OMG...I really really wish that producer Angie Chai will be able to buy the rights to the manga, 'NANA'. It would be awesome if Barbie could be one of the leading ladies. I really want her to be the 'punk' girl. It would be a major change from her usual roles. Her acting would be challenged and regarded with more versatility. The awarding ceremonies for the Golden Bell Awards and the Golden Horse Awards are sepearated by only a day. Besides the fierce competition between the casting of the show's respective hosts, the invited guests also intentionally chose to attend only one and not the other. The list of artists invited by organizers ETTV (for Golden Bell) and Azio (for Golden Horse) had a very clear demarcation line. The artists also "choosing a side". For example, Lan Zheng Long's TV drama "Huo Xian Ren Wu" is nominated this year for Best Selling Drama as well as the audiences' poll awards (in the Golden Bell Awards), but he chose to attend the Golden Horse Awards ceremony with his leading lady in his movie "The Lovers", Li Kang Yi.

All the nominees in the Golden Bell Awards' "People's Choice Most Popular Drama" (by poll) are popular idol dramas. But what a coincidence, Da S and her former and present boyfriends Lan Zheng Long and "ZaiZai" Zhou Yu Min will all not attend, using work as their reason, ingeniously avoiding the awkwardness that might come from the possibility of them on the red carpet at the same time.

The call for the Da S-ZaiZai starrer "Mars" to win the award is very high. i kind of guess most of them who did not get nominated that they would not attend. this is quite common in most award in hong kong and taiwan. it is quite sad as most award now day attendence is based apon nomination. it will b sad not to see them walking the red carpet. that is what i look foward to in most award.

ive been watching CCTV and phoenix TV since yesterday for the news and updates of golden bell... and now they won, congrats!!!
