I'm sure this topic has been discussed before but I'm curious to know who you think Chilam (Kin) loved more in Cold Blood Warm Heart (Tien Dai Nam Yi).. Nadia (Yung Yung) or Jessica (Suert)?


Also, do you think Gallen (Ah Lap) truly loved Jessica (Suert) or did he just want what he couldn't have??

That's a tough one. I think Chilam loved whoever that he was with at the moment. I guess you can say that he loved Jessica more because they were going to get married. But then he also had the whole history with Nadia. Tough call.

I think Gallen did love Jessica, but he was too blind to see what a wonderful person she was and gave in into greed and prosperity by getting with Astrid Chan's character (Grace).

i watched it until 1/2 only. then i left overseas for study. how come? so weird. if a kin with grace, still predictable. anyway, very curious bout the ending. with whom is he finally. i watched the serial solely becoz chilam is in there, lol

Nnadia without doubt. I never had the feeling that his love for Jessica was true.

Ah, this series was so long ago... Anyway, I think Ah Kin loved them both, but he was more willing to be with Suet. Yung Yung was just too much trouble. (At least, that's how I felt.) But alas, Suet's heart was never with him (obviously, lol).

I think Ah Lap really did love her, but love was never really a priority for him. Wealth and power were just too tempting. Too bad...

This is a good topic! I think Chilam also loved whoever he was with at the time, though I could see he and Jessica were much more cuter together than Nnadia with him. Whereas Nnadia probably loves/likes Chilam during the whole series, I think Chilam isn't the same, he probably truely loves Jessica during the time they were together. They had an almost married couple life, with them living together, and almost marrying. I think Chilam and Jess truly love each other until gallen interfere and tries to win Jess back ruining the cute couple.

As for Gallen, I don't know who he truly loves....maybe it's himself lol. I think he says Jessica is the love of his life once, but he didnt really contact her or anything until he knew Chilam is with her. I think he just wanted Jessica back b/c he wants to win over Chilam. Anyhow, I didn't think their relationship is that cute.

I think chilam love both. He love the person he was with at the moment they were together. Gallen is greedy... he married grace for her money. Jessica and gallen did love each other.

in this series Chilam was suppose to end up with Jessica and Nadia with Louis, however cause the series got extended they had to drag out the storyline so eventually Chilam got Nadia. this is the reason that the lovely dovely scenes between Chilam and Jessica seemed so real, they were suppose to get together until the storyline got extended. too bad i wanted Nadia with Louis.

Interesting news....That is too bad....Chilam and Jessica were so cute. It's too bad, I don't think they would collaborate again in future series.

I think chilam more loves jessica, because he were going to get married.
when she died, we can see that chilam were very very sad because he really loves her !

Definitely Nadia! I agree that I felt that Nadia and Chi Lam had more chemistry and if it wasn't for Louis Koo, they might have hooked up a long time ago. I'm not saying that Nadia and Louis weren't cool together but, I preferred Chi Lam @ that time. Yeah...Jessica was happiest w/ Gallen of course and vice versa. It's too bad their relationship ended that way.

Ah Kien was a devoted and faithful man, I think he loved them both...the only thing with Ah Shuet was that he was giving in more cuz she was once hurted by Ah Lap which might suggested that he loved Ah Shuet more but in actuality, Ah Kien was doubtlessly a caring and wholehearted loving man. With Yung Yung, he might not seemed as caring but that is because Yung Yung was an individualistic and more substantial person than Ah Shuet, she didn't need all the assiduity from Ah Kien. I really liked Ah Kien and Yung Yung's relationship, they had a prominent understanding of each other and I thought they made such a great natural looking couple. I was glad they finally got back together at the end although I wished it would had happened sooner. I would love for these two to collaborate again!

Ah Lap was a greedy, accumulative, selfish, and money desirous person but despite those bad marks, I felt his love for Ah Shuet was true.

i agree with Miffy that Kien love whoever he was with at the moment. He's very into the relationship and values it. He loved both Yung Yung & Suet, but at different time. But Suet didnt love Kien as much and she was more dependent on Kien as a friend since she was hurt by Lap. Kien was more protecting toward Suet in the end. Yung Yung, on the other hand, was more independent, and so Chilam & Nnadia are more compatible and make a cuter couple since they understand and care for each other. So in a way, he loves Nnadia in the beginning and near the end after he & Suet broke up...Overall, i think he loves Yung Yung more since it was Yung Yung who he cant live without while he still can move on after Suet died (he was sad, but he still moves on).

Lap truly loved Jessica a lot...he couldnt let go of her after he has the money and he wanted to be with her. He just didnt know how to love her...being rich was more important to him though.

Like everyone else, I think Chi Lam loved whoever he was with. No doubt he was truly in love with Nnadia but when she didn't want to give him a second chance, he had to let go and move on. He did and he loved Jessica when they were going out. When Jessica was gone, Chi Lam once again had to move on. He did and he loved Nnadia and the both of them had Jessica in their hearts.

As for Gallen, I think he loved Jessica. If he wanted something he couldn't have it would be Maggie and not Jessica.

I agree with 60699....if Ah Lap was to want something he couldn't have, it would be Maggie. No matter how he tried, Maggie was never interested in him and after awhile, he just gave up on her whereas for Jessica, he wanted her back. At the end, he was willing to give up everything just to be with Jessica which showed his true love for her.

i guess timing plays a great role to ur question.....i think chilam loved both the equal amount when he was with them...he fell in love...thats all theres to say

I'm not sure if he did really love AH SHUET. Maybe he didn't even know himself. He probably just pitied her... thouhg sometimes I feel that he does love them both.

i would have love to believe that Kin loved Suet more but their relationship was like brother and sister. and he even was willing to sacrifice his life to make sure that Yung Yung was freed (when she was kidnapped by Lap) and to find her and wait for her at the tree where they promised to meet every year. as much as i love Suet, i think Kin and Yung Yung's relationship is more true and romantic.

its so obvious that Ah Lap loved Suet so much. after she died, he went crazy and kidnapped Yung Yung. if only he learned to cherish Suet from the beginning, then they might have a happy ending in the end

I think Chilam loved Nadia first and had a very deep relationship with her. However, when all the events took place, he started in another relationship with Jessica and really loved her too. But at the end, he was with Nadia again because their feelings for each other never really disappeared.

Gallen is just plotting to love Jessica to gain the family's trust and wealth i guess. Revengeful i would say.

i think you are mistaken because Jessica's character is not rich and she does not have any family. i think the one that you are talking about is Grace (i dun know who is the one who acts as her) who is quite pitiful since her feelings were cheated and she has a miscarriage

im watching this series right now
and its really pitiful because i really feel bad for grace... i think chilam character loved nnadia overall ... the whole series ive been rooting for them...he never really lost feelings for her....they overcome so many obstacles and they would finally end up together

i have to agree chilam is competely into the relationship. but i believe chilam was more into nnadia. they understood each other as for chilam and jessica, they both needed someone, since they got their heart brokens respectively. chilam continued his life even with the death of jessica but with nnadia, he was internally broken when gallen kidnapped her.

I think Chilam was definitely into Nnadia more as they had a better understanding of one and another. Jessica was more into Gallen.

well Chilam loved both when he was with them. When Nnadia didnt give him a second chance, he moved on. When he was with Jessica, i believe he trully really loved her with all his heart. but towards the end, after he and Jess have broken up for awhile and when Jess had small mental problems, he lost his love for her at that point and he just pitied her as a friend, you could tell since he wasnt really going crazy when Gallen took her away secretly, but he was going insane when Gallen captured Yung Yung. Overall its obvious he loved Nnadia more..he never really entirely lost his feelings for her. I was so surprised by Chilams reaction towards Jess' death, i thought he wold react more emotionally, guess he really didnt lover her as much

Nnadia, definitely. There's much more understanding and depth in their relationship.

I think Chilam loved Jessica more than Nnadia... they almost got married and when she committed suicide, he cried so hard... also, I'm a little of biased I love Chilam and Jessica's couple.

As for Gallen, he definitely loved Jessica but his priority was more money and power.

One of my favourite TV. Chilam loved both of them. It's hard to say who he loved more. But he was really really sad when Jessica went back to Gallen. So In think Jessica had hurt him more than Nadia.
Gallen definitely loved Jessica, but he did so many things to hurt Jessica. After Jessica died he did everything to revenge.

I had just rewatched the series and I agree that Chilam loved both girls at different times. Although, I dont think either of the girls deserve him. Yung was so mean to him, and ah Suet cheated on him!

I think Ah Lap defintely loved Ah Suet. He was planning on giving up everything to move away with her. And she loved him till the very end.

Definitely Nnadia!! I remember when Gallen kidnapped her, Julian was saying to Adam and Louis that he can't bare to lose her, don't want her to leave him again and don't want anything to happen to her. That was so touching it brought a tear to my eye! If it was'nt for Louis ruining Julian and Nnadia's meeting, Jessica would'nt have got the chance with Julian.
