it's still airing, and some are still shooting (i think). it airs weekly on tvb - every saturday night.

do anyone know when this series would come out in usa if it is.looks interesting. i think its cool seeing newcomers instead of seeing the same people in every series

this is a very interesting series indeed. Lots of noobs, but should be ok to watch. Waiting for it to appear in US

I've been watching fantasy trend every week and it is really interesting. I can't wait till the episode with Bosco comes out.

some episodes are good and suspensful, but some are juss weird and corny.

Can anyone explain what happened in ep 14? i dont really get it. To me, it seems like the 2 girls died in the house from an accident and their spirits cant go to heaven cos they dont know how they died :S

hmm I dunnoe about the going to heaven tidbit, but what was happening at the end, is that in the present, living people were playing the Ouija Board game where you asks spirits questions, and yumiko and isabella were those spirits. And they didn't realize it until the end.

The thing is Yumiko and Isabella didn't know they they are already dead. They died because they committed suicide by burning coal in the same house in the past sometime. So they were, I guess, re-living their ghost lives in the same house. The toys playing by themselves, the old lady with lots of money (dead money and servants her family burned for her), the smell of burning (symbolize all the incense), etc...they are basically living in the "dead" world by Chinese traditions.

In a way, it's quite interesting, but they didn't explain what made them commit suicide.

This show is getting really interesting...i really like it. The lastest episode i saw was scary with Don Li in it. I can't wait for the next episode.

This is very spooky series, the chapter what aired last saturday or was it sunday in HK was very very spooky and terrible. But I'm happy that TVB is airing dramas like this.

In my opinion:
- Now the most disgusting chapter is the chapter by Bosco Wong.
- The most terrible is the last by Don Li, Mandy Chian, Cheng Mei Lai and Jojo or Yoyo (sorry I'm not sure about her english name) Chan, she is the third sister of family Yip in Sunshine heartbeat.
- The most sad chapter is by Nancy Sit.
- The most boring is by Deep Ng.

I think ep 12 (correct me if wrong) is the one with Bosco Wong and Chin Ka Lok. About how Chin Ka Lok is the Devil (literally translated in Chinese as the "Death God"), and he sees Bosco enjoying the thrill of killing people, and so he lets him be his assistant. He gave Bosco this machine which tell him when people would die and how they would die, and whomever that possesses the machine can control how that person dies. No matter how they would die, they have to die that time and date the notebook machine says.

Ep 13 is with Deep Ng, Zac Koo. It's sorta weird to explain. It talks about how seniors sometimes make fun of freshmens at school, and Deep is supposely a new freshmen that the prank went too far on, and his soul left his body.

Ep 14 is with Yumiko and Isabella, they moved into an apartment, and strange, eerie things started happening. It turns out that they are ghosts whose spirits lingered in the apartment they died in.

Ep 15 is the one with Ella Koon, Rubyanne Choi, and Wilfred Lau?. This is pretty interesting. This talks about a girl who got a tattoo with her boyfriend. The rose tattoo symbolize their never ending love. And during the tattoo session, her boyfriend puts his blood on her tattoo (which i think is gross and really could lead to infection) Then she somehow breaks up with that boyfriend, and he commits suicide. Years later, she got a new bf...Wilfred Lau, and they were dating. He wants her to remove the tattoo, and finally she agrees too, but strangely, it doesn't come off, and it even pricks anyone else who touches it. It never left her, and she grew old with it.

Ep 16. is with Renai Dai, Maria Chan, Ellesmere Choi. Renai's parents died in a fire. Her aunt and uncle played by Maria Chan and Ellesmere, takes her in to live with them. Their living habits are weird, eating only cold food, swallowing it whole, living in really cold areas, and licking each other. It turns out that these are not really her real aunt and uncle, but are supernatural forms of snakes that turn into human (semi-devils) to take revenge on her parents for killing snakes.

ep 17 is the one with Yoyo Chan, Don Li, and two other girls. These 4 are really good friends, and they agree to visit a haunted house to take pictures of the supernatural for a school project. At the beginning, they are the best of friends, but as the house gets more haunted, to the extent of demanding to take one person's live to save another, these friends turned on each other.

ep 18 is the one with Carlo Ng and Cerina, in which it talks about how one's soul reincarnates into a body once at a time. Carlo plays a neurophysician, who keeps on having the same dreams in years. His fiance is Cerina. He gets a patient that is in a coma, but what is weird is that he seems to have some sort of closeness with this patient, and it seems like Carlo have these memories which is related to the patient, from what he heard. As he heals his patient, his health gets worse. Finally, when his patient wakes up from the coma, Carlo gets into a coma.

I really enjoy these episodes, some episode really makes you think. Some of the interesting ones are...

the one with Jack Wu and Shirley in which Jack went to a website that could tell what happens in the future, but he has to pay for it by subtracting his life years to know. It makes you think whether if knowing the future means you have to pay a price.

Another one is when Race plays a superstar that could read people's mind. Is is really good to know what others really think, or would it be bad to know just too much.

the one with Mimi Lo and Edwin Siu. Each person has a set of attributes that each have its own worth. If sold, then the person changes. It makes you think about how people would sometime sell their dignity and respect to get what they want, which turns them into a person that lacks something.

the one with kate tsui and michael tse. I thought this one is sort of romantic and sad. The girl plays a ghost, but yet her spirit still stays to be with her husband after she dies because their love is so strong. I think Kate did a pretty good job.

the one with Shine, about disciplining students but instead makes clones of the perfect them. Cloning is an interesting topic, and if given the ability for technology to advance so quickly, is it possible in the future, something like this can happen? Is cloning the perfect child better than the child that is conceived first?

the one with yumiko and isabella about how spirits dont know whether they are alive or dead. Makes you think whether after death, your spirit would know what's going on.

the one with Ella koon is pretty interesting...shows how some things can really last forever and cant be erased even if you wish it would.

the one with don li and yoyo chan....the four friends, I think is the most interesting portrayal about human nature ands its evilness, sorta reminds me of Lord of the Flies. Makes you think about how humans could turn on each other, no matter how close you are with each other, when one's own life is in danger.

and i liked ep 18 with Carlo Ng. Stuff about how souls reincarnate into different bodies are interesting...it seems like a more reliable answer when death comes.

They did explain why Yumiko and Isabella commited suicide, remember after the guy asked "How did you guys die?" and Isabella answered, "We died by burning coal."? Yumiko then turned her head to see the newspaper and the headline was about the older sister being jobless, so without another path to take, she took her younger sister who was mentally challenged to commit suicide, which was talking about Yumiko and Isabella. It also made Yumiko realize they were dead, it seemed like after they were dead, Isabella was talking normally and not in the baby voice.

This may be off-topic, but I find it interesting that Isabella's name in the story was 欣 (Yan) and Yumiko's name in the story was 桐 (Tung), so put together, we have 欣桐 (Yan Tung), which is Gillian's name, probably just a spoof they decided to put in because they're from EEG .

this series sounds interesting...and does look kinda scary...when did it strart showing inhk? from what ive been hearing...the cast does seem to be letting the series down cos the story of each ep soungs good!

I rented 5 tapes b4 and i liked this show but after the epidsode where miki get possessed by a ghost i got freaked out and i returned all the tapes. it took me a few wks to forget that. especially when miki was looking into the mirror i screamed.

This is indeed a good and unique series, I've only seen a couple of episodes until now. Is there only 19 eps in total? Wish they made it longer, like the classic "Mystery Beyond" from early 80's. That one was very long, and many of the ghost stories were very interesting.

i like this serie but unfortunately there are a lot of story dat are 2 short and are not so scared! i want more episods really frightening!

When i downloaded episode 19 it was missing an ending...can anyone tell me what happened in the end after the guy and girl split up? thanks

I was surprised to find Ella Koon in one of the stories, the "Tattoo" story Even though I don't think she looks too pretty with her hair coloured brown.

i think dat there are some episod dat are very scary! but the best one, for me ,is the episod which is talking about plastic surgery with the girls of cookies! oh it's so horrible and scary

I thought this was kinda scary and creepy. I only saw the first five episode. The one with miki and teresa in it is so scary

This series is called "Thế Giới Kỳ Ảo" in Viet if any Viet viewers want to check it out. I didn't know what it is since I haven't followed up w/ the series title at the beginning of this year, especially this one. But when I read into some of the summaries, it sure brought back some memories! *creeps* Some of them are really scary while others are just like teaching you it's not a good idea to try this or that, like the one that one dude was pranked on. The first few stories were more creepy, especially the one w/ the girl wanting to change her image. It sorta reminds you to "respect the dead" and not talk like that in front of someone's grave. The most sick one, I had to agree, is Bosco's. How can someone enjoy doing that? *creepy* This a pretty series overall w/ the varieties of stories. I wasn't thinking or really paying attention about acting at all since the stories freaked me out already. But I thought bringing back these types of series is a good thing for TVB. Once awhile so we don't bored w/ all those "glamorous" series.

I must admit that I was really bored at the beginning of this year and renting this series to watch 'cause I saw that "Ekin" is back with TVB. But didn't realize that he's just a host. Continued to watch anyways. This series literally freaked me out - some of the stories more or less. But it also got me thinking too.

And I never realized Charmaine Sheh was in here. Probably too busy being scared to remember.
