Description By Me
The Police Nagotiations Cadre is a unit within the Hong Kong police force. Unlike many of its world counterparts, their jobs are part time and voluntary. These officers have to take the job of a police negotiator while having the burden of their regular police schedules on their shoulders. Their job isn't an easy one, but a very satisfying one.

Pang Kwok Tung (Bobby Au-Yeung) and Kan Kit (Kenix Kwok) are both experienced members of the PNC and also have senior positions within the Serious Crime Squad and the SBS (Sex Crimes I believe) respectively. Over the years these two have developed a very sucessful professional and personal relationships. However, with time taken away by PNC their love lives are in serious question.

For the past few years, the force has been on a critical shortage of eligable nagotiators. Therefore the senior officer has decided to lower standards to allow for more registrations for PNC. With this recruitment phase comes Yeung Kwong (Julian Cheung), a carefree and playful person, and Yip Ho Yan (Annie Man), a studious and workaholic. Soon thereafter a love-hate relationship soon develops...

this was a pretty good series

and you especially got to see how bobby's character changes through the series and he realizes that how he treated the people around him was wrong

i find it weird how bobby and kenix paired up though...

Only up to episode 8ish where Bobby and Kenix start to realize something wrong with love life.

this is such a good series.. love Chilam's character =) and Kenix is soo pretty! i love her hairstyle. hehe

Especially with the Chilam and Annie pairing. They look so cute together!!
Bobby's attitude to life shows a lot, because it changes...
And I don't really know why they paired up Bobby and Kenix either...

I know, they were all very good friends. Like knowing that your husband has a affair with someone else isn't bad enough...to make it even worse it has to be your best friend!!!

i was watching the series when it first started playing on tv but then i missed a few episodes because of school. and on the side i'm watching the white flame so i kept getting the two series mixed up. i had to nag my mom to clear it all up for me and she was all like... RAWR.

this serie is kinda good. The first time I listen to the themesong, it's kinda weird but I get use to it now...

Chilam & Annie are the best! hehe

dont like the Kenix & Bobby pairing quite as much but they're alright.

hehe yah i hated the themesong too but it grew on me. i liked the subsong way more.

i love this series!! but i didnt get to watch the ending..

the ending was okay...nothing too great...even though i don't really remember it, maybe that's why...

This series was great! Loved this show especially when Bobby started to change for the better after he was injured. Kenix is reallyyyyyy pretty!

Haha I so agree with you guys that the theme song sucks. When it first started i was like thinking..."Hope the theme song doesn't reflect the quality of the show."

I've only started watching this now for the fourth episode i guess and I really really like Julian in it. He's soooo cute, the way he kept his family background away from his colleagues and the way he was forced into entering PNC. That was funniest. Although i hear complains about him not being very good in this series...it didn't let me down because I was too deep into his humour.

Well on Bobby and Kenix's marriage - I thought, "What a disaster?" Jeez that was the worst thing that could happen to anyone in reality - having to accept that your wife running off with your best friend. It sounded funny but it does happen in reality.

Actually Moses was very patient with wife Kenix but somehow it's just her attitude at times. I find that in this series, they were trying to inflict the blame on to the ladies (Winnie and Kenix) for not understanding the man. Look at Winnie for example...they were showing how her husband cared for her but make her seem as though she was the wrong one - even worst, she was the one who started the affair with Moses and then Kenix, they were always trying to potray her being in control of her husband.

Isn't this some kind of a discrimination towards women?

omg im rewatching this series for the 3rd time now! I never get bored of watching it, some parts might bored me but well, I still luv it! haha, Annie and Chilam are sooo cute in here! Ahhh don't really like Kenix & Bobby pairing, esp. Bobby's character, he was just too cranky in the beginning.
Kenix looks mucho mucho pretty in here, her acting is awesome, she made me cry so much, esp. the part after she saw Winnie and Moses kissing, omg it was sad! Eh and then the kiss was soo frickin fake, so discusting man. That can be the worst kissing scene out of all TVB series!

I've never seen this for dl anywhere Tho I think i've seen the commerial for it once on tv.

I didn't like this serie, a few times I wanted to hit the characters cause they were being dumb.

I also didn't think Mosses Chan's character wasn't too realistic.

In my opinion, it's just that the couples did not understand each other instead of blaming the ladies only. From what I remember in the series, Bobby never really understood that what his wife wanted was to spend time with him. Bobby bought her a lot of things and cared about her, just that what she really wanted was to spend some time with him. There are two ways to look at it: you may blame her for not being supportive of her husband's career, or you may blame her husband for not realizing what his wife wanted even though she tries to hint at it a lot.

I guess it's just that whole lack of communication thing. Then again, the personalities of the couples kind of conflicted in the first place, so the marriages can be said to have been not all that successful.

bit long, but it's pretty good. Chee lam is a good actor !

i like this series so much...i'm rewatching it now.. like the way they negotiate with the victims...oso the first part where annie n chi lam are always fighting wif each other...
but i don like the ending because annie n chi lam got together so fast.

She was a former contestant of MHK and she won the beautiful legs award or something related to that and she joined in 2000.

i think her name is Mandy Lam she also made it into the top 5 for MHK 2000

when i was watchinbg the preview i had really high expectations for this series, but after i watched it i thought it was an okay series. again like i have said before, in this series TVB had a good idea, good characters, but did not know how to make the whole thing good. there were however sum pretty good part in the show and good ideas too, but overall i thought it was just okay.

this series is ok. but I don't like bobby's character. especially in the beginning. I hate him so much. hahaha.. I like the part where bobby finds out his wife and his best friend are together.

bobby was weird, he tinks everyone is wrong and onli he is rite... but luckily he understands later on... this series was good, i liked it alot

what happen at the end i am just watching this now but it takes forever to download.

this series is good. ending is good too. the story about kenix and bobby is okay...not that much chemistry between them..while julian and annie had something going for them which is more interesting.

maybe kenix and bobby's character couldn't have much chemistry...since they're such leaders and mature characters...i would definitely recommend this series...it's interesting to see actors play out all different kinds of professions. very good and thoughtful

This series was very good, Julian was very funny especially the part where he has to try to renegotiate the deal with the suppliers. I think that this series is one of the best that I have in seen in recent years.

I don't think he was able to walk fine again, at least thats what someone told me. I reckon this series was great, but yet again the ending was rushed. I would of liked it to see more of the relationship between yeung kwong and ho yan. And what happened to yeung kwong's dad's business???

This series is very interesting from beginning to the end,and it has good+ funny
ending too.I like Chilam+ anniethe chemistry between them are very interesting

Kenix is a pretty good actor, esp in humorous roles. They should have him more on modern series.

is there really a negotiations dept. in hk police force? but anway, it looks realistic enuf in d show. they all look so stylish!

In last epi, Bobby is able to walk again... with a walking stick! :)
The begining of the show is better, interesting and and cute epi with chilam and annie in the training school, it becames kinda draggy after Bobby is crippled..

The series wasn't bad. But, the ending was not a happy one. Did Bobby remain paralyzed three years later? I think they show him walking with a cane?

Actually, I feel quite funny when I watch police dectective drama. Each show police different kind of specialist. This drama look so faked as we can see all the negotiater is just a part time negotiater. Why don they have full time negotiater as they can focus more on their role rather they have to catch criminal and lead a team like bobby and kenix?

Beside that, how can a criminal department head have so much time to do dual responsibilities? Like Bobby, in one role, he have to lead the team to find the raper and also train new negotiater. By the way, he is also one of the important people in negoitiater team. same to kenix...

the ending to this series was very funny too .. lol

Of the whole series, the most funny part i think is the part about the guy who have iq like a kid with julian cheung and annie man. The most cute part is the part where julian try to convince the guy that annie is his girlfriend.

Yah, the part in the cafeteria, especially the part where he tried to kiss annie.

yeah... there is some part that is really funny. but it's a bit sad that the guy died though... julian and annie were so sad.. especially annie... she was having problem.. and she was about to quit the job... lucky julian's brother helped her but i still dont like his brother though... for what he did. cheated on her... man.. what an *******

Kenix was SO pretty in this series. I loved Annie and Chilam together, they should pair up more often.
