Looking forward to another collaboration of Roger Kwok with Cheung Kin Man. I'm glad Roger takes up this show instead of the other "family" series, since I think this genre about hate & revenge is more suitable for Roger.

What’s so special?
All conflicts in the world originate from the word – ‘greed’. Scenes of conflicts and arguments; Refusal to acknowledge one’s family members; Twisted human nature; All these will push the drama to its climax. However all these will also make the precious value of kinship stand out from the strong contrast, thus portraying the priceless kinship’s warmth.
“Happiness, not because you own a lot, but because you aren’t so calculative” – this is the belief which the female lead holds onto faithfully, and also the main theme for this drama.

Story Outline:
Due to the sudden passing of the head of the Yuen family, it created the start of the change in family. As the eldest son and his wife wanted to take over the entire family business for their own, thus they framed the mother of having an extra-marital affair. The grandfather, whom was down with Alzheimer’s disease, had always held a prejudice against the mother, and even chased the second daughter, third daughter, fourth son and the mother out of the house. The mother gritted her teeth and set up a small shop using the dessert secret recipe. When the eldest son saw the thriving business at the small shop, he went to sue the mother for copyright infringement. Before the case was being trialed in court, the mother met with an accident and died. The family burden was then left upon the second daughter.
The fourth son was not the biological child of the Yuen family, and he was being accused to be the illegitimate child, thus he kept feeling aggrieved over it. But actually, the third daughter was then not the biological child. At that moment, she felt that she had nothing, and even collaborated with the eldest son to harm the second daughter, and also snatched away her boyfriend.
Among all the hardships and difficulties, the second daughter still used a normal heart to face all of them, using her love and patience to understand and forgive people. This is because she knew that as long as one’s not calculative, all knots could be untied. Even a broken family can have a reunion too!

It's kinda impossible for Ron to play the youngest son.

So I guess it will be like this:

2nd daughter: Kate
2nd daughter's Bf: Ron
3rd daughter: Toby
4th Son: Him Law
? : Derek

This means Kate is protagonist of the series as the 2nd daughter.

Yeah Ron has confirmed that he will film this series before he will film any mainland series next year. For female casts, I think it is not confirmed whether Kate or Toby will film this one! I think it will be good to change the new female casts!

Hmm.. the actress playing the 2nd daughter must be the kind who is goody goody again.. I read the plot and it is kinda repetitive.. its so similar to HOG/MR.. I hope I can see something different out of this. Its like, I wish that the 2nd daughter isn't so perfect.. that will be great

I think we will know when there is a costume fitting for this drama in January next year! So wait for it to come!!!!! To compare I will prefer Ron with Kate than Ron with Toby!?

I'm rooting for Ron and Kate. They only paired up once in Brink Of Law. Not that I fancy this pairing, but Ron and Toby paired twice: Drive Of Life and Man In Pain

I hope the storyline this time round would be new and refreshing. Honestly, I'm kind of sick of family dramas. BUT, deep down I'm still hoping that TVB makes this a grand one cos I want Ron to shine Argh! I wish they filmed something like RDOV. It was epic!
