OMG OMG OMG...Right now I have to say that I am very furious. Vic and Barbie deserves to be at least nominated. If Mars is not going get nominated, I think I will blow! No offense, but this is so unfair! Everyone can see that Vic and Barbie displayed great performances in Mars. Mars itself is so touching and meaningful. I personally think these judges are blind. It's hands down one of the best dramas I've ever seen, period--the fact that it happens to be a story about young people and therefore have younger actors doesn't mean that it shouldn't be considered for any type of critical recognition.

Truthfully, I don't think this award is that much a bigger deal as people think. I mean, winning awards is NOT a competition about who/which drama is best, we all feel thay 'Mars' is the best drama, that's fine, as long as we feel that way, then that is what's important...even if 'Mars' doesn't win, it still doesn't mean that it's bad, and if it wins, it's not really an act of proving it is the best drama when artists recieve awards, they are honored for their hard work, it's not about who is the best There are many wonderful actors, and great movies/dramas out there which don't win awards or don't even get nominated, but that doesn't mean they are not good So just cheer up guys, it's disappointing that ZZ didn't get nominated, but it's not something we should be depressed about maybe ZZ will get a chance next time

I too felt that unjust was served with the nomination last night, how i was so sure that zai and da s will be nominated for their great performance....it darn obvious thing to us fan and other critic but why the judge could be so oblivious??? Yea...I agree that if Vic and Barbie will be nominated now, ppl will feel that it's rigged or whatever...But hey, I don't oppose to it if they do get nominated. I am just saying that others might raise questioning speculations about it. If this happens, it is entirely the judges or Golden Bell Awards affiliators fault for causing this misunderstanding and uncertainty. Geez...how unprofessional of them. In today's news articles they say that they are splitting the drama category into 2, adding an addition 35 nominees (5 more for each of the7 categories). The new list will be announced next Wednesday.

I read in the fanclub that for the the Best Male Lead category, all 5 original nominees are already a series drama so there's no room for ZZ =( But it seems like Director Cai and Da S (for Say Yes Enterprise or Mars) still have a chance of getting nominated.

On the Golden Bell Awards nominee list, to everyone's surprise Alan Luo (Xiao Zhu) was nominated as the Best Male Lead for his role in "The Outsiders II," but Vic Chou (Zai Zai) and Lan Zheng Leng, who everyone had high expectations for, didn't make the list. Yesterday a judge revealed that Xiao Zhu's undercover cop role was very rich and his character was deep. Lan Zheng Leng's overall performance fell short, his role was at a disadvantage. As for ZZ, "Was never discussed," and his "speech didn't express enough!"

Idol war
The drama categories for the Golden Bell Awards have been put on hold but list that had been announced has caused people in the circle to pay close attention. Later Da S dies from a car accident and he's devastated and also vented out by shaving his head. Many spectators were touched by this scene.

But judges say, "Lan Zheng Long was indeed discussed but perhaps the way his role was presented was a bit different from Xiao Zhu. He didn't have enough layers."

Chou's didn't have enough fire
ZZ has received many praises for "Mars," saying that his acting skills improved greatly. The producer of the drama Angie Cai also praised that he "interpreted really well." However, the judges didn't recognize his role in the drama, where he plays two characters who have mental disorders, and perished it with "wasn't brought out to be discussed at all."

For the drama nomination list for the Golden Bell Awards the committee of judges had all reached a consensus and insisted to have at least one idol drama to encourage the development of idol dramas in Taiwan and walk away from Taiwan's representation. The candidates in the end were Lee Wei, Li Kang Yi, Niu Cheng Ze, and others that acted in "Say Yes Enterprise" and Vic Chou (Zai Zai) and Barbie Hsu (Da S) who acted in "Mars." "Mars" became the biggest lost pearl, losing by one vote.

Judges reveal
"Mars" was adapted from a Japanese manga and was directed by Golden Bell Award winning director Cai Yue Xun. Producer Angie Cai also spent lots of money to send the drama crew over to Japan to film racing scenes. Although after its broadcast the ratings weren't high, it was praised by the world. But they were completely annihilated from the nomination list.

its not just an opinion dear, saying that "VIC DESERVES someone better" is like implying as if she knew who deserves VIC! i was really in a bad mood that time and when i opened this thread, i saw that post which really pissed me more, so annoying, those fans are so selfish, as if they are that great, they tend to act as if they knew much more than vic....

I love VicNB not as my Idol but as actors and as people. I love the work hard that they put into their acting craft. I have never seen Meteor Garden, MARS was my first introduction to them and I fell in love with their performance and I became intrigued by their friendship and then their own love story in real life. I love them as people.

They have passionate fans who love them and are truly loyal fans who respect them as private people and give them great love and respect as they have fallen in love with each other. I have seen some very "mean spirited" things said but the
"Vic deserves someone better..." does bother me... does that mean he needs someone who is prettier and younger? I saw a comment that Barbie was very shallow because having a boyfriend that is cute is important to her(an honest, truthful statement)....I was wondering if Vic was ugly, would his fans love him so much...

And when being interviewed by the Taiwan media, she very gracefully admitted the romance, saying: “Yes, I am in love!” Then she proceeded to praise ZaiZai greatly for being kind-hearted, easy-going, that he’s a man who is not scheming and is totally without guile. Da S said that last year when they worked together in the drama “Mars”, she found that ZaiZai had matured. She also said that their romance has already begun for a month. I am confident that Vic knows what kind of person he wants to be with. Actions speak louder than words....if you look at his previous gf her actions speak so loudly as to why she definitely DID NOT DESERVE Vic. If you watch Barbie's previous bf, his actions show how special and true and desirable Barbie is as a person....this is what VIC saw and wanted from the very beginning of their friendship. They are both very special individuals...they are honest, have pure hearts when it comes to love and they are very funny, romantic and very smart people. Together they are going to make a dynamic team...they will have a wonderful future because they share many things in common. The greatest being that they TRUST each other. To find someone you can trust and cherish in the business their in is a very, very awesome discovery.

You can criticize them, VicNB already know what they have to face.
Their love for each other gives them courage. For me, I am praying for them because I love them both. May God watch over them and help them to grow in their love and help them to stay together in a world ready to eat them up and spit them out when they get tired of them.
