i've found some similarities between them
the leading girl of i do name xia yi xin and my lucky star leading girl was named xia zi xin...doesn't they sound alike?
they use 5 year before 5 years later in these two dramas!!
in my opinion they look alike because they talk so romantic in these two dramas and the couples love each other a lot, a lot that they can do anything for the happiness of his/her other half....

Lmao...wow, what a hard topic. Funny how the two series you chose just HAD to be these two, being my fave dramas. Good job for starting it. Got me stumped there.

These two are like one of my most FAVE dramas ever, and I reallyyy loveeddd (still do) My Lucky Star when I watched it. But I recently JUSt finished watchign I Do? so probably the feeling is more "fresh" than My Lucky Star, so I'd probably be liking I Do? right now more. But then if we actually THINK about it....erm I duno. LOL too hard. Both leads' chemistries were sooo good, but I'm probably leaning towards Annie/Blue for their chemistry. Both stories were pretty good, and I thought both were also "not as idol drama" as regular ones.

I DO all the way... LOVE I DO. I think I DO is the best taiwanese romance drama of all time.

For me, it is definitely ‘I Do’…….so romantic…love the chemistry between Blue Lan and Annie Liu….they are so amazingly sweet and affectionate…haha…

Gotta say Lucky Star. I guess because I prefer the main lead Jimmy Lin over Blue Lan.

My Lucky Star has a better plot i believe... i watched both but i honestly prefer my lucky star... not b/c of cast even... just b/c the plot is more interesting... i could watch that 5 more times... where i Do? i cant... i rewatched my lucky star 3 times already... not for I DO tho~ not once have i thout about it.. i could but maybe later.
