Well the nomination list for "My Most Favorite Male/Female Character" award is out. So I decided to start one on AF.

Above is the nomination list for "My Most Favorite Male/Female Character" award for the 2009 Awards Ceremony.

For my most favorite male character award, I would choose Wayne and Michael Tse in their respected series. I really like Chau Gau's character. I thought Wayne's character was very good. I liked how he always said his lines in the series. "How many 10 years does a person has?" Love that line. Or like his line "I'm in the 'fourth mistress' group. I liked those two sayings from him. I also like Michael's character in "E.U." He was an undercover for like 8 years. That's just so long.

As for the my most favorite female character award, I would choose Charmaine in her two series. I really enjoyed watching Charmaine's Lam Miu Miu character in "You're Hired." I thought it was refreshing to see her in this type of role. Also her character as Lau Sam Ho in "Beyond the Realm of Conscience" was nice. As people have said that her role was quite challenging because in the series, mostly everyone was evil, where Charmaine had to portray someone good. Her crying scenes in "Beyond the Realm of Conscience" was very nice as well.

What about you guys?

Let's start voting!

Dayo Wong and Tavia Yeung!!!!! Vote for Dayo because he had done a very great job in performing a comedic character in You're Hired and Tavia Yeung in Beyond as I knew there is a minor opportunity for her to win the Best Actress Award! And I really like her character in Beyond! Evil concubine!

Wong Hei and Sheren Tang!
Musical-Notes
Michael Tse because I really liked his character in E.U. And Dayo Wong because he was so funny and a great actor in You're Hired.

Tavia Yeung because she has a breakthrough role and she's never been evil before. (: And Charmaine in You're Hired because she's so funny. I prefer Charmaine playing funny roles than good roles.

Favorite Male Character was a tough one for me....it was a toss up between Wayne Lai's Chau Gau and Michael Tse's Laughing Gor....both of them were very memorable and excellent characters. I ended up voting for Chau Gau because I'm a Wayne fan...but if I could vote twice, I would definitely vote for both.

As for Female Character, I voted for Sheren Tang. Partly is because I like Sheren over Charmaine (I've never liked Charmaine), but main reason is because "favorite character" to me means most memorable, well-liked, and had lasting impression -- to me, Sheren's character fit that definition...

^^ Song + Laughing Gor. I don't like the character of Chai Gau much, but Wayne acted very well. Mak Tak Song is more attractive character to me.

Female? Lam Miu Miu is the winner. The character of Lam Miu Miu is very cute. Anita's chac in Born Rich is an attractive chac, too.

One choice for female character- Charmaine's Lam Miu Miu totally beats the rest! This is one of the best Charmaine roles ever.

It's a toss up for Dayo and Wayne for me, really love Wayne acting ever since Journey to the West, he's acting is really good ever since he started in TVB. Dayo is excellent in a comedy way, love his acting and how he portrays his roles. Voted for Charmaine and Tavia, Charmaine was nicely match with Dayo and also funny in there while Tavia played the villain role the first time is entertaining.

I voted for Dayo Wong because he was really funny in You're Hired. I also voted for Fala Chan, because she was likeable as Charlie in TSOL (obviously she's not going to win though)

I think it should be Wayne or Laughing Gor! These two are very popular this year!

Female I like Sheren character and Tavia's Kam Ling. Sam Ho is supposed to be likeable but maybe Charmaine doesn't have enough charm and Tavia's character is also harder to act than Sam Ho. Charmaine is better as Lam Mui Mui in Youre Hired.
