Oh wow. QE already has another project lined up so soon after Easy Fortune, Happy Life? And with one of her previous co-stars from that series nonetheless!

Well, I can't wait for this one. I was actually one of the ones who secretly rooted for QE and Roy in EFHL. It's also about time that Roy became a male lead again.

Yeah, QE and Roy has good chemistry in EFHL. I hope that they will have better characters to work with this time too. Looking forward to it.

This series is killing me... I've waited so long eversince EFHL to hear news about QE next project but, yet nothing has happen... can somebody confirm anything to where she's about? More news about this series maybe?

Hunan's other drama, the one with Blue Lan has started filming.. Very quietly too..
So there's high chances that this drama won't have much news either
Hunan might want to wait till nearer airing to start promoting its dramas?

Anyway, QE and Roy are both definitely still in Taiwan if you check QE's AF thead.
She should be making a move to Hang Zhou soon though if filming is going to take place by 24th.

Hm, earlier on, it was the photographer that said he'll report in on the 24th. Given how there's no news, it probably didn't meant the rest of the group will be reporting in on the same day too

Roy has some competition in Taiwan till 28/29 I think so maybe both QE and Roy will be going to mainland together after that?

She said that QE was suppose to be the first to do costume fitting and its today but due to flight issue or something, it has now been set that QE will do her costume fitting tomorrow

beside information from the photographer's blog .. there doen't seem to be any news regarding this drama .. i think hunan is like that.
i remember that it was only during meteor shower that i heard a lot of news, mainly because of the controversies on it. but for the others, i rarely hear news.

however i am not that updated to hunan drama that's why i am not really sure on it.
the drama i always see at hunan are those from other countries like tw or korean.

i just hope QE would give us some update on this drama. or maybe roy.. they both update their blogs.

Basically says that there's going to be 30 episodes, 3 months production period and filming begins in october (probably delayed now haha)

The synopsis they provided (I think it doesn't do justice to the actual book Hopefully, the script will be better)

Translated:

After university student You Jia Qi met Meng He Ping, the two started dating. Meng He Ping's mother however strongly objected to their relationship. Jia Qi broke up with He Ping and He Ping angrily went overseas. Jia Qi's friend Ruan Zheng Dong who comes from a rich family, had an accident and ended up in the hospital. Jia Qi went to visit him and unexpectedly met He Ping again. It turned out that He Ping and Zheng Dong were childhood friends. To escape from the heartaches that He Ping's reappearance brought about, Jia Qi started dating Zheng Dong. Zheng Dong ended up in the hospital again due to stomach pains which turned out to be the terminal stage of gastric cancer. He decided to let He Ping and Jia Qi, the two lovers be together and secretly left. Jia Qi started to search for him. Zheng Dong knew that he didn't have much time left and asked Jia Qi to help him retrieve back a very important property belonging to him. I don't really like how this synopsis seems like they're planning to have Jia Qi make use of Zheng Dong to get over her broken heart.

Ji Jie (吉杰) has announced himself to be filming JQRM too (From Nov 1 to Feb I think) on baidu.
Didn't announce his role but given how he's born in 1977 year, possible that he might be acting as He Ping?

I'm kindof hoping not though.. It will be good if he's casted in some other role like.. Maybe Jia Qi's senior, Xu Shi Feng.
He doesn't look 2 years older than QE but IMO... 5-6 years at least and I cannot imagine Jia Qi and He Ping looking so different in age
And they'll be filming university scenes together...

Okay, this series need to release some news, cause i'm about to die here wanting to know what's going on! I wonder how will they make the ending to this...! will they keep the sad ending? lolz i hope not, but in a way i guess this could be QE brake through in china.

I like the story because it is not often that the main female character fall in love with someone else that her first love. Hope that she end up with Zheng Dong. And for once, it is the main male character who suffer from a malicious disease.

There has been a first official news out on this drama.

The director for this drama is Shen Yi.

He worked with QE before in 100% Senorita and most recent work is
Meteor Shower by Hunan.

Those that watched it, how was the filming?

I would prefer them keeping the sad ending. It'll make the whole story more impactful.

And to suddenly cure Zheng Dong from his gastric cancer IMO will just make the story abit illogical/more fairytale like which I hope won't happen. Would rather the drama be more realistic if possible

He graduated from Shanghai's Film School and has a ton of acting experience.

I'm glad to know that William Feng is the one who'll act as He Ping. Definitely a good thing.. for the drama itself and also for QE

I've watched some of his series (Boy & Girl, Drive of Life, Mei Gui Jiang Hu) and he's indeed a good actor who is quite versatile.. able to portrays different kind of roles .
He also acted in many HK-Mainland dramas before. Coincidentally, he had worked with Ady An before in the ancient Mainland drama called Yun Niang.

Really looking forward to see Jia Qi Ru Meng. The news of William Feng as He Ping is definitely makes me happy

Just saw a picture that William acted in a HK TVB drama as well.

Yupe. That's right. He acted two or three TVB dramas.. one of them is a mega production called Drive of Life. He's also quite close with HK actor, Raymond Lam.

OMG!!! William Feng as the other actor?! I'll be excited!
He's such a HOTTIE! I remember watching him in Drive of Life (TVB series) with Myolie Wu, I really like his character there...but I honestly didn't think his acting was the best (?) maybe cuz of his character...then again, he's the most experienced out of all the actors Qiao En has work with...so we'll see how that goes.

But I don't know about Roy being the main actor though cuz his role in the series is quite challenging and I think I'd like William with Qiao En for a try...hehehe...

QE has fallen sick due to the coldness
She didn't mention any of the interactions between MD and QE but mentioned that she took alot of pictures of Ady and QE together
QE and Ady even joked that those are their drama photos.

QE and Ady are really quite close!
And William and Ady worked together before.. So I guess Ady visited both of them? Maybe she'll able to do some introductions and all so that QE and William can know each other better faster.

Sorry to be a wet blanket but as usual I prefer to be cautious when it comes to unsubstantiated news. So far there's no concrete news that William Feng is acting as He Ping. There is only one post on Tianya (a notorious site) by a user who claimed that he saw William Feng acting with QE. The poster can't even name William Feng, just describe as the lead of some drama. Too many unknown factors here, maybe William Feng is just a guest star? Maybe the poster saw wrongly? Until we get further news, let's not jump up and down now and declare William Feng as the male lead.

That aside, I have never seen William Feng in any drama but his profile pleases me. From his filmography, he should be an experienced actor with a long list of acting credits. Age wise, he is close to QE's age and compatible. Looks wise, he is not bad looking either (my type, I like guys that looks a little cool and rugged). So I do hope he is the male lead and can act well with QE.
