Leo Ku Kui Ke as the Orbus youth ambassador earlier went with 4 secondary school students to visit a Kunming children's eye hospital and cheered on children with sight lost. The little patients surrounded Gei Jai as soon as he arrived and two even sang his song REALLY REALLY WANT (HO SEUNG HO SEUNG).

Gei Jai hoped that even more schools will participate in September's Orbus student ambassador event so more students can participate in the journey of sight. After this visit he has learned to cherish everything even more.

(9/22/2004) Leo Ku Kui Ke yesterday attended a radio interview. He had sunglasses on because while sleeping he had a mosquito bite that made his eye red and swollen. Gei Jai said that he has been busy with coming up with a name for his niece and jokingly came up with names like Ku Bo (ancient treasure). Later he honestly said that he has asked Joe Ngai Chun for help.

Although Gei Jai did not mind his little brother "getting ahead" with marriage and family, he honestly said that his father has rushed him to look for a mate. "I want someone outside the business and like children! I want a baby but I am career minded! I am very traditional man so the baby has to come after marriage."

He has a very good voice, I think he should focus on singing instead of acting. he had a current album that is pretty good.

I like Leo and his songs and I like his series but he dont' really act that much and i heard that he created a cartoon character by himself or a comic book something like that.

Nick Cheung, Gordon Lam and Leo Ku attended the swearing ceremony for a charity walk to collect money for education yesterday.

Since Nick showed up without Esther Kwan, people started to guess that Esther might be pregnant. Nick denied, and explained she was too busy to make it. He said they would later participate in the walk together, and there was no need to speculate anything. Nick has also confessed he wants to become a father very much, but right now, he needs to find sponsors from mainland China to support this charity event.

Gordon is very enthusiastic about this cause, and so far he has collected more than 40,000 dollars. Because of his work schedules, he is not sure what part of the walk he can cover, but he will definitely take part in the swearing ceremony in Beijing on Oct. 10.

All three guys have been paying close attention to "War and Beauty", and they agree Sheren Tang is the favorite to take the female lead award this year. They think Yu Fei is a very challenging role, and Sheren has nailed the character.

I think he's such a good singer that u can hardly find in HK now... He has a great voice, and he always looks like a "good kid", with a healthy image... and indeed, he's cute... Absolutely love his voice.....he's the first singer that I admired....

Leo Ku, Gigi Lai and Fiona Yuen were guests at a special Christmas party yesterday and having just returned to Hong Kong from Malaysia, Leo responded to Beyond's earlier 'Crab Kings' remark, saying that he had admired Beyond all along and he is also thankful to the help that Alan Tam has offered him. However, he feels that as a singer, then the title is not important, the most important thing is to make the albums great. He says that since last year, he has been working hard at his music and he believes that friends in the media will agree. When Leo was asked if he was confident about winning an award this year, he did not respond directly, just saying that he has worked hard. When asked how he feels about being dubbed one of the 'New Four Heavenly Kings', he says it would be better if people did not mention that too much as this would help to reduce the pressure on him. He had hoped a long time ago that he would not be given this title because he is just an ordinary person who likes to sing.

Gigi worked together with Leo on a music video for her song "White Shirt" many years ago and meeting up once again, she felt that he has matured a lot and hopes that they can work together once again in the future. Originally Gigi had decided to take some time out for a vacation, but as she has too much work, then she has had to cancel this and spend Christmas working. When asked if she has made a lot of money from this, she smiles and says that there are some jobs that she does not get paid for. Earlier there were rumours that she has exchanged a contract for her 'Most Favourite Female Lead' award with TVB, but when asked about whether she has already signed the contract, she says it is nearly completed, but she cannot reveal the details.

There was an incident at the party when they pulled some party poppers, Leo saw that Gigi was struggling to pull it so he offered to help her. The popper backfired and injured Leo's thumb and nearly hit his sensitive area. Afterwards, Leo said: "My thumb has swollen up and there is a bruise on my thigh, but my 'little brother' is okay. It was quite dangerous, but this is my first party popper related injury!"

Has anyone here read his comic Kubi? I heard it is very popular in HongKong and I am interested in reading it if possible.

(12/28/2004) Alan Tam Wing Lun named Andy Hui Chi On, Leo Ku Kui Ke, Hacken Lee Hark Kun and Edmond Leung Hon Man the New Four Great Heavenly Kings. Two nights ago Alan personally presented the Metro Hit Radio Male Singer Awards. The four waited for Alan to make the announcements, but Alan ripped up the result before even looking at it and announced that all four and Andy Lau Tak Wa won.

Ku Kui Ke expressed, "No one knows whether the paper had four names, but don't look so deep into it." Hacken knew his friend Alan's personality and said, "He is always like that. I really don't know when he will do what. He was just trying to rave up the atmosphere."

Metro Radio expressed that the awards were chart determined and not childish at all. Ripping up the result was Alan's idea alone and was unplanned.

Tomorrow is the start of a new year. Miriam Yeung Chin Wa, Leo Ku Kui Ke, and Cookies have goals that they will work toward. Chin Wa said, "Hopefully in 2005 I can get a license and become a scooter owner." Cookies would like to become the top group in singing and dancing among Hong Kong girl groups. Gei Jai will be entering his 11th year in the business in 2005 and plan to perform his first concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum and a Jass Comics Album.

TVB's "Jade Solid Gold Music Awards 2004" will be held tonight at the Hong Kong Coliseum and a special blessing ceremony was held yesterday. As many of the stars were rushing to attend the Tsunami fundraising event, it was a rather hectic day for them all. The MC's for this year's show will be Cheng Dan Shui, Denise Ho and Ronald Cheng and among the presentation guests will be the "Olympic Duo" Ko Lai Chak and Lee Ching, Vivian Chow and Felix Wong. In memory of the late lyricist genius James Wong, the show has invited Francis Yip and the Wynners to perform some of James' classics.

With the main focus of the event being on who will take the "Most Popular Male Singer Award", Andy Lau, Hacken Lee and Leo Ku are still the top three in the running and Andy says that he is confident in winning but is not too nervous because since 2000, it has been four years since he has won it and no matter if he wins or not tonight, he will still be able to accept it.

When asked if he is confident in becoming the most popular male singer in the Asia Pacific as well as Hong Kong, Andy says with excitement that if this is the case then it would be even better. However, he says that he would rather pass on his good luck to the victims of the Tsunami disaster in the hope that they can rebuild their homeland. As for the rumours that Leo Ku is using the production rights to his concert as an incentive for TVB to give him the award, Andy says that he does not believe this and TVB is not so shady, with their own operating procedures that he has faith in. Having just completed his own concert run recently and unlikely to hold another one for a few years, Andy says he believes that he will have a chance to work with TVB on a concert.

When Leo was asked about this suggested deal, Leo said candidly that he has put a lot of hard work and commitment into his work this year and everyone can see this, so he will not enter into any such deals. As for whether his concert will be produced by TVB next year, he says he is not sure as yet.

Leon announced a long time ago that he would not be competing for the awards, but he will still be present at the JSG awards ceremony because there is a new section where he will be singing some classic songs to raise funds for the Community Chest. Leon will be heading out to Beijing on the 9th to take part in a local charity show before attending the film festival. When asked about his former rumoured girlfriend Day Wong's reports that she will be marrying Li Yapeng in April, Leon refused to comment, saying: "I don't care. Don't ask me, it is not me getting married." When asked when he would be getting married, Leon laughed and said when he needs to, then he will get married.

There have been rumours that some of the stars have donated some of their personal effects directly to help the victims of the disaster and Edmond Leung was reported by Andy Hui to have donated a crutch. However, Edmond denies this, saying that a crutch would probably be more useful to a pensioner than to a victim of the tsunamis. He says that the appeal is not a joke and donating a crutch is not an auspicious gesture. Edmond says that he will not be angry at Andy for suggesting this and he will be donating a diamond necklace worth $130,000 for the charity auction in the hope of raising more money. Andy explained himself, saying that he was in a rush when he called Edmond that day and caused a misunderstanding, but this is not important because they are all doing their part.

"Right now I have alread controlled what and how much I eat. I am focused on adjustment. In 2004 it was out of rhythm several times. I would faint while I was singing." when i heard that he got 3 awards i was so happy i was sleeping in the car on my way to school and i was listening to the radio at the same time and then i heard that he got the awards for his song and for the guy award i was so happy and then i was tellin my friends that he got the award. so happy for leo and i like his songs alot.

Leo Ku Kui Ke will finally perform his concert series on March 7. Yesterday he held a press conference and invited 40 fans to cheer him on. Because "gold" is lucky for Gei Jai, it is in the concert title. His fans brought a pair of gold thong to congratulate Gei Jai. Sponsors gave him a giant gold and ruby microphone. Manager Paco Wong gave him Changbaishan ginseng. Gei Jai returned with kisses.

Fans suggested for Gei Jai to dance with Vivian Chow Wai Man. Gei Jai said, "Wow, I have to ask (Joe) Ngai Chun first, but if she can Vivian has to wear the dress from the TVB JADE SOLID GOLD awards!" He said that he would not ask Vivian to get on stage. She could just come to the show.

Leo Ku held an album signing event in Mongkok yesterday and attracted several hundred fans and to get into the new year spirit, he wore a golden yellow traditional jacket. He also showed off his art at the event, writing a pair of greetings to wish everyone a Happy New Year, but the verse seemed to be geared towards making TVB happy instead!

Leo took a whole evening to think up the lines: "Listen to songs on Jade Solid Gold, then your house will be filled with Solid Gold." As 'Jade Solid Gold' is the name of a TVB show, then it is obvious where he loyalties lie. Leo feels that this year will be a good start as he has done well in both record sales and sales in his concert tickets and he believes the coming year will be even better. With the additional shows to his sellout concert run and tickets on sale today, it is believed that again the demand will outstrip the supply. In light of this, Leo's manager Paco Wong plans to hold a set of 'Part 2' performances later in the year, if they can fit it into their schedules. The management team is working hard to satisfy all the fans and the mainland tour is planned for the second half of the year.

Leo Ku Kui Ke last year has a bountiful year, winning 14 awards at the four music awar shows, his record NOBITA (DAI HUNG) sold nearly 100,000 copies. The just released SOLID GOLD HITS (GAING GOR GUM KUK) had a 30,000 first order. He had over 20 appearances at the end of the year performances and big company spring banquets. His comic book character Kubi has made over 1 million and he and Kubi had three big ad campaigns. His first concert series has 7 shows.

Gei Jai's eyes widened when he learned about the estimate. "Don't calculate like that! It's....it's not that much!" He aditted that last year he made a lot so this year he will add to his laisee to the crew.

Leo Ku Kui Ke's 4 show second concert run (April 6 to 9) went on sales two days ago, but the tickets were gone within a day due to internal purchase.

Gei Jai has been rehearsing for the opening show tomorrow and invited David Tao Jit to be his guest at the first show. Two nights ago Gei Jai rehearsed with the band at the rehearsal room. He said that the daily countdown has made him very anxious. He was the most concerned about singing while dancing, but after months of hard work he confidently said, "I should be able to give everyone a pleasant surprise."

He also said, the dancing was a breakthrough for him. He will have a Broadway show style dancing robot. "I have liked robots since I was very little. Finally I can fulfill my childhood dreams on stage." Gei Jai also thanked Jacky Cheung Hok Yau for giving him the date for the second run.
