Moses said "I appreciate the way each cafe processes their coffee, from the way they blend the coffee to pouring it in a cup. Each cup of coffee has different flavors, such as sweet, sour, bitter or chocolate taste, and each flavor has been processed with hard work. In fact, my knowledge of coffee started from zero. I was a teenager in Australia when I had my first cup of coffee. A friend of mine put a cup of expresso in front of me, telling me that was a very strong cup of coffee, drink it like a man. I poured it into my throat straight away, and it was absolutely bitter! After that, I drank a lot of expresso to show that I am a man. I also tried different types of coffee, but I was not a coffee lover at that time yet. Until someone suggested to me not adding any sugar in my coffee, than I started to appreciate the real taste of coffee. I even looked it up in the internet to find out more about it. I discussed with some coffee expert, trying to understand more about coffee. I can say I am a coffee collector now; I have different coffee machines and blenders in my kitchen. 3000 Fans stood in line for 6 hours to wait for Moses Chan, Charmaine Sheh and Sonjia Kwok!

4 Famous TVB stars Moses Chan, Charmaine Sheh, Michael Tse and Sonjia Kwok arrived in Singapore's Oriental Scorpio to promote for TVB series.

Besides Michael Tse who arrived in Singapore today (7/20), the other 3 artists landed in Singapore yesterday afternoon to meet with Fans at the Bugis Junction.

This is the first time these TVB artists came to Singapore as Big Brothers and Sisters, they are quite charming. At the Bugis Junction a "TVB Stars Meets You 2009" (無線群星與您同行2009) was held, where the 4 artists signed autographs and met up with Fans. They attracted 3000 fans. Six hours before the event started, Fans already arrived at the location at 12pm to get all the "Golden" seats. They waited for their Idols for 6 hours!

Within the group of fans, the local Charmaine Sheh fans was afraid to "lose", approximately 10 of them occupied the first row right in front of the stage and held up their "Sheh Sheh" signs supporting their idol!

At the event, the organizers sent out 6 secruity guards to keep the area in order. Once the Idols appeared, the Fans rushed over bumping each other!

Moonlight duo: Chan and Kwan posing for a photograph at the Oxo Cafelab in Bayan Lepas, Penang yesterday to promote critically acclaimed TVB drama series ‘Moonlight Resonance’.

GEORGE TOWN: Hong Kong TVB drama star Moses Chan is looking forward to starring in the upcoming action-packed drama Heaven and Earth where he will showcase both his prowess in martial arts and his love for music.


Chan said the drama series, produced by K.Y. Chik, would touch base with viewers as it evolves around Hong Kong’s underworld of triads and gambling, stock markets, politics, love and relationship entanglements.


He also had to shed about 15kg for the role and had to undergo training in Thai kickboxing for his role in the new series which will be aired next month.

“I had to practise kickboxing for one to one and a half hours daily. Apart from that, I taught myself to play the guitar, which is a requirement in the series. That is not a problem for me as I love music including jazz, classical and rock.


“In this new series, I portray a different role from my other role as Ah Ka in Moonlight Resonance. This time, I play a sophisticated and street-wise good guy,” Chan said in an interview at the Oxo Cafelab in Bayan Baru yesterday.

Chan was in Penang for two days to promote the award-winning and critically-acclaimed 2008 grand production drama by Hong Kong Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) called “Moonlight Resonance” with his co-star Suzanna Kwan.

The final episode of Moonlight Resonance had garnered an average of 47 rating points, outperforming its predecessor series, “Heart of Greed”.

In Moonlight Resonance, Chan played the role of Wing Ka, the eldest son of Gam Tai Cho (Ha Yu) and his wife Chung Siu Hor (Louise Lee) who are co-owners of Moonlight Bakery.

Kwan played the role of Salina Chung Siu Sa.

“The series spins a tale of family relationships and values. The message in the story is that family relationships come first,” said Chan.

Chan said Moonlight Resonance is currently the highest-rated TVB series ever.

This drama also won coveted awards at the 18th TVB Anniversary Awards including Best Drama, Best Actor and Actress in a Leading Role and Best Actress in a Supporting Role.

Moonlight Resonance is an indirect sequel to 2007’s award winning series, Heart of Greed.

The series is written and edited by Cheung Wah Biu and Sit Ga Wah.

It premiered on July 28, last year.

On the 13th September 2009 they held an autograph session located in Sydney. Sussex Centre. It was from 2- 3pm and approximately 120 fans got to get autographs.
