, i just deleted ALL my pictures from my camera. But when i try to take new pictures, it says that the memory stick is full. that's weird cause there's nothing in it.
do i have to buy a new memory stick? can i fix it somehow? i'm using a sony memory stick pro duo 2GB for my Sony DSC T20 camera.
i'm desperate. THANKS A BUNCH FOR YOUR HELP!!

mmm i don't use camera's so i wouldn't know whether you can do this directly from a camera but if you see it like a USB in "my computer" you can try right clicking and format.
Otherwise you'll need a multi-card reader for that specific type of memory stick.
15 AUD for the card reader specifically for your memory stick, otherwise there's one for 50 AUD which is multi-card reader.
Unless the memory stick are very pricey, i would just get a new one, otherwise -> whoosh buy these and try to format the stick and see what happens.

you probably have to reformat that...
i'm not really sure if the right click reformat will work for you. i tried to reformat once using that method but it became unusable right after. good thing my dad came to the rescue and had it reformatted with DOS which i don't really know how... it has something to do with FAT32 or something.
just reformat, double check make sure you have all the pictures from the card you want and then reformat

i took a bunch of pictures and tried to upload them via a multi-card reader.
but computer couldnt format it.
and when i put it back into my camera (sony cybershot DSC-S950) it says "reinsert memory stick".

As long as you are done with all the pictures just reformat the card

just pop your card in your computer/laptop and copy the whole folder to the laptop
when you are done, you can right click on the My Computer and the device name and click format...this happened to me and i used the camera to format the card, so if that doesn't work, you can use the camera to format your memory card.

reformatting your memory stick should work, or you can use your camera to delete all pictures.

2. start > run > compmgmt.msc > disk management ( on ur left )
