Background
Popular couple from Prince Turn to Frog (Wang Zi Bian Qing Wa) -- the second highest-rated drama in Taiwanese Entertainment. As leading actor and actress from the well liked drama, Ming Dao and Qiao En have become one the Taiwanese Entertainment's most popular couples! They are referred to as "MingEn" [明恩] by loyal fans. Taken from the phrase 日月因心 which loosely translated as whatever things happen, it's due to your heart.. (The "Ming" [明] from Ming Dao, and the "En"[恩] from Qiao En)

With undeniable strong chemistry, Ming Dao and Qiao En quickly showed their equal strong acting abilities that enhanced each other characters, making their romance on-screen seem so real and believable to many viewers. Being managed by the same Company J-Stars, it given Ming Dao & Qiao En lots of opportunity to co-operated together from making MV clips with their music groups (183 Club & 7 Flowers) or appeared in variety shows together . However with the Company strict rule, forbidden all internal relationships with its artists. The dream for Ming Dao and Qiao En becoming a reality couple was so close yet seem to be impossible.

In May 2007, MingEn once again collaborated as on-screen partners in the Sanli Summer Idol drama Ying Ye 3 + 1. This was where their chemistry burnt the scenes, and through valuable BTS clips/photos revealed Ming Dao and Qiao En were more than just friends, they are best of friends.

In November 2008, MingEn once again collaborate for the 3rd time in a china drama 守著陽光守著你 (Take Care of You, Accompanied by the Lights) which is projected tor air around end of 2009. This being MingEn’s first collaboration in a china drama has sparks much anticipation from fans worldwide.

Wow thtlam you took my ideas' great job dear and I get to post first too. I absolutely cannot wait for SBY to air. I wish we knew more news about it. I already see by the trailer alone that this is going to a great MingEn collaboration. I love the songs already too. I get weepy when I see MingEn's sweet interaction and the song's that plays in the background tugs on my heart.

I adore MingEn and have ever since the first time I saw them on screen. MingDao is my favorite actor of all time. Asian or American and Qian En is my favorite actress. They both have the same ability to act with their expressive eyes as well as their facial expressions. Their collaboration in Prince To Frog was my first MingEn drama and they won my heart. Then YingYe 3+1 wrapped my heart and mind up so that I could not concentrate on my everyday life and that has never happened to me before. I lived to watch YY weekly. Episodes 7-9 had my emotions go from laugher to tears. I was a basket case from the end of episode 7 to the 2nd part of episode 9 when Ah Jiang miraculusly opened his eyes and confessed his love to Xia Tian. Every time I see the heart rending scenes of Xia Tian sobbing for Ah Jiang not to leave her I cry my heart out right along with her. It is that real. MingEns performance is so real that they appear to be a real couple. The ratings for this drama should have been much higher. I love this drama so much that I am in the process of writing a sequel just so I can wrap up all the loose ends and give MingEn fans the ending they crave.

This on screen couple act so well together and between scenes they appear so close that many MingEn fans me included believe they might be secretly a couple. Who know's what is the truth. Are they best friends or more. I do not know but then it is fun speculating right? lol

I love everything about Ming+En. I cannot wait for collaboration #3 - Stand By You (SBY) to air. If WZBQW or Prince Turn to Frog, and Ying Ye was an indication of the power of their chemistry, this new drama should be great. I became a Ming+En fan the minute the two hit the screen - laughing when Tian Yu called the mysterious rich stranger a pervert for looking at her backside where her cargo pants had a hole showing her " froggy underwear" to ShanJun Hao/DangOh 's confession, to Tian Yu's confession to a dead 80 year old she mistook for Dang Oh! Ming and En light up the screen each time they are together. What's the secret to their awesome chemistry? That charisma and chemistry is so believeable and soo real on screen. Many casual admirers, fans of both and MingEn fans have wondered is this reel or real? Its been 5 years since Prince Turn to Frog and this speculation has not died down. I second Starrei that both Ming Dao and Qiao En has the ability to act with their eyes, they definitely won me over with Prince Turn To Frog and Ying Ye plus the off screen interactions by these two has us fans speculating for so many years already and it’s still going. . . With Ming Dao’s mention of Qiao En in his china promotions and her ‘good person’ chapter is turning the wheel

Yes 2mingenfan can you believe it’s been almost 5 years since Prince Turn To Frog and still so many speculation on MingEn, it’s not just MingEn fans imagining things but the constant mention of each other that keeps us fans believing

okay, anyway this video is abt QE's trip to paris and the WQYL crew was in QE's hotel room interviewing her. She talked about the trip, her book, her tour guide.

BUT. . .

the most interesting part was went she was showing the gifts/souveniors she bought for family and friends. [Starts at approximately 5 min]. she is flipping thru some post cards and explaining that she likes it so she bought them for herself. She stopped at a post card with a motorbike and the background of a woman in skimpy wear(no face though, just the upper part of the body). okay, i will roughly translate this small part of conversation

she held up the picture laughing and saying "Oh! This picture is very important. Guess who am i gonna give this to?"
*pause*
and says " Lin Ming Dao".
*laughs*
''yes, because i thought of him and erh, because we are good friends. So i know he likes girls who are voluptous. hahaha. or otherwise hope that he will feel warmth on the streets of France. well, anything. Anyway, this is for him when i go back."

oh well. QE mentions MD again. and the word good friends seem to surface again. Funny, how it seems that if you are good friends you don't have to point it out everytime. lol. Alrite, we know that already. Just like QE to think of him even when she's far away in France. that's wad BF are for. Best Friends i mean.

I think wow why doesn't Qiao En show gifts she was buying for let say Ethan or Blue Lan since some recent news speculated that she could have feelings for Ethan? and she's currently filming a drama with Blue there is no harm in giving a gift to your co-star but no mention of him here nor gifts for him but gift for Ming Dao, I agree with pptulip that these days Qiao En has been pointing out quite often that she's good friends with Ming Dao....hmmm I think we get it by now *wink*

but after reading the translations...i'm feeling better...

in MEP i stated that like everyone else said....this must be a promotion for MD's new series...and it's a bit overboard for us MingEn fans..although i bet that certain groups of people are rejoicing...
anyways..here's my thought...

1) QE and Md avoiding each other is impossible....MD and QE have been talking about each other nonstop..and since when did they start getting scare of rumors?? it's been five years already...they are use to it..and QE have always been talking about Md...and even when her fans are against it...like that time for the GBA..she didnt care and wanted to walk with MD...and Md...we all know that he doesnt care about rumors at all..and he's always been thinking about QE....recommending her series and everything...

2) if this was PTF2..and they wanted to continue that classic and fairy tale..they should have talked about the original cast..Sam and Joyce were two important leads also..this is not PTF2...it's just for promotion...the plot's also different...
if they talked about getting the original cast back..then i would have believed that this is PTF2...if not..then to me..it's just another collaboration between MingEn

3) PTF2 news came out when QE was already in contract with her series...she cannot break that contract and it seems like they cannot wait for her since MD is busy with so many other dramas lined up already....QE cannot accept this series due to her schedule..so it's not her not wanting to do it but that she cant....and it would have been possible if her series wasnt extended right?
too bad that our 4th collaboration was broken...*sigh*...maybe next time hehehe

and this is also great news if you look at it hehe..it means that MingEn collaborations are not over yet hehe...

i'll wait for the rest of the translations hehee..

and now another director saw their potentials and chemistry and put them together hehee...and QE is not as well know in China as MD...so it shows that MingEn is a household brand there haahaha...

hello again, MingEn fans, thank you gotmemo201 for your concern, i am fine. very busy with work, i have to hire hundred of people for my job... and could not find time to read or post until today. i am rational, and strong -willed, not fanatical like... hense, i took a break from all of this AF and MEP. I will not let anyone speak to me like that again - ever, i did so once and that's it. There are a few nice and rational ones in that thread that shall be nameless LOL - that one can have an agreement to disagree, but still listen. In MEP we very much have this. and it makes being a fan of both MD and QE a wonderful place to talk and share....i see both are still very busy career wise and i heard from some place SEPTEMBER may be the time they will air SBY??? Some one verify this very happy news.....

YEAH!!! part 5 is finaly up and off to a great start so when does SBY air. I am really tired tonite I keep having to fix my typing I am so sleepy. I will say that I feel deep down MD and QE are the very best of friends if not more than.... I also feel that once China see's MingEn in SBY they will want them to collaborate again soon. I also don't know if SBY DVD will be out in the same time when it is aired, may be it;s not, may be it has to be aired first, then come out the DVD, SIMH is like that (in our place)... It was aired first, then the DVD is everywhere here... I prefer to watch it on TV first, then buy the DVD later and watch it again, but may be at that time, will watch MingEn part only... Just like my sister, we lost count how many times she watched PTF, she even can remember the right timer (times where) of MD and QE's scenes...

Thank you for your comfort, thtlam... I'm used to the good and bad news of MingEn, so when the time and day pass, I'll feel better... May be it's fate that MingEn can't collaborate this time, just like FTILY too, we heard enough of MD being chosen as the male lead... Now, it's QE's turn... You point the right thing, dear! Ethan already has a gf and Blue also doesn't seem to get along very well with QE (lack of chemistry)... And haven't mention the LV passport holder for MD, even QE used giving him back as he gave her birthday gift as an excuse, we still can feel that she actually cares for him... About MD talking on the phone when QE is not there, in a couple of EFHL Bts I saw QE talk on the phone with someone and I think it was during the time when QE was sad but I'm not sure and I'm guessing that she's talking with you know who *wink*

Yes, we hope the one that QE is talking to is MD since we also read about her blog that she can't seem to contact "someone"...

I also seldom watch drama, especially mainland dramas, but I'll put SBY as an exception since it's MingEn, haha.... Don't worry, when SBY is aired, there will be kind hearted people who do the subbing... *wink*

They are always being connected and related to each other, if not from the news, then it's from their direct words mentioning each other... As the day passed, I'm not that upset and sad anymore, thank you so much for your comfort... Can't imagine that you didn't sleep a whole night because of this, feel so sorry for you... Hope you feel better now... As for me, because I have the chance to read it, so the contents is actually not as bad as the title... About some certain people are rejoicing about this, I wonder what will their reaction be when there is news and moreover words comes from QE's direct mouth mentioning about MD, can they accept that reality? I find QE mention MD so often lately... Wonder how can they manage to dismiss those all and pretends there is nothing like that happen while the reality is right in front their faces? No matter about that now... Just like most of you pointed out, it might be An Hui's promotion to get people's attention since the drama's plot is nothing similar to PTF???!!! Do you remember when there was news about MD as the male lead of FTILY, he can't seem to be stopped related to FTILY after that and some certain people claim that he is taking the spotlight from QE... Both of them have known that there are people who dislikes them... But that still change nothing about their relationship, QE has state out in her first book that she doesn't care whether people will like her or not because she likes MD, right? I think some certain group of people should accept this reality...

You are right, MingEn's collaboration won't just stopped because of this... It's such a waste if MingEn can't collaborate in FTILY and this new one, but everything is fated, you know, all of us were getting upset when we knew MingEn can't collaborate in FTILY, but then SBY comes... thtlam, not sure how insightful my posts are but they are what i firmly believe and i say what i feel. hopefully things that make sense and is pretty balanced LOL About SBY, i really am looking for another wonderful opportunity to see both on the TV screen, or in my case, Youtube or similar. I saw second hand, being a new fan, what happened with YingYi, when it was a pretty good drama overall. Its very popular on the Net, as we speak. So I could have imagined it to be treated better than it was. PPtulip, I was bullied as a young child, and coming in here in AF, it was like deja-vu. Not 8 yrs old anymore, and I dont like bullies..or feeling like i am being bullied. I enjoy reading about Ming+En, I love their interactions as acting partners, and I hope Stand By You will be airing in the near future. Coming into AF or MEP is my relaxing from work etc.. if it continues to be fun, not fantatical, or confrontational i will continue to join in when time permits.

Yes, MD has accepted QE whole heartedly, hahaha... It's just their denial news are getting too much recently... gotmemo, tell me honestly, do you believe they actually have no sparks at all??? About MingEn in gangster drama, I actually care more about the BTS than the actual drama... Hahaha... But of course, if the ending is sad, I'll be upset for days too... I don't know, it has been rumoured that MD will be in FTILY, then come SBY, after that, there is news from SETTV about MD and QE will have separate projects which MD had declined it, instead he took XFYDQ and it was also rumoured that QE is chosen as the female lead at first??? MD: It won't ah. During the press conference for the television series a while ago, I even joked about me and Xiao Tian, which one is more handsome. It's all good, entertaining everybody.

MD: I sincerely think that it's all okay (it's all good). It's not like it is because Xiao Tian is very popular, therefore I don't have any dramas to film. MD: Honestly speaking, it's okay (it's all good). Ratings are not something someone can control. A good drama wouldn't become a good drama because of a certain someone who acts in it. And it wouldn't be that it is because the ratings of the drama which I filmed isn't good, and therefore think that Mingdao's ratings are not good. I didn't just started being an actor. If you argue over every little thing in every drama, it would really be very hard for you to improve. This year is my 10th year since entering into the industry. A lot of things that I ought to encounter, I have encountered. The questions that ought to be asked toward me, have been asked. What is ought to be awkward/embarrassing, have been awkward/embarrassed. What is ought to be happy, I've been happy. A lot of things, I would think that it's Okay.

MD: Xiao Tian and Qiaoen's film crew, I went twice. I have visited the set of almost all the film crews that I know and have contact with. Sometimes when I go visit the set, they would ask me to help them act as a passer-by. This, to me, is very amusing (a lot of fun). Doesn't matter what kind of drama, I basically don't even care about what the script is about. I just think it's a lot of fun. That half-year was very leisurely (ease/relaxed). When I have nothing to do, I watch people busying themselves (who are busy), I'm very happy.

MD: I think that if this half a year, I went to film (act), there wouldn't be a big difference. Of course there are a lot of people who said, "It's a great pity you didn't act in 'FTLY'." But I think that if I acted in that drama, it's not necessarily that it would have this kind of ratings.

Reporter: You don't have that much confidence in yourself?

MD: It's not that I don't have confidence. There are a lot of factors when it comes to a drama's success. Luck/Fortune is also one of them. If in the first place it was me who acted in "FTLY", then there wouldn't be Chen Qiaoen. Because we just finished filming "Prince Turns to Frog" (I think MD or the reporter made a mistake here. I think they meant YingYe). If the company came to look for me, then there would be another girl. Qiaoen is truly very good at acting. If this drama's male and female lead is changed, will there still be this kind of situation/outcome? I think that it's not necessarily (not for certain/sure). Pairing up Xiao Tian and Qiaoen, there is another kind of relaxed/light feeling. That is something I don't have. I, myself, cannot act out relaxed/light feeling. This is the route that this drama runs/takes. There are people who say that this role suits Mingdao very well. But I think that it's not necessarily. Jet Li also didn't act in "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon". You ask him if he has any regrets? He doesn't.

MD: There's no such thing ah. Last year, Qiaoen was already set/confirmed that she has to film Sanlih's television series this year. No slot in her schedule. Which female lead that acts with me, is not up for me to decide (don't have the final say/not whoever he says it is, then it is).

It means he already knew QE's schedule exactly, what dramas, what events, and every activities of her before announced to the public... Even they are good friends, won't it be too much to remember QE's project in the future? Also, he said, he can't choose to act with whom, but if he is given the chance to choose, he'll choose QE?

Reporter: With Qiaoen like such already. Would it be very difficult to have pleasant surprises if you two work together again?

MD: I don't think it would. It's very obvious, Qiaoen have always been improving. I am also moving forward little by little. I and Qiaoen have only filmed two dramas. Every time we film together, in between, it always have to be a year or two. People would be different. There is an advantage in being familiar with each other. A lot of our perception/recognition/knowledge, does not need to be discussed all over again and does not need to be established all over again.

Reporter: You have worked with a lot of actresses. Which one do you have the most chemistry with (tacit understanding)?

MD: Of course it's Qiaoen who's relatively more chemistry (whom I have relatively more chemistry with). The years that we've known each other put in there. We've known each other for 8 years. Every female lead that has acted with me, they would all give me something new. Recently worked with in "SIMH" is Zhang Jiani. She has the energy/vitality that a 22 year old should have. In my point of view, I'm 30 [years old]. There is a difference of 7 years in the middle. She would definitely have something that I don't have. It would excite something different from me. Acting with Qiaoen, then I cannot act out things that are light/relaxed (loose & easy). Because Qiaoen, herself, is very light/relaxed (loose & easy). She can act out a lot of things that are a lot of fun (amusing). This aspect of me is not easily excited.

He understands QE in and out, not just only based on working matter... And I am shock they have known each other for 8 years already! And about him is not easily excited, but why he seems so excited when there is QE? Have her relaxed nature influenced him?

Accurately speaking, artists don't have time to manage love (relationships). Because of work, frequently have to run back and forth between two places. We would for certain get to know (become acquainted with) girls. Have ways of making friends. It might just the possibility that she renew her contract with J-star, since MD said so himself that QE's contract will expired in 2009, now, she has dramas planned in the future, so people are guessing that she actually has renewed her contract...

As an idol drama actor, Mingdao's 'lady luck/romantic or love luck" is naturally not shallow. Had drama/film scenes (rival shows) with numerous actresses. This time, in "QQASN", the actress that works with him, Wu Yaxin, is a new actress. But Mingdao seem not to show the least pity or tenderness to women. Zhao Guanxi, whom he plays in the drama, is a mighty character. A few cruel bed scenes once gave Wu Yaxin scratches/scrapes. And among all the other female stars whom he had worked with, Mingdao expresses that Li Man's figure is known for being great. "I worked with her in "Illusions of Heaven". First glance at her figure, already feel "Wow, so great" No wonder Director Zhang Yimou got her to film 'Curse of the Golden Flower' ".

But, Mingdao discloses: "Actually, Chen Qiaoen's figure is also pretty good. If she has to dress up, her score wouldn't be less compared to Li Man. Seems no news of our DYNAMIC DUO - MING+EN... how i wish SBY will start up its promotions. the last word was... September??? airing. Last mention of MingEn was by CQE at the Typhoon Telethon, where MD donated another half a million dollars to give to charity and with it buy a crystal statue. Both donated generously for a combined 1.5 million dollars.

I'm really happy that he and QE still keep in contact even though their far apart.... MD is so busy filming, he must be really tired but, i know whenever QE call he will always have time for her hehe! I love the fact that their so close on or off screen... I'm hoping that they will film more drama together soon! Mingdao Helps Good Friend Clarify Rumors of Quitting the Cast; Impossible to be Lovers with Qiaoen

The drama "Prince Turns to Frog" created ratings phenomenon/miracle for Taiwanese idol dramas. It had also sent Mingdao to the spot/status of Taiwanese idol drama No. 1 brother. The perfect collaboration with Chen Qiaoen even made this pair of onscreen lovers receive much attention both within the drama and outside. Before "XFYDQ" began filming, there once were rumors that Chen Qiaoen was to be the No. 1 female lead. When it officially began to film, however, it was changed to "Yan Nulang" (actresses who had filmed dramas based on novels by Hai Yan), Niu Meng Meng. To this change, people guessed that it was because the two have too much rumors. For the sake of avoiding suspicion/rumors, that is why they intentionally did not work together again. To this statement, Mingdao gave a denial, "Qiaoen is filming in Taiwan. Basically, don't have free time to come to the Mainland. Does not fit up with the running schedule here." Asked about whether or not the two have chances to work together again, Mingdao said, "Of course there is. Mainly, we have to read the script. If we bump into a script that we both like, and if it just so happens that we both have slots in our schedule, of course we will work together again. Because we both are people with personal character (individuality/personality)." "But, actually, to be able to work together or not, it is not up to us to decide. Since working together in "Prince Turns to Frog", Mingdao and Chen Qiaoen's feelings/relationship development have always been the focus of the media's attention. In private, the two are extremely good friends. This, then, even more leads to everybody guessing, whether or not the two's relationship/feelings will have a further development (one more step forward). Regarding this, Mingdao and Chen Qiaoen have also many times denied it in public (occasions). Chen Qiaoen even expresses that "Mingdao would absolutely not like a person like me." "XFYDQ" is not "PTF's" Sequel

Before the start of filming, this drama was once called "Prince Turns to Frog 2". Regarding this title, Mingdao said: "I hope that everybody would not treat it as a sequel. This is a whole new drama. The characters, the story, they are all completely new. If you must relate it with "PTF", then it is that both dramas' main male lead both experienced a process of 'facing himself'. Slowly unloading/taking off his battle arms (disarming himself), revealing the things that are his most innate character (intrinsic quality/his essence/nature)." And regarding the drama's title "XingFuYiDingQiang", Mingdao also expressed his understanding of happiness. And that is, "take things philosophically" (take things easily/think optimistically). As to his prospects for the ratings, Mingdao is very confident, "Is it capable of beating/surpassing 'PTF', I don't know. But this drama would definitely not disappoint you! Because it is really very good!"

According to reports, 20 million was invested in "XFYDQ". Predicted to film 30 episodes. Going to be exclusively aired by Anhui Television at the end of the year.

Some elaboration, the actual scene in the drama is started at 3.39, so the previous one while MingEn were playing are the BTS... I can see that MD actually trying to kiss QE... She is not your type, MD???!!! There are some suspicious words in the clip...

Hehe thanks for the news yes at MEP there was also a mentioned of QE’s break-up with ykw but seems like everyone’s being sort of cautious of this….for me I believe it’s true and of course MD is there for her that’s why these days she is looking more happy and seems to be getting along much better with the filming crew…looks like MD is her remedy *wink*
Haha in MD’s interview how he says if he has a gf to have her visit him on set but like you pointed out he visited QE on set multiple times isn’t that a concidence or is that saying MD as the bf will also go visit his gf on set as well *wink*

Well, I hope MingEn will end up together... MD said he wants to get married, but seems that QE won't settle down till she get awards... This is not easy... May be we have to ready accepting that they are only good friends forever...

I agree there are so many unreliable news of them recently like the loads of rumors with Ming Dao with some girl/ his manager and Qiao En with her co-stars, it seems like whenever they do something like a new drama rumors flies around that are completely absurd with no hard evidence
Now with MingEn rumors related that’s different I know that BTS of SBY was like heaven I keep grinning all night long haha and I can see why until this day no one believes that MingEn is not an item …just look at that BTS clip MD’s hand was hugging her, moving to her waist and they even laughed and did a hug falling back on the set : is this how friends act? Oh don’t tell me I’ve long since accepted how old fashion I am *wink*

I also think that I'm old fashioned... But we also can't put our hope too high, afraid that we'll suffer from long term sadness if one day they don't end up together... Yes, the news of QE broke up with YKW has confirmed I guess...



Just don't know why, I start to think what to do if MingEn don't end up together in the future? What can we do to prepare our heart from horrible disappointment? I don't dare to put too much hope, afraid I'll be disappointed if the outcome don't come out as we've hope... They keep denying, but their actions actually don't match with their words... I really don't know what to be trusted now...

Ahhh pptulip I hope your sadness will go away *jumps around , cartwheels and lands on my back * trying to cheer her up ……thtlam - now where is gotmemo? okay all *serious mood* now…*aheeeh* you’re right we shouldn’t put to much hopes on MingEn being a ‘real’ couple or things can get really ugly for us if someday they end up with other people *Sigh* but if we think about it at least we know 100% that MD and QE are the best of friends who support each other through thick and thin….that to us already shows more love then some real couples do in a lifetime, even if someday these two do not end up together I hope we will all be able to accept that they hold a special place in each other’s heart and do love each other in a different way, for now I’m just happy to be able to see them together once in a while doing some event together….yes we probably have to wait months before we see them together but whenever that opportunity comes and MingEn are together there is a different light in that moment….they are lighted up by each other’s presence whether it’s atrraction/love/friendship or whatever we know they mean so much to each other…I hope I’m cheering you up but it sounds even more depressing ….I hope we get more BTS and SBY promotions to cheer us all up

This is the best way to survive at this kind of moment, when the denial news of them is everywhere... We have also been through thick and thin from PTF era till now... Yes, thtlam, you've successfully cheer me up, dear! Everything is out of our control, we'll just like before, celebrate if there is good news and cry together if there is a bad one... Do our best for today and don't worry much about what will happen tomorrow, everything is fated, at least, I still have all of you to cry with me when the outcome is not as we've wished... I just love BTS in every drama of MD and QE their so cute together, very playful like their teasing us fans!!! hahaha, we can't get enough of them and MingEn can't stop flirting when around eachother!! Since, QE broke up with Micheal MD now has a chance lolz... after i heard this news even though don't know how reliable it is but i'm still happy *innocent* because MD will now have more of everything to capture QE heart if that is no one else have!!!

aww nhaykay I don't know why you cannot open the BTS of SBY...I've just checked and was able to load it on my computer, maybe you can try it again it might work now since sometimes I have to load more than once before the link works it's a must watch since it's the BTS with MingEn kiss plus they were playing around quite alot hehe

as for SBY haven't heard anything about the airing date so I'm not sure able airing in September....maybe we'll have to wait a bit more since both MD and QE haven't indicated anything about SBY promotions

MingChen, you are so I don't know it is wise to be happy or not regarding QE's break up with her Aussie bf... We are happy because we are MingEn fans and since we've seen that there is nothing in their relationship, so this news is just a conformation for our speculation... But, QE might be sad because her relationship with this Michael guy has ended, not sure about this though.. Anyway, if MingEn are fated to be with each other, then they'll be together at last!

thtlam, everything you said is true... Till now, there is barely news on them... QE will have China drama after EFHL and I've read in MEP that MD's drama XFYDQ will be exclusively aired in An Hui in the end of this year, An Hui is the same like Hu Nan, they'll held tons of promotions, so my only question is, when will SBY being aired? And when will them have the time to do promotion??? There is no further confirmation till now... Yes, at least they've talked about the donation for Morakot typhoon recently and may be they've talked to each other often through phone, only we don't know since no one knows about it except the two of them...

I don't dare to put much hope for when SBY will be aired, there is no conformation and seems that MingEn's schedule can't fit to do the promotion? Don't know though... There is barely news on MingEn recently, rather quiet... Hopefully, there will be good news soon...

hi mingchen, don't be sad. ming dao and qiao en are and forever will be friends, at the very least, and as far as collaborations, they may not be the leads in a drama, but could always be in the same drama in differing parts. that way, they will be challenged as artists, but still be connected. Of course, as MingEn fans we would always want another collaboration...hahah I am looking forward to SBY. Have you seen the eng sub trailer or any trailers of SBY???

Since this thread is called by some to be in "fantasyland". I guess I prefer to be in "fantasyland" haha. I am sooo happy about all the BTS coming out from the Stand By You filming. This vidicates MingEn general opinion that where there is smoke, there is fire, and there definitely was something happening or happened back during this drama filmining. See MD and QE always tell us by their actions......i'm feeling much better but it has been already 2 weeks, so very slooow to recover...so frustrating.



HI THTLAM, still not 100%, but I love MingEn, so i cannot stay away for too long. haha. Sometimes with MingEn, better to say no news, is good news, than all the gossipy news about the 2 being with others. the last major news was QE broke up with her Aussie boyfriend, and this was conveyed thru SDR.. which i found strange... MD again dating a stranger or his manager...another thing that does not seem to ring true. I'm waiting for SBY and SBY promo events. Take care and post again soon!

hi mengen29, it definitely is news that QE "brokeup " with Michael (aka YKW ) but i dont exactly believe it is due to not wanting to get married. they have been together supposedly for 3-4yrs. With her busy career, there really wasnt much in common anymore, other than perhaps a bit of physical attraction, but they could never work that out, since she's constantly busy. If you found MR Right. You would be married already. Unless marriage isnt a priority. NOt too many females will go for the 10 yr girlfriend status. Most women want marriage and family after a few years of dating...so the spoiler question is where's MD in all this? will he be the one to change QE about marriage and family??


hi pptulip, i hope you wont be sad anymore. bigfan8, white all of them have said very wise words to you, so i dont think i will need to add to all of this except to say...no wedding? no ring? no engagements? LOL all bets are off!!! There is real hope still,and sometimes hope is all you go on. As a fan you already know this is MingEn fantasy, the icing on this beautiful cake is if one day, the amount of happiness they bring to us fans is realized for themselves. Until then, look forward to a great performance from them in SBY!!
