Its great to see Flora back! But I'm not a fan of Joe Ma....Is this a fresh pairing?

The article reveals that Flora's character was a troubled teen that was disatisfied with her father Shek Sau who was a player with many women. Therefore she ran away from home and became a really independent person. As for Joe Ma, he will play a cop! Flora and Joe will be enemies at first but will eventually fall in love. Also, the filming will start in August.

I dunno but the storyline doesn't sound too interesting and it seems to be too ordinary. Just looking forward to it on behalf of Flora!

Flora Chan returns to TVB after 6 years absence

TVB new upcoming series "Searching For Lasting Love" had its costume fitting yesterday. Flora Chan returned to the screen after 6 years absence. She is working with Joe Ma again following "Triumph In The Sky" and she is playing the role of an ex "young and dangerous" girl in the series. Mother Flora explained that she comes back to work for TVB, apart from interest, she also wants her one year old daughter to learn to be dependent.

TVB producer and Joe Ma gave Flora a bouquet of flowers and a TV Buddy doll as a welcome gift. Flora said her daughter is over one now and she is very cute and mature for her age. She has been looking after her daughter 24 hours a day, now she wants her daughter to be less dependent on her, that is why she agreed to take part in this new series. The role she plays is new to her, Flora finds that refreshing because in the past, she always acted as a professional. Talking about her fees for the part, Flora said she doesn't know, she has to ask her manager or the producer. Reporter asked what her expectations are now that she has returned to work? Flora replied that she doesn't think about it, she can't predict what is going to happen next. The reporter went on to ask if she wants another baby? Flora said "I do, but I may not be able to have another one, I will try my best. But it will have to be next year because I need a rest after finishing this TV series."

Absolutely ecstatic that Flora is back filming!!! She was the one that made me interested in HK entertainment

But the series itself (so far) doesn't sound that appealing, from storyline to the rest of the cast. The Flora-Joe-Sharon triangle doesn't sound too good..But if Flora chose this as comeback series, hopefully I'm wrong! Not really liking Flora's hair...

Flora was the one that got me interested in HK entertainment as well! She is just an superb actress that no one can replace! I'm glad that she decided to be back with TVB! I really wish that she didn't leave 6 years ago.. I wonder what she would be like now if she stayed in TVB..
I'm not digging her short hair either. It was shorter and looked worse a couple months ago so im glad its getting longer and hope it will grow more before she starts filming!!
I miss her medium-long hair!
*sigh* The sweet old times...

As i mentioned before, i don't like the storyline nor practically anything except for the fact that Flora is in it... I hope the script is well written and makes the story more interesting than what is revealed so far! *fingers crossed*

Flora Chan was busy filming series yesterday night. For the first day of her filming, she was filming in Sai Kung. In order to concentrate on her work, she definitely will not telephone her daughter. She said,"Sometimes, I missed her while filming series. However, I just do not want to affect the filming performance of this series." Flora stated herself was indeed cheerful and happy when returning back to film. Furthermore, she felt a warm-heart feeling when she was working with the filming crews and workers. On the other hand, she did not demand to the producer for special privileges as to end the filming earlier than before. But, she will quickly go back home to look after her daughter when she had finished her work. Flora was just a good mum after all!!!

Flora Chan back filming series to avoid daughter getting too attached

Last night, it was Flora Chan's first day back at work for TVB in a new series "Searching for Lasting Love". They were filming a scene in Sai Kung. She reveals that overnight filming had already happened on the first day: "I haven't filmed a series for 3 years, but I did film some movies sometimes. I'm not sure if I could get used to the long filming schedules because I already gotten used to the normal life, now I'm suddenly have to stay up all night, it's gonna be hard. I'll just have to count on my will." Filming again, Flora frankly said that it felt very exciting, seeing her old colleagues gives her a very close feeling.

Towards not being able to see her daughter for all night, Flora expressed that although she misses her, but its for her own good, Flora doesn't want her to get too 'sticky' to her: "I want her to realize that the world does not just have her mom. Recently when I go out, I would let my daughter get used to not having her my by her side all the time." Asked if she's going to be like Anita Yuen, requesting to TVB for longer breaks? She said: "Nope! We already discussed everything, it's just one series. If I'm going to film any more series in the future, we'll have to see when the time comes."

When I read the informations, I thought it was going to be a serious drama not comedy at all. But I guess comedy is fine too. And I don't mind Sharon finally getting bigger roles actually.

Flora Chan, Jo Ma and Sharon Chan attended the blessing ceremony for TVB up coming new series "Searching For Love" yesterday. It is Flora's first time to return on screen since she got married, she expressed that she has to get used to the timing of the filming, such as working day and night. Flora told reporter "As I have been busy working, I was unable to take my daughter to the playground for the first time. She was screaming her head off and it hurts me so much that I bursted out crying too."

In this series, Flora plays the role of a strong woman, very similar to herself in real life, "After I had my daughter, I am stronger still. I even learn to be more patient, that way, I can protect her." Flora stated that as an artist, she is a professional and to her, work always comes first. At home, she would rather give up her sleeping hour to spend quality time with her daughter. She would always appear at her best at work, if necessary, she wouldn't mind kissing scene either. Flora was asked if she would continue to work after this series, she replied that it is too far ahead and she will have to wait and see.

Joe plays the role of someone who has involved in a love triangle, he said "I have Flora and Sharon around me and I have quite a few kissing scenes with Sharon too." Jo won't disclose the ending, but he hopes the audience like the ending.

Oh no!! Joe has kissing scenes with Sharon! Whenever I see artistes playing siblings like Joe and Sharon in Catch me Now and now they become a pairing in this series but obviously won't end up together cos its probably Flora that gets him but I think its weird! And I personally think Joe doesn't have any chemistry with any of his female co stars!

Finally, I just loved Flora's acting in her previous series! I really do hope that this series will be a success. Thumbs up for Flora!

glad to see Sharon having more bigger roles hopefully, TVB will let her lead one day. I think she's one of the prettiest actress in TVB right now.
