2R is from Singapore but is still affected by the tsunami. "Our family lives in Singapore and hasn't been affected, but our hometown is near Malaysia and Thailand, on an island called Terranganu. Because it's very close to the ocean, every year it floods at the end of the year. This year has been especially severe. I think their singing is okay. However, i like Rosanne more than Race, i think Rosanne is more prettier than Race. I think Race sometime overreact a bit whilst talking and stuff.

Yeah, a bit because they're from like Malaysia, and even their cantonese isn't that great, they still speak it with a bit of an accent (which is why some people don't like them). Also, the trivia part often requires knowing quite a bit of chinese, or a lot about Hong Kong, hard for anyone not from Hong kong. Also the part with the This is so easy...naming stuff to a category, you have to know a variety of chinese phrases. And the worst is where one person has to describe the phrase, because those are almost all Cantonese slang, so 2R has almost no clue.

i coulnet tell them apart the first time i saw them... but i did after a while race looks better than Ro.....

I think Race has a very whinny Cantonese voice and she isn't good at acting (as seen in Four Leafs), but her singing isn't too bad...

isn't that cause mandarin is their first language? but they're learning cantonese to expand into the hong kong market and it's not bad, it's definitely improving, but i think race's cantonese is better than rosanne's though, cause she has bigger/better roles in movies and series

i'd say they're cantonese is pretty good considering that they weren't raised in HK, and i think race is really cute, i thought the way she was talking in HOF was quite cute, i don't think it was whiny, i thought mun mun's speech at the beginning of HOF was really whiny but it was meant to sound like that.. can't get enough of race now after watching HOF

I think Race is much cuter and prettier than Rosanne. But it doesn't mean i don't like Rosanne or anything. I think she is more mature. She is pretty too but not as pretty as Race. I like when Race speaks Cantonese, it's kinda weird but sounds cute to me too.

Their singing is pretty decent imo, are they entering the show biz? cause her performance in Hearts of Fencing is pretty decent for a newcommer, might be a thing to consider though i doubt it.

2R is a replica of Twins except they're actual sisters. Their chinese is so off I don't even know how they can manage to sing. I've heard a few of their songs and immediately I was annoyed by the mispronunciation and accent.

But I guess it's good to have them since they do show the faces of mature, when frowning or showing a serious face, and they are improving on their chinese.

First time i saw them was on Super trio. They look so cute. I thought they were twins at first but not identical twins. But thanks for clearing that up for me.

can i just say its not actually their fault that they cant get the tone right, they had to learn contonese and its not unusual for them to be out of tone, just think about it, i mean try singing in a foreign language, i'd bet you'd be out of tune. People should just give them a try, when their cantonese get better they'll probably sing better

I totally agree. I think most people like Race more, since you see her more, and most of you guys have seen HOF, and everyone likes her character. But keep it in mind that isn't her, she's in role as somebody else.

I think Race is okay, but her acting is sometimes really exaggerated, if you know what i mean - unnatural.
Also, Race talks more in interviews than Rosanne.



Not being out of order or anything. But if they can't sing cantonese very well - which i think they are okay. Then why become a cantonese singer. And not for example become an Taiwanese singer in Taiwan. But then again, that's their decision.

so their accent is more of a Malaysian accent cos they knew how to speak English, Malay, Cantonese and Mandrain...

"Once I had them on the whole day and my eyes were very dry. When I took them out, they were like stuck to my cornea and my eyes were all red right away like a gold fish. I went to the emergency room right away. The doctor used three big bottles of salt water to wash my eyes then wrapped them. At the time I was worried that I would become blind." Race said that when she was little she had thick glasses and people made fun of her as "four eyes". "They even called me an old spinster. Thus contact lenses were the greatest invention."
