatching it. Loving it again!

actually i don't mind if one of them die as long as the love story between them is good. I mean tragic love stories are very very memorable...sometimes they are even better than the ones with happy endings (which tvb sux at giving...)

We should keep the FungYi loving up, especially since it's the first page of part 5, no one wants to open a new thread and be greeted by posts cussing towards anyone :S Plus since it's not exactly related to FungYi, it's gonna get deleted in the long run...it's probably post like these that make us wonder how we lost 6 pages of posts.

But on another note, happy ending ftw. I mean FungYi fans since GF days, although I wasn't a fungyi fan until a few years back haven't been waiting for another tragic ending between FungYi.

poooh_bear - Omg, that's so true. Once I've read the news I kept stalking the wikipedia page for Detective Galileo. From what I've briefly read thus far, it sounds good. Can't wait to see FungYi in it! I'm tempted to watch the original version too just because of FungYi, haha.

It'd be cool if they sang subtheme, but heck, it's a FungYi series so I don't really mind if they don't hahah! I guess I'm mainly hyped on the "FungYi" part. Anyway, I hope there will be a bit more cases too because I'm interested in those! Love to see FungYi romantic scenes but cases sounds fun too and more enjoyable so hopefully, the romance doesn't turn out draggy like MR.

We did it! Back to Part V. haha...It literally took us (probably) less than 12 hours (since release of the cfm)to get back onto track. haha...

I highly doubt this series will be warehoused. Like mentioned, Raymond is highly favored within TVB and both Ray and Tavia have a significant amount of supporters.

I too am wondering where the kid and Kenneth will come into play. Maybe the kid will be someone involved in one of the cases - and Ray and Tavia's collaboration with him will bring them closer together...blah blah blah (such a typical TVB storyline. haha)

And I'm thinking Kenneth may either be Tavia's partner-in-crime, her superior, or raymond's lab partner - after all, those were the only characters that had a significant amount of screentime in the original version.

^I personally think he's her superior. But who knows, I haven't watched the original version yet! Oh yeah, does this FungYi series sound like "A Great Way To Care"? It kind of seems similar, Tavia is the cop and Raymond is the professor and dealing with cases using science?

Plot

sounds like kenneth is going to play that detective who "introduces" tavia to raymond, hahahaha, i hope there's a love at first sight thing like in tob...but i have a strong feeling that this time tavia will be the one who is "goo goo ga ga" over raymond since raymond's character is so "eccentric", haha, seems like he keeps his cool 24/7...the female detective in the jap version, on the other hand, seems ditsy...

OMG!OMG!OMG! I just got the news on the new series (I know I'm late) Hehe...Anyway, their characters sound wonderful but there is a lot left to our imagination. Now, I need to see what this Jap Detective series. But "a tall, handsome, brilliant but eccentric scientist" sound wonderful to me because I love me a smart handsome brilliant scientist...I don't know but that sound sexy to me...maybe it is just me! I can definitely see Tavia as a strong detective (I don't know it sounded like Yoyo to me in FH1. LOL!) In addition, I enjoy mysterious cases with a slowly developing love story as a side dish. This sound too wonderful (cross my fingers) Anyway, this will definitely be my most anticipated series so far. (Much better than typical TVB love story!)
