This is really for my own reference, because I want to see the ratio of good to bad actors from here and sort of gauge the quality. I may choose to do this for the two other top schools in China (Shanghai Theater Academy and Beijing Film Academy), but since Central Academy is the best, and seems to generally pick people based on skill-level...going to start with it.

They are listed in the order of how I consider their acting ability.

I realized there's no thread for Chen Daoming. That's just sad. Those top four are just unbelievably good actors. I haven't seen enough of Yu Xiaowei and Jing Dong to judge but they were very good in what I did see them in (Rouge Snow and Chuang Guan Dong).

As for Li Yapeng, the jury is out...mostly I think he's a very good writer, very well-read, but unsure about his acting.

Although I don't think she's as bad as people say, Zhang Ziyi seriously is the worst actress on this list, except for Peng Yan who I haven't seen act.

Tang Yan and Guo Jiaming are both in Chengtian Entertainment, and two of the fastest rising actors and actresses in China. He graduated and she entered the school in 2002.
