Well as everyone know that the nomination list is out for the best spporting actor and actress of 09, so I started to make a poll on AF as well.

Listed above are the nominees for the best supporting actors and actress for the TVB 42nd Awards ceremony.

As for me, for the best supporting actor, I would choose Michael Tse as Laughing Gor in "E.U." I thought Michael's character was very memorable as well. I also liked Ron's character in "Rosy Business." When his character first started out he wasn't very smart in helping out with the family business. But as his father passed away, he started helping Sheren (his fourth mom) with the family business.

As for the best supporting actresses, I have quite a few. I liked Linda's character in "The Gem of Life." THis is a breakthrough for her to act this type of character. I also liked Mary's character in "Beyond the Realm of Conscience." In like the first 11 episodes of the series, she suffered so much from the Grand Empress Dowager (Susan Tse). But now she's not suffering anyone because she is the Empress Dowager as well. Ii'm happy for her.

Definitely Susan Tse for supporting actress. As for supporting actor, I'm happy as long as either Michael Tse, Raymond Wong, or Derek Kwok takes the award home.

I voted for Susan Tse and Raymond Wong! These two gave me the most 'wow' factor this year.

Vote for Selena Li and Ron Ng for sure despite the fact that it was Michael Tse and Susan Tse who win for the awards!

I choose Michael Tse and Joyce Tang.

Just like Wayne Lai was the "shoo in" for this award last year, I feel that Michael Tse is in the same position this year. I'm almost 100% sure about this one, especially with Michael's popularity this year...though quite a few actors deserve the award in this category, I have no problems with Michael getting it because he deserves it...he has played many different roles in the many years he's been with TVB and his acting is very solid...

As for supporting actress, I reallly don't have a favorite...I guess this is one of the categories where I don't really care who wins....

I choose Derek Kwok because I think Laughing Gor will be the male chac . Sure that he'll win both, but my choice, I voted for him in male chac.

Supporting actress, I choose Selena Li @ BTROC. So far, I'm only interested in her and Tracy Ip.

I've picked Ron and Elanne for this because Ron really did a good job in EU and RB. As for Elanne, yes, she did a good job in EU too and her acting is considered very good for a newbie.

I don't need to say more on Michelle Yim's acting because she is really a good actress and she had won the best actress last year. However, I liked Elanne's Yau Yau more than Michelle's role in Beyond so I root for the newbie in this category.

I voted for Kenneth Ma (Born Rich) and Linda Chung (Gem of Life). I like their style of acting and the characters they played. Their acting is improving a lot and they are becoming my favorites.

My vote goes to Susan Tse for the female category. I think she did an awesome job in RB and BTROC as well. She's a great actress and gosh! It's about time tvb get someone like her into TVB! Beside Susan, I voted for Susanna Kwan as well. Her first role in an ancient series. I kinda liked the way she played it out. She has a flair with ancient series I would say.

I voted for Pierre Ngo and Kenneth Ma for the male category. I think Pierre did a great job in RB! His role was very memorable and I think this was his breakthrough role.

For supporting actor, I voted for Michael Tse, his acting was really good and his Laughing Gor character is memorable. He's definitely going to win.
For supporting actress, I voted for Nancy Wu, she's a great actress. I hope TVB promotes her more. However, I wouldn't mind if Susan Tse wins because she was scary as the first wife in RB.

and for supporting actress i voted for selina and nancy. tvb should really promote them more because they are definitely great actresses. but i wouldn't if susan tse wins the award because her acting in beyond is really good. i get scared just from looking at her
