- Why is MKMF (Mnet Korean Music Festival) now known as MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards)?
The reason for this change is because the show will now be broadcast via Channel V International, which will send live coverage of the event to China, Japan, Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, Thailand and including Korea.
- How many nomination categories are there?
Apparently there will be a total of 7 categories of artists, 7 categories of genres, and 2 categories of music video nominations during the event. Therefore, there will be a total of 30 awards for each nominated song.
- When will nominations end?
You can currently vote during the 30-day time period and voting ends on 20th November 2009.
- When and where will MAMA be aired?
21st November 2009 7:00pm KST at Seoul Jamsil Stadium.
- Will SM Artistes be banned during the event?
