this movie was so annoying i couldn't even finish it. that guy gives the rest of us a bad name and it pissed me off. the girl needs to grow a damn backbone too.

I agree that this movie is dissapointing. Since I am a Lee Dong Gun fan, I was really looking forward to this and it turned out to be boring. It doesn't have any depth and not even funny. I still love them in Sweet 18 though

LDG and HJH look good together. I love LDG to be paired again with her. Hopefully. they'll have a new project soon. If you guys haven't watched their series "sweet 18", I'm highly recommending it. Don't forget to wtach it. Sooooooooooooo nice! For sure you'll enjoy and love it.

for me it was LAME. not even lee dong gun's presence could keep me watching..and i grew tired of han ji hye's cutsie acts

suprised at all the hype over this film in this thread. Good thing I didn't read this before I watched it... or else I'd have been very disappointed. It's not that good a movie. Not terrible, but not great. The 2 main characters kept me interested to watch the whole thing. That's about it really.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who didn't enjoy this movie. I like the pairing of the leads and their chemistry but the movie overall is quite disappointing. I thought that this movie was going nowhere as I watched it but the animation that LDG did is quite sweet and romantic.

the movie was kinda cute and funny love story. i loved the part when LDG sang "and i love you so.." truly for the hopeless romantic....

i just got to see the movie and i personally found the two characters annoying! the guy is such an a--hole and the girl is so stupid that she can't even see what's happening yeah.. the only thing that got me through the movie is LDG's winning smile... sigh

makes you wonder though... a jerk who looks like LDG? hmm... i guess i'd be a stupid Blood type A girl anytime! lol!

yeah, this movie was like . i love HJH and LDG in Sweet 18, and i was hoping that the great chemistry would make a great movie. obviously, i was wrong. however, i don't blame it on them and their interactions. i think it was the plot and characters that they were given. the premise to the movie is already pretty thin (dating solely based on blood type?!) and their characters weren't very sympathetic. LDG was just way too arrogant and HJH way too submissive. there were some good scenes, though. i particularly liked when they went to the movie and the only thing she had to wear was the hanbok. haha. and of course LDG singing?

i havent actually seen this movie yet...but i heard its a MUST SEE movie...i'll be looking forward to it. but honestly...no one has control of their own blood type...and this movie is making it seem like type-B people are all horrible...we'll see about that!!

This movie was cute. =] I love Lee Dong Gun's acting. I was suprise they would be in a movie together. After seeing them in Sweet 18. By the way, that was a good series. =]

My Boy Friend is type B is a really funny movie i have to say i Really enjoyed it. But yeah the guy was pretty a** like. IN the end I really like both character.

The storyline wasn't much but the chemistry between LDG and HJH more than made up for it. Another bonus was the funny and sweet scenes. The elevator aka superman scene and the bus scene was really very sweet. :lol?:And that scene where LDG gets back at HJH's professor for calling her a bimbo was really funny... And not to forget LDG's singing in the movie.

I can't say I like LDG's character. He is such a bastard. And HJH's character was a vulnerable and submissive woman which is kinda boring to watch. But their characters are a stark contrast to the characters they portrayed in sweet 18. And LDG is quite versatile in his acting.

A must watch for all LDG and HJH's fans. It's worth getting thru the lame storyline just for the chemistry between them.

I already seen this one also, I agree with "asalie" the storyline was not great but the fact that lee dong gun and han ji hye are there it already enough for me.

It's a pretty superstitious title. Can't really judge a person based on their blood type. Guess it's a Korean thing...
Couldn't find one likeable character in this movie. Wanted to smack em all!

it wasn't as great as it was hyped up to be. but the 2 actors were sizzling . i loved them in sweet 18. but the plot suckeeeddd so badly.

i downloaded this movie.. but it doesn't have english subtitles.. only korean subtitles... so i can't watch it since i won't understand it.. wot a waste...

It is such a wonderful thing that Lee And HAn was very sweet with each other.They have taht raport in taking some of the sceens.THey look so Bagay!!!as in, sana magkatuluyan na sila!!!!

i had seen this last month and its really good...one of the best korean movie that i had watched... lolx...kinda romatic with a sense of humour. lolx... lee dong gun is so so sweet to han jihye...except i still cant believe that he uses her hand to operate the lift for fear of dirtying his own...||| wad a guy. but i still gotta admit he;s really sweet at times... they had fabulous chemistry thus making the show even better. =D the cousin was cute too...aniway for those who are curious...i like how in the end they sort of admit that blood type actually have nothing to contribute to relationship with the fat guy as an example...though i am an O type too..lolx.

Both of them are sooooo cute together. I think Han Ji Hye is very successful in her comedy acting. She makes me laughed non-stop!! As for LDG, he's really good in acting out a jerk. I'm sure not all B-type guys are like him, but he's certainly a stereotype of those boyfriends that makes me feel that a girl in Han Ji Hye's character deserved better. Hehe

yeah! this movie is very entertaining.. although the guy is such a jerk throughout the show, he managed to salvage by having such excellent chemistry wif the lead gal!

Kloofy.net is an excellent site for downloading subtitles for asian movies. You download the srt file and play it along with the movie and it should load. I use BS player and it automatically loads the file with the movie.

I thought this movie was okay. The leads were both cute and acted great, but I thought the guy's personality was so much of a jerk that I couldn't help but cheer for the other guy. I just wanted to throttle him. It did have its funny moments and I liked the ending though.

I think this couple is really sweet! And I laughed a lot when I saw this movie, because the their characters were so different...I'm not sure that blood type affects personal character or not. But, still, this is good movie~~!

I don't know why, but this movie was so boring to me.
It wasn't even that funny and that annoying guy made the movie even more unbearable to watch.

just finished watching the movie...i was expecting that the movie will be funnier..in fact, i am a bit dissapointed (esp with the storyline which streams sooo steady)...i think the lovestory is just plain (coincident which happened one after another, the conflicts which arise b/w the couple and finally the problems resolved and everybody's happy)...i really diss the part when the guy in Ha-Mi salsa class show up and be Young-bin savior by paying off all Young-bin's debt in return that Young-bin wont seeing Ha-Mi ever again..it occured to me that the director just put that scene thus Ha-Mi will dump Young-bin and it's just totally random..and i reckon that the soundrack songs is not pretty good created..
however, there are some scenes that i find amusing to watch...
1. when Young-bin serenade Ha-Mi a song
2. when Ha-Mi shows up w/ traditional dress
3. the scenes on the car (the first time they're going out and Young-bin says the order of dating which is hands first, then kiss, tits at last)..it's funny when Ha-Mi imagines Young-bin does it..
4. at the elevator..Young-bin stares at Ha-Mi boobs and Ha-Mi thought that Young-bin will do something undescent to her..which what really happen is Young-bin tries to take off the first layer of Ha-Mi outfits so it'll look better rather hideous
5. superman scenes
6. when Young-bin and his dad sleep on the same bed and they both do the exact same thing
7. Young-bin rushed in to Ha-Mi's class and pretends to be gay and accused the teacher for cheated him
8. the web pages (i dont know what it is) made by Young-bin

LDG did a great job portraying Young-bin characters (what an a-hole!)..if i was Ha-Mi, i'd just dump him of the reason he treats me like i'm a piece of crap!!!

A lot of people appear to have greatly enjoyed this movie. I feel that I must have really misunderstood some important concept of the story. I did not find one thing comical about the entire situation. Lee Dong Gun's character in the movie is more than just a jerk, he is downright abusive; emotionaly and spiritualy for Han Ji Hye's as well as the other females'. He has not one single redeeming quality about him; not even at the very end. I believe the film made light of an all too frightening reality. This was the first romantic comedy I had ever seen in which I did not want the female protagonist to get together in the end with her male counterpart, who in my opinion, was actually more of the antagonist of the picture.

I was very disappointed, because I really like Han Ji Hye and wanted very much to see this title. Now that I have found a forum discussing it, I'd greatly like to know what idea I am missing or failing to grasp.

I Love it! some parts yes Lee Dong shows some obnoxious side but he did do some sweet parts for Han Ji to make up for it. it may be a typical Love Story but what make it stand out from the rest is because Lee Dong Gun and Han Ji Hye is in it. Only few artist could make such a cute couple like them.

I find the last part cute. it makes me wanna force them to marry right away.

I think her sister is kinda psycho...I can't believe she washed all her clothes in order to not let her have a date. Can't believe it!! A very mean sister and a little bit mean guy.

I watched parts of Sweet 18 and their chemistry was good. I was looking forward to watching this movie. However it didn't really meet my expectations although over all it's alright. Lee Dong Gun was very convincing at being an arrogant guy! Han Ji-Hye's character for being too forgiving...but atleast she realized it in the end.

Over all this movies is ok... I'd give it a 6 (1 lowest - 10 highest) If you're expecting a deeply profound story...this movie is not for you. But if you're a big LDG fan, this movie is good for a nice drool-fest

one of my friends recommended it and i watched wif my friends together at ehr house. one of them was so pissed that she kept scolding the guy in it cos she tot that he was too much of a jerk. lols. she doesnt kike it though in the end i think that the guy was very nice n sweet. funny movie too and the back part is very touching. the female lead is prettier with short hair. and they oso have a drama together b4 i think the name was My Bride Is 18 sth liddat. tat show was nice too think both of them have great chemistry =)

I bought a DVD of this movie but no time yet to watch this. I hope it's a good one. I bought the tape because I like lee dong gun. he's one of the K-actors that I admire.

I just watched this movie this weekend LOL i had some great laughed and some great time watching this LOL LDG is such a jerk to HJH i felt so sry for her at 1st and HJH looks extremely great here. some part were funny haha LDG and HJH make such a great couple on and off screen =) 2 Thumps up for them
