since Moonlight resonance and rosey business both had really extreme high ratings and both really had me going crazy, i was wondering what you guys think.

I really enjoyed watching both, maybe Moonlight Resonance a little more..
Let me know what you guys think !!

I prefer Rosy Business over Moonlight Resonance. I felt Moonlight's story is very similar to the first one Heart of Greed on top of that the story of Heart of Greed is better than Moonlight. It can be quite upsetting when every scene always ends up in quarelling and fighting where else Rosy's storyline is more interesting.

I voted for Rosy Business cos of the refreshing plot and I think Wayne and Sheren did a superb job and it didn't drag like MR! I do like it cos of Raymond Lam otherwise I wouldn't watch it!
alic3.
rosy business because it was much more interesting
even tho the ending was sad it had a good meaning to it

I'll go for moonlight resonance because i love the cast members. The storyline and cast to MR attracts young aged people more...
*where rosy business is more of a old drama

Definitely Moonlight Resonance!

The cast sold the show! Having said that, i prefer Rosy Business in terms of the storyline by a mile.

I prefer Rosy Business in terms of storyline and plot (also freshness and being fast-paced), but I also thought Moonlight Resonance was excellent because the actors/actresses did such a great job. If you cut out all of the nonsense scenes that dragged out the series (like the whole love relationship thing between Linda and Bosco, which was stupid and boring), then MR would be able to compete better with Rosy Business.

I voted for Rosy Business because the storyline was interesting and Wayne and Sheren did a very good job in this drama.I always rush for the following episode. The ending was good but pretty sad.A very nice drama. As for Moonlight Resonance.it's very good too but it's just like kind of fighting each other to get something.I been watching it because of the actors and actresses such as Raymond Lam,Bosco Wong,Linda Chung and others. If the drama wouldn't have this i think i'm not going to watch it.

Rosy Business even though i like the MR cast more since there's Tavia, Bosco and Raymond.
But i gotta pick Rosy cause the story was just GREAT and Wayne was just really good in it! =)
MR was a continuous series so it wasnt really a fresh, interesting drama although it is still good.

I can not choose because i love both series!

I agree about the cast of moonlight and the storyline of rosy.
I guess if i had to choose, it will have to be moonlight as i prefer modern over ancient!

I like both series, but I prefer "Moonlight Resonance" more. I mean I was really anticipating for this series when they started filming the series. Since "Heart of Greed" was quite good, I looked forward to seeing the sequel. I thought Michelle Yim's evil look in "The Brink of Law" was good, so knowing she would be eveil in "Moonlight Resonance," I really wanted to see it. Plus I wanted to see Linda and Tavia in the series.

I think Moonlight Resonance is the better overall series.

The Moonlight cast owns Rosy Business' by a landslide. In Rosy Business, anybody not named Wayne Lai or Sheren Tang, did an okay job at most. Wayne Lai and Sheren should be...and deserve, to be heavily favored at this year's awards.

But Rosy Business win in the ending department. I am kinda disappointed with Moonlight Resonance's ending. Whereas, Rosy Business have one of the most memorable endings of all time.

Both series are enjoyable.

However, Moonlight Resonance have a very strong cast and most of them are stellar and
popular stars like Raymond, Moses, Bosco, Travia, Kate etc and in addition, MR depicts a modern storyline.

Rosy Business is a drama worth watching too and the story is refreshing.

i don't know which one because both of them are great!!!

Honestly, I think RB is better than MR. I mean MR does have lots more cast than RB but their storyline really suk! They put in useless character and annoying script that does not mean anything. I do appreciate them trying to make a connection with the audience by creating such a lovely family with good bro and good sis, but seriously it so fake. No family can ever be like that. Oh plus annoying Linda with her stupid crying face. I do love Linda but I hated her character in MR. I guess I should blame the director for that. Also it so easy to predict what will happen next in the series, compare to RB I can't. Every episode, something unexpected happens.

Yes, the most annoying part about MR was Linda's character....if it wasn't for the useless storyline between her and Bosco's character, the series would have had a chance to compare with Rosy Business. Though to be honest, modern and ancient series are so different from each other that it really isn't fair to compare them....anyway, I agree that RB was the better series.

I prefer Moonlight Resonance. The storyline is very meaningful

RoseyBusiness.
The plot was good and the cast was just wayyy better at acting.

lonegurl
RB! It's only 25episodes so less nonsense.

In RB, the focus was mainly on 2 people so it was easier to watch. In MR, whenever there's bickering, everyone seems to participate since they're trying very hard to add "golden lines" so i bet the scriptwriters are thinking, the more they talk, the higher chances of "golden lines". Furthermore, the arguments in MR was all about family and personal affairs while in RB, they really talk business. Plus, the argument scenes in MR was far too much.

Next, the plot in RB was less predictable so audiences are really surprised time after time. The ending was good and natural unlike MR which was a big happy ending. In RB, the ending was a balance between sad and happiness which is what happens most of the time in real life.

Plus, the characters in RB were really well portrayed and they are more "real". In MR, it's obvious TVB is trying to promote Raymond with his goody character and lsk with her "good mum" image. Of course, Ron was also the goody type in RB but I felt that it's not overdone like goon ga zai.

Lastly, MR bagging all the awards during the award ceremony and all the hype just turn me off. We're not sure how RB would fare at this year's award ceremony but I'm sure it wouldn't be as dominating as MR was in 2008.

Voted for RB.
The plot has got an interesting twist in it. Besides that, there was also less episodes than MR. I kinda hate stories that drag on and on. To be honest, I did not really enjoy MR much, maybe because of the love theme and all. RB was a little mysterious and left some spaces for the audiences to work their imagination. smile.gif
