o yes it was from a car accident when he was holding onto the four leafed leaves necklace for race he was too happy and then there was a car crash all of a sudden. but yea race ended up with the bigger brother. the rich guy dont know their english names sorry ended up with Natalie Tong. yea i love the song as well.i can sing to it as well without the music lol. im starting to really love on 2R especially Race she has a lot of acting skills. and even thoguht she didnt act all that weel in HOF i think that she was really cute



yes ive watched the movie lol i bascially watched all Race movies but i hated how they had a bunch of other useless actors and actresses in the movie. they should only focus on Race and Ron they had a really cute love storyline . how they fighted on the bus. Race reaction to things were cute. and the way she spoke to her mom made her look really really cute because of the way she tried to look like a kid lol. and then how they ended up together was cute as well as Ron became the manager of the company Race works for. because Race always put Ron down when they had the same job and teased him how he looks dumb and wont get a better job. Ron worked really hard into getting a job as a manager so finally became the manager of Race and they hugged and the way Race cried made me want to cry as well at the end of the story it was really really touching.


yes ive happened to watch this movie as well. lol it was really funny how race had to become evil and ditch rosanne as a close friend . beacuse she eventually finds out that there can only be one princess to become edwin Sui's ( the king) princess. but then at the end Edwin finds out Race is evil so demends her to drink some posinious drink . so when people force her to she runs away and rosanne helps her escape. its a cool movie.

Rossane appears to have stronger voice in lower range.
Race has softer voice in higher range, but doesn't sing as good as Rossane.
I think they sing better in mandarin than in cantonese ...

i think they sound better in madarin too. cause ther cantonese pronunciation is still not that great, they 've improved a lot since the begining though.

o of course all movies get promoted lol. at least before to come out to the theatre but you must be a really big fan of 2R to notice when their new movies will ne released.lol Race had in a total of 4 movies in the year of 2005 if you even relized. one with Ron, one with Yan Ng but dont really know the male actor int he movie and one wiht Rosanne the one we are talking about and the one with Endy Chow!

2R 孖住上

畢竟，2R是對真正的姊妹花，兩人又有個「R」字頭的英文名字，難怪一般人至今依然弄不清誰是Rosanne、誰是Race，只記得樣子比較嬌俏的是妹妹。

跟她們做訪問，不論是家姐Rosanne先答，或是妹妹Race先答，另一個總會在旁加把嘴，然後兩姊妹你一句我一句，嘩啦嘩啦，哈哈哈哈。

也許，正如家姐所說，她們的工作是娛樂，所以自己一定要開心，才能讓別人快樂。

只是，在她們娛樂大家之前，為了圓這個明星夢，從新加坡離鄉別井，來到香港的最初幾年，曾經沒工作沒收入，甚至被迫遷……

那些日子，她們都掉了很多眼淚。

然而，兩人經歷，總好過一人承受，來港這四年多，她們甘苦與共，一起哭、一起笑，至少不用嚐到孤單的滋味，其實，已經很幸運了！

「我們這對組合，一定不會分開了。」家姐肯定地說。

「孖住上才最開心！」妹妹在旁點頭道。

無論意見如何分歧，偶爾爭靚衫爭發言，兩姊妹總是私下泯恩仇。孖住上，是注定了，開講都有話，血濃於水嘛！

聽起來，其實有點像《警訊》裏的「案件重演」。

九八年，還在澳洲讀書的2R，跟父母來香港度假，一時貪玩參加了新城的《一級美少女歌唱大募集》，認識了一名香港人，說要做她們的經理人，捧她們做明星。一家大細考慮了四個月，零零年底，兩姊妹終於放棄學業，離開老家新加坡，來香港發這個明星夢，住進經理人為她們在何文田租下來的一個單位。

搵快錢

還以為這次前途無限，但結果，幾個月下來經理人並沒有安排任何工作，反而露出狐狸尾巴，問她們要不要「搵快錢」，兩姊妹知驚，找父親來港招架，從此，經理人便音訊全無。

家姐：後來我們收到律師信，才知經理人原來幾個月沒有交租，業主要我們七日內搬走！在香港，我們沒家人、沒親戚，突然要搬，真的不知可以搬到去，惟有打電話看看哪裏有房租。當時真的很害怕，覺得自己好冇用，邊執東西邊喊，想返新加坡……

妹妹：後來爹媽咪惟有寄十多萬來交租。之後我們搬到一個三百呎開放式的單位住，裏面只有一張床。

至於跟那經理人的合約，兩姊妹則寄了十多封要求解約的律師信去，最後因為沒回覆，不用為解約賠償。

家姐：講一件事便要寄一封律師信，幾千元一封，很貴呀！

魚蛋米

她們說，零零年至零二年內，她們四出敲模特兒公司和唱片公司的門，幾乎沒有工作、沒有收入，生活只能靠父母每月寄來的三萬元，交了萬多元的租，以及水、電、煤的費用後，剩下來的，兩姊妹只能節衣縮食，生活相當迷惘。

妹妹：那時候哭了很多次，常常打給爹媽咪說很想返新加坡，但他們卻說，反正也試過音，也學會獨立了，已經叻，我們繼續試試看。

皇天不負有心人，最終輾轉也得到環球唱片賞識——雖然生活費仍得繼續靠爹資助。曾經被傳媒拍下她們買七元的菜當晚飯，甚至乎一日三餐只吃魚蛋米。

家姐：我到現在也有點嬲，那時常被傳媒說我們慳！

妹妹：我們又不是帶幾千萬來，而是真的沒有錢，不能不慳呀！吃魚蛋米，一來是因為我們真的喜歡吃，二來也是因為沒錢。

家姐：那時爹媽咪為了我們，花了很多錢，爹本來有四間晒相店，但因為要寄錢給我們，又遇上沙士，最後也關了其中一間。

妹妹：爹的店都在遊客區，沙士時期真的沒有遊客，沒有生意呀！所以真的很慘！

安全感

2R正式出道至今近兩年，出過唱片、拍過廣告，也拍過電影，收入好了，連帶生活也得到改善，零三年，她們便由灣仔搬到現在道，一個月租三萬的單位居住。有報道說，她們這年多來，賺了近二百萬元。

家姐：二百萬就沒有，但生活總算比以前好。

妹妹：至少不用再問爹媽咪錢，可以自己付屋租和生活費。我們也有寄錢給雙親，但給多一點他們也不要，還說只是替我們儲錢，根本不用我們養。

家姐：寄錢給他們，其實也不可以說是還錢，只能當作家用，還也還不到呀，他們從小到大供養我們，父母的愛根本還不到！我們現在把賺到的錢也存入一個聯名戶口，信用卡也是同一個戶口。

同根生

這些年來，兩姊妹離鄉別井留在香港，當家姐的惟有身兼父母職責，看妹妹。

妹妹：家姐真的很大壓力！

家姐：其實可以說是互相照應吧！我們拍廣告或是拍電影有可能分開，但唱歌就一定不會分開了。妹妹有時拍戲想起家姐，便會用SMS跟我聯絡。現在幾好呀，大家一起經歷同一些事情，起碼妹妹開心不開心，我也知道是甚麼原因。

妹妹：孖住一齊最開心！但因為工作常常一起，所以我們回到家其實並沒有話說，很悶！哈哈！

家姐：但如果兩、三天沒見面，我們又會有很多偈傾喎……

妹妹：係呀，係呀！有次我要拍戲，她返新加坡，然後再一起去馬來西亞宣傳，整個車程一個鐘頭，我們就不停地傾偈，連助手也忍不住伸個頭在我們中間話：『你傾夠未呀！』哈哈……

2R中，家姐Rosanne黃婉君，廿五歲；妹妹Race黃婉伶，廿二歲。兩姊妹於馬來西亞出生，後來隨父母移居新加坡，平日私底下多以普通話和英語交談。兩人還有一個妹妹，年齡跟Race也是相差三年，現於美國留學。

妹妹：以前我們在新加坡時，感情已經十分要好了。

死好命

家姐：那時候我們讀同一間學校，朋友全部都認識。如果有拗撬的話，吃晚飯時，爹一見到我們面黑黑，三個都會被打！最小的妹妹跟我一樣，都很喜歡照顧別人。爹明顯最錫是Race，放工回來，我和細細妹都要斟茶、拿拖鞋，而Race就命好，只需要在爹身邊看電視……

妹妹：梗係唔係啦！家姐以前曳，所以咪話我Lucky囉！

家姐：其實以前我並不知道妹妹喜歡甚麼顏色、甚麼食物，現在我都很清楚。

妹妹：來港後，因為常常有傳媒給我們做心理測驗，所以更加了解對方。家姐是個很細心的人，常常為人想，反而很少理自己的事。

家姐：妹妹很大懵，對於任何景物的記憶都很差。

妹妹：對呀，對呀！人名、路名、地方，我常常都會忘記！哈哈……

家姐、妹妹

大概，這就是家姐和妹妹的分別吧！在訪問開始時，兩姊妹甫坐下來，妹妹Race看到筆者放在桌上的一些資料，便好奇地問：「可以看一下嗎？」然後便不停翻閱那些資料。

反之，家姐Rosanne卻一副有備而來的樣子，氣定神閒開始回答筆者問題。

她們二人，似乎也很清楚自己在訪問中的角色：家姐負責做發言人，妹妹則負責補充、和應，以及搞笑。

遇緋聞這類敏感話題，家姐也會搶回答︰

「其實我們每天都和不同的朋友食飯，那天咁影到（緋聞男友）Anthony和Derek……

以前都傳過張敬軒、余文樂同陳冠希啦，個個都有發展機會。」

唯獨最叫筆者依然感到有點肉麻的，是她們稱對方做「妹妹」和「家姐」，

有家姐和妹妹的，應該很久也沒有這樣稱呼自己的姊妹吧！

【明報專訊】記者採訪當天所見，「2R(相關新聞 - 網站)」打乒乓球頭頭是道，尤其是妹妹Race開球和殺球都甚有水準，殺起球來絕不留手，有幾下更令家姐Rosanne招架不來，風格也較鬼馬。而Rosanne 的打法比較斯文，球路飄忽。所以經過長久戰後，Rosanne明顯較妹妹夠韌力，Race連番抽擊後呈現乏力，姐姐反攻時勁度十足，Race立即處於下風。

孖公仔來自高球世家

雖然2R打乒乓球有姿勢有實際，但原來兩人來自高爾夫球世家，家姐Rosanne表示爸爸是高球高手，她和妹妹在新加坡自少便跟隨父親打Golf，幼時對這項運動十分鍾情。但來到香港後，連高爾夫球的球棍都沒有「掂」過，相信現在的技術已變得很差勁。另一個令2R「棄高從乒」的原因是為了保持白嫩皮膚，因為打高爾夫球很容易把皮膚曬黑。


明報專訊】當今樂壇其中一對最佳拍檔「2R(相關新聞 - 網站)」黃婉伶（Race）及黃婉君（Rosanne），自入行一天起就要面對做藝人的起起落落，失意時甚至閃過退出娛樂圈的念頭。她們能夠堅持在這個競爭激烈的圈子奮鬥，原來全靠從打乒乓球中學習「孖寶」精神。

愛乒乓皆因孖寶揚威

周末若然沒有工作，「2R」通常會選擇做運動出一身汗，尤其愛打羽毛球和乒乓球，減肥同時減壓。「2R」的細妹Race透露原本她們只愛玩羽毛球，自從看了香港乒乓孖寶高禮澤和李靜揚威奧運後，就對乒乓球產生興趣，並找來姐姐Rosanne作伴，到君豪會大過「乓球癮」。平時工作、逛街已是孖公仔的「2R」，很快便一起愛上這項運動。

別以為「2R」是初哥，打球技術必定一般，實情是兩人似模似樣，切磋時球來球往好不激烈。

佩服運動員耐力鬥志

休息時候，她們還大談乒乓理論。Rosanne說，打波不只是一種運動，也可訓練耐力和鬥志﹕「我很佩服運動員，他們的意志十分堅定，也十分有自信和恆心，對自己要求高，不怕艱苦磨練，我也想自己擁有運動員的意志。」

Rosanne坦言做藝人要面對事業起落，像她們半年不在香港 ，就會被指知名度下滑，如果因此意志消沉，就很容易會有退出娛樂圈的念頭。Rosanne說﹕「好在我們也有運動員精神，就是不容易放棄。」

最大目標紅館開個唱

Race在旁也和應﹕「是呀，我和姐姐都希望在娛樂圈得到成就，我們要有乒乓孖寶的精神，相信只要努力裝備好自己，也會像乒乓孖寶一樣終有出頭天，我們希望有一首，甚至不只一首，最少有幾首街知巷聞的歌曲，並在紅館開個唱。」




Rosanne練跑

肖狗的2R成員 Race，在新一年希望繼續努力工作，身體健康。Rosanne最近練跑，本打算參加農曆年馬拉松，可惜因有工作未能參賽，談及早前練跑時，突然有陌生人跟著她一起跑，嚇得她立即拔腿而逃。問到緋聞男友陳冠希有否陪跑？她立即撒嬌說，不要說這些，彼此只是朋友。至於有沒有發展的機會？她坦言只要是男仔都不排除有發展的機會。


在年初三「赤口」，傳統習俗家家戶戶都不會拜年。大家今年唔想呆坐家中，或者可以選擇到沙田車公廟拜神、轉風車，祈求年年行好運。對於過去一年的發展， 2R認為不過不失，家姐Rosanne嘗試到外地拍劇，但她們希望06事業大躍進，就趁新年到車公廟，希望今年的唱歌事業大旺，最好就在年尾有份踏足頒獎台，到金曲獎項。 ＜採訪＞謝慧玲＜攝影＞孫華中
　2R本身沒有宗教信仰，以往在新加坡，要是那年犯太歲，信奉觀音的黃媽媽亦會帶女兒到太歲廟拜神，所以還是首次來到車公廟的2R，對拜神一點也不陌生，妹妹Race更說：「拜得神多自有神庇佑。」她們揀選風車更是相當認真，「步步高陞、風調雨順、旗開得勝……」最緊要好意頭。想得到車公保佑甚麼？2R認真地說：「我唔心急，希望循序漸進，唱歌方面最緊要有進步，最好就到金曲獎啦！（點解只求事業，不求愛情？）我唔想辜負家人對我期望，佢經已畀百分百支持。」
Rosanne繼續行桃花運
　05年，Rosanne桃花運當旺，與陳冠希屢傳緋聞，但她強調今年也要繼續行桃花運，不過則補充說：「呢行需要有桃花運，因為唔單只代表愛情，仲包括人緣。（咁你係咪揀定？）冇呀？咪揀定囉，揀左事業啦！」兩姊妹入到廟內拜神，繼而添香油，為家人作福，Rosanne說：「第一要身體健康，心想事成，事事順利。（記者打蛇隨棍上，追問：『咁姻緣呢？』）心想事成已經包括好多啦，夠啦！」
　談到感情事，Race說：「入行之後就少追求者，讀書時，我同家姐成日收到男同學送禮物，依家好多人以為我大把人追，仲使乜追，所以我冇心上人約。」想追求2R的人有福了！肖狗的Race得知，肖兔的人會旺她，即說：「咁我咪要搵番個屬兔朋友，但我身邊無人屬兔喎，不過呢都係隨緣啦！」

2R與關智斌（Kenny）同獲港台「Teen Power」委任為「無煙達人」，前晚出席港台「Teen Power Freshmen」總決賽，兩人坦言選男友的先決條件不能是煙民，但如果對方肯為自己戒煙則可以接受。

除2R與Kenny外，前晚出席活動的歌手包括張敬軒、王菀之及方大同，鄧萃雯擔任評判選Web J。2R坦言選男友一定不可以吸煙，除非對方願意戒煙：「如果佢肯為我戒煙，我咪好偉大囉！」Rosanne表示11歲時，爹已經讓她嘗試吸煙：「佢唔想我出面試，當時我不斷咁咳，覺得好苦同好臭！」Race透露初來港時，朋友教她吸煙減肥：「我有諗過試，但係食第一啖就咳到死，如果為減肥而食煙係唔 ，亦都好唔健康。」

2R在活動上頒獎予不吸煙的得獎者。兩人自誇找她們成為無煙大使最適合不過了，因為她們最反對吸煙，而擇偶首要條件也是不能吸煙，所以從沒有跟煙剷拍拖，除非對方肯為她們戒煙才會有發展機會。

姐姐Rosanne表示，在廿一歲的時候，爸爸給她試吸了一口煙，那種難受的感覺至今仍記得；妹妹Race則謂當初由新加坡來港時，有人教她以吸煙來減肥，於是她便吸了一口，結果咳個不停，十分辛苦。

是否想搵幾年快錢便脫離娛圈﹖她們搖頭否認說﹕「金錢是次要，現在是我們的黃金期，趁狀態和樣貌都是最好的時候，努力工作和多作慈善活動，所以稍後我們推出的寫真集，也是為做善事而拍的。」除唱歌之外，她們還想多拍電影，兩姐妹異口同聲表示，最好拍到像日片《在世界中心呼喚愛》那類感人的愛情故事。

2R昨日接受商台節目訪問，兩人表示新年期間返回新加坡，與家人度過一個溫馨的新年，更回到多年來沒到過的家鄉，重見廿年前住過的木屋，細妹Race（黃婉伶）說：「我見到間屋仲好好，以前經常水浸，真係諗唔到仲未爛。」而姐姐Rosanne（黃婉君）回想當年，她是三姊妹中的大姐姐，所以經常要幫家人做家務和照顧妹妹，她謂：「細個住木屋，大個竟然做歌手，感覺好特別！」
　提到快將舉行的金像獎頒獎禮，2R表示看好《海南雞飯》的張艾嘉影后，至於男演員就支持偶像劉德華的《童夢奇緣》。另外，今年2R一家五口，有四人犯太歲或沖太歲，唯一沒有犯太歲是父親，所以昨早他們一齊攝太歲，祈求一切順利。

well, there're a lot of translation ... but basically, the most interesting part is how they got to show-biz in the first place: They attended a singing contest for fun in 1998, and got the third prize. There was a manager who showed interest in them and made them an offer. The 2 girls had spent 4 months in Australia to decide whether they wanted to quit school or not. They had discussed with their parents and finally wanted a tryout for their dream. But unfortunately, they signed with that manager who had planned nothing for them and cheated them with "quick money" opportunity. The girls were so afraid and asked their dad to come to HK to fend off the manager, who disappeared afterward. The 2 girls ended up being forced to move around in HK looking for place to live, while they had spent thousands of dollars in attorney fees in order to break up the contract with the manager. Finally, they broke off but they were in debt, so their parents sent money to support the girls. They thought about going back to Singapore, but their parents told them there's no way back, since the girls were in HK already. They were knocking on doors essentially looking for modeling jobs, and they got it... At the end, a UMG manager recommended them to his company, and that's how it got started.

yea i actually heard of a live interview of them saying that i feel reallly bad for them. i also heard that the first company they found said that they will only promote Race and them being such close sisters said they will find another company awwwwwwwwwwwww

Anyway, their new song sounds a bit slow to me. I actually like some of their old songs, especially those fast & funky songs. Anyone has a different opinion ?

lol ive always loved 2R for their mature, soft and light voices that goes along with their soft songs like the together song. and te fourth song of their revolution album when they sing funky songs their voice the light and soft musical voices tend to change inot more of a tough and wannabeish voice . i prefer them in slow songs sorry bout that.

I didn't say I like it or not. I was saying it is an ordinary R&B song.
And I like those fast songs with "rich" music intruments in it.....
I think the new song demostrates they are better singers now.

Finally watched China's Top Princess last night ....... I found out Race pretty funny and well-act in the movie. I think she will be one of the greats along with Cecilia Cheung for years to come. Rossane is very cute in the movie. I love her. No one is cutier than her. I especially love the scene where the sisters kiss each other under water. Very touchy ... The movie seems like was filmed in mid 2004. Their cantonese not as fluent as in the movie Abnormal Beauty. But it is a good movie, at least my mom likes it.

Hello! I'm new here from Singapore. But a great fan of 2R! Been very supportive of their music, movies and shows they acted in. Have watch all of their movies and found them really great! oh yup The china next top princess movie they acted in the year 2005 and it was shown in Hong Kong on 2005-11-26. Race have a new movie called cocktal if you guys are able to watch the movie, you should! Is really nice, a great movie plot.

Hello, if you watch the castings at the end of the movie "China's Next Top Princess", it shows that the film was produced in 2004......... which I think is true because Rosanne appeared to be thinner in 2004, as in the movie. But in 2005, she had a different look, & more fluent in cantonese.

yes in fact it was pretty cute with them kissing each other in the water how they ended and understood bout life again but one question did they die didnt really get the ending of it. and everyone thoguht it was produced in 2005 but on internet i saw pics of them in those suits in year of 2004 lol. but saying them are more fluent in 2005 is weird cause the abnormal beauty was out in 2004 and they were pretty fluent in it.

Ah ... yes, Abnormal Beauty was filmed in June 2004 in Thailand. But then I believe Top Princess was filmed in early 2004 .... possibly in 2003 ??? By looking at their summer outfit and Rosanne's appearance in the movie when comparing with her photo archive in road shows, I think Top Princess was filmed in mid 2003. That was the year when Rosanne was the most cutie.

And I hadn't heard the movie's theme song until I saw the movie ... Will it be in the upcoming album ?

I've check online indeed the china next top princess was film in the year 2004. It was after abnormal beauty... When they were filming the china next top, they celebrated Race birthday together. So i deduced they started filming during september.

Here's my take:

Top Princess was filmed in late summer 2003, produced in early 2004.
Abnormal Beauty was filmed in June 2004, produced in November 2004.

Somehow, AB was aired first in theatre.

By the way, I really want to watch Shanghai TV series "If the sky has moon"

Is 2R popular in Singapore ? more popular than Twins ?

Well sad to say 2R is not as popuar as Twins in Singapore no doubt Singapore is their hometown. Well reason being is because, 2R doesn't come to come to Singapore to promote their album, besides Singapore does not show their movies and promote their music here. Not many Singaporeans know how to speak cantonese and listen to cantonese song. Twins have a mandarin album and they came Singapore to promote their album and Singapore do air their movies here. So Twins are rather popular here in Singapore. But well the fans of 2R from Singapore will still try and help to promote them here! Rosanne & Race Rocks!

Nice to meet you too! We are all 2R fans and should support our idols.
I know it is sad to hear that 2R isn't as popular as Twins.
But the fact that 2R mandarin speaking is way better than Twins.
I watched Taiwan's Big Brother Show on TV, and in one show ...Twins were being teased on how bad their mandarin really were. And all the guests tried to speak Cantonese to tease them more ... I felt kinda insult to them.... However, whenever there're singaporean pop stars visit Taiwan, they are more welcome by the people. So I believe 2R has an edge over Twins in Mandarin audience.

HK music market is so small when compared with Taiwan & Mainland.
I think 2R should follow another Singaporean female singer's footstep (Sun Yin Zhi),
try to conquer the Mandarin audience first.
2R should sing more Mandarin songs and should tackle Taiwan & China market instead.

Well, I disagree... Rosanne can really sing ... Race however needs to improve her upper range of her vocal. Her voice is too soft compared to Rosanne. Some of the Cantonese songs do not sound too suitable for them. They should sing something similar to S.H.E. ...... or something really R&B ... and try to sell their pretty images instead. They are the best looking female group up to now.

hmm yeah I agree Rosanne is indeed better. Prefer Rosanne too! But well 2R still prefers to have their music industry in Hong Kong... They don't have the intention to penetrate the Chinese market. Rather sad thou.

I think it is UMG's decision to have them stay in HK. It is really hard for them to compete with the local group like Twins. Many Taiwan groups like S.H.E. , Energy, 5566 ... they don't go to HK at all. I think Alan Tam controls so many things within UMG ... that makes a lot of young stars like Hins Cheung, Ivana, 2R ... have fewer chances to promote themselves. I would say 2R might be more successful in other record companies.

its soooo true it will be harder for them to go to the mandarin market then to stay at cantoneses market lol as there is only twins but mandarin there is for, she and 5566 and the female version of F4 lol. so yea i think they should stay where they are now. they will suceed one day.

Hmm Well anyway I think 2R is getting more and more popular in HK. Almost every other day, there will be newspapers reporting about them. Many magazines have ask them to be their cover girl! Lots of magazines have ireported about them.. Right now what we fans have to do is to wait patiently for their new album! Can't wait for it man!

I believe 2R stays in HK because they want to shoot HK movies .....

Yea, i havent heard of 2R for a long time and i didnt see them at any music award things last year.........

they did go to some award but dindt win much awards only one for one of their fast songs as they focused in acting more and i will post some of their pic at awrd cermony. and yes i piosted one of htier new songs here if you guys didnt get it i will upload it again at this site cause i dont thinkt he site works anymore. and yea they are releasing a new album somewhere in this year at march or april
