BIOGRAPHY

Kim Kibum was born in Seoul, South Korea but moved to Santa Monica, California, United States at the mere age of ten, where he attended middle school and Santa Monica High School. It was not until several years later when he was discovered by a talent agent from South Korea and was recommended to audition for the Starlight Casting System 2002. Kibum soon signed under SM Entertainment and became their official trainee, being trained in areas of singing, acting, dancing, and other performing talents.

Kim's first official appearance and debut was on April 21, 2004 when he appeared on a Korean television drama April Kiss. A year later in February 2005, his talent agency announced that Kim would make a second debut as a singer, being a member of the large all-boy group Super Junior. Before the group's debut Kim starred as the first male lead in Sharp 2, alongside Go Ara and fellow Super Junior member Kim Heechul. Super Junior made their official debut on November 6, 2005, in SBS's Popular Songs, performing their first single, "TWINS (Knock Out)". Kim is known for his English rapping ability in the group and remains as one of the lead rappers of Super Junior. As Kim's activities with Super Junior began to occupy most of his schedule, he was only given a small role in Marrying a Millionaire, playing the young Kim Young-hoon. However he soon starred in Rainbow Romance as the lead actor for 243 episodes along with Kim Heechul. During the fall of 2006, he reunited with Go Ara once again to star in the SBS drama Snow Flower.

Aside from acting and singing activities, Kim is seen participating in runway modelling and appearing in advertisements for KTF, C&C phone, NF Sonata, OLIVE, My Chew, Ottogi Noddle with bandmate Kim Heechul and co-star Go Ara, and Elite Uniform with his SM senior BoA. He is also seen in many other ads with fellow Rainbow Romance co-star, Ahyoomee.

Super Junior KiBum has been known to have injured his legs and will not be participating for Super Junior’s concert opening in July.

It was known that KiBum fell down while exercising on 13th June and had to receive treatment for 6 weeks. His injured left leg will also have to be in a cast.

The physician who tended to KiBum’s injuries, “It is not advisable for him to take part in the powerful dance steps for the concert, he should be careful with is injury and is advisable not to participate in the concert.”

KiBum said, “I’m so sorry to be off trouble. Even though it is a shame that I cannot take part in the concert, I’m sure the other members will present great performances in my stead. Please do look forward to Super Junior’s concert.”

Super Junior’s 2nd concert ‘The 2nd ASIA TOUR ‘SUPER SHOW Ⅱ’ will be held from 17th till 19th June in Seoul.

- OMG NO! WHY!? We were all looking forward to seeing Kibum in SS2! Unbelievable. How sad. (T_T) When will we see Kibum again? But why can't he just show up in a wheelchair? Sometimes I think they or he make up reasons for him not to participate in SuJu activities. But eh, I feel bad for Kibum. I hope he isn't feeling too much pain. Get well soon! We are still here for you Kibummie! Now that Kibum's part 3 has opened up, what now? I hope we all can still talk about him. KIBUM FIGHTING! ^^

SCUFF: i didn't mean to start the thread with such a bad news but just when i made this thread. i heard the news! so i had to put it up for us to have something to talk about Kibum. it's better than the thread being dead. XD but doesn't isn't crazy that he just had to break his leg right before SS2. there's like something pushing him not do it. Xp

LOL. and the hairstyle was like Kibum! tsk. unnie, i never thought that when you started this thread, a bad news will show up and waa~ i can't help imagine what will happen to this thread.

i've want to watch suju full house all over again too just because that's probably the only show that Kibum spoke the most english. he probably doesn't know it that well anymore... yeah the titanic with heechul. too funny. seriously i miss those couplings. haha. oh and of course EHB. =D i like it when they had those shows and Kibum was actually there. That day, Leeteuk hyung shed tears saying, "To Kibum who's in front of the tv now, your Hyungs did it", after listening, I felt like crying...
I know, at that time, I should have been standing there.
Soon, I will be with the other 12 members coming back with a new look, everyone please anticipate.

- Now this is good news! (: Aww Kibummie misses the the group but he really wants to be an actor. If that is what his heart says, I say go for it! huwaa~ i was supposed to post the "Kibum's Message on Wawa Girl Magazine-July Issue" yesterday evening.but argh~ i can't. i was busy doing school works. i can't fit my time for this. oh well. when read this, my tears started to fell down and i was so touched with what he said there. his statement, "Truthfully I wish even more to show the actor side of me to everyone, so I'm cutting down activities as a singer.", it can't get out of my mind and i was thinking the whole time if he's attempting to drop out of SJ. noo.!! that can't be. but in the end, he said that he will soon come back, ryt?

"Soon, I will be with the other 12 members coming back with a new look, everyone please anticipate." ---a friend of mine told me that it seems he wrote this before he was injured 'cause now he was injured, ryt? and it was said the he can't participate. noo.! don't lose hope kibum lovers! think positive!!!

JIN: i also went back to the video. too bad that it was deleted. and the uploader hasn't uploaded a clear video yet. oh, my favorite part in EHB? it's the erm, the part with the laughing gas! i was luaghing like crazy at that time. it was like i was also shooting. haha! though i didn't use a laughing gas for me to laugh. also, the part where kang in and kibum have to drink the water and an alcohol drink if i am not mistaken. waa~ i was amazed with kibum that he can handle drinking alcohol drink!

guys, have you seen the news here about "Kibum’s going solo? Netizens just think too much!". huwaa~ when i read the comments of people there, i was crying again. i really just can't take what they were writing and what they were thinking about kibum oppa. i know, he missed a lot of performances but we all know that he has passion for acting, ryt? why don't we support him all the way!? if we're used to see 12 members performing, that wouldn't be 13eyond your imagination. am i right? huwaa.!

SCUFF: there's so much Kibum news arising that i don't know what to believe. i kinda just want to leave it as it is that he not around and just wait till he comes back. i don't feel like listening to all the news anymore. lol. i'll support Kibum where ever he is heading. (:

AUDREY: oh i remember that ebh part when they had laughing gas. it was funny. did you get to the arrow one yet? how kibum shot the arrow, his face was priceless! i was laughing so hard for 10 minutes and kept replaying it to see his face. lol! i remember when Kibum drank the beer too. the members were teasing him saying, "he's a lil drunk right now." haha. and the underwater on ehb, where Kibum cheated his breath. lol.

ahh all this news about Kibum. i'm just like 'whatever' now. haha. eventually Kibum will be back. there's really nothing for us fans to do but waiiiit, even if it has been forever. hah. if he's going to be in beijing's ss2, that would be great. so don't cry dongseng. he'll be back soon, you'll see. ^__^

SCUFF: we can just talk about Kibum's old shows for now. have you seen that snow flower drama he was in? it's a pretty sad drama. too bad there wasn't that much part on Kibum, i pretty much fast forwarded just to see if he would be in anymore part. haha. i want to see april kiss though cause it's his first drama and he was so young. hehe.

AUDREY: alright i won't tell you anymore EHB episodes, until you finish! so hurry so we can spaz about it. hehe. well i'll talk about the first episode when they tried to eat the hottest chilli! omo, Kibum's face and ears turned really read. haha.

i do remember Kibum saying that he didn't know how to swim that well but i forgot what show cause i've watched so many of them that they're all just rambled up in my mind. but i know i've seen it, being that Kibum was my first favorite suju long ago. so i pretty much watched every variety show he was in. XD have you seen any of the old love letter show he was in? xman? aww i miss those old shows, wish they could bring it back. hehe.

i don't know when the beijing ss2 is, well i don't even know when ss2 is! lol! i'm so bad at that. i pretty much just wait till the event is so close and news come out about it. =P i wish i could be at the ss2 and i hope Kibum tries to go...

ohhh was it when Kibum went on that date with this girl when he said he couldn't swim? have you seen that show? i forgot. but i remember him going on a date with some girl the beach or something. haha.

yes, Kibum was my first favorite when i started knowing suju. he just attracted me like a magnet. lol. i used to go crazy watching him on shows. but since he was always gone, he became my 2nd or 3rd favorite. but it's ok. i still like him. ^^

wow i can't believe Kibum won't be at ss2. i guess it ok. we'll just have to wait for other stuff that he is going to do.

by the way, have you watched Attack of the Pin-Up Boys? the movie of Super Junior?

i recently heard that SJ will go to Japan for a fan meeting. i am not sure if after that they will hold a concert. and i hope kibum will go with them. many ELFs in Korea were calling out his name in SS2. i am sure many people really miss him.
