Actually, I think this is because Ray-Li Qian fans are either living in China or just not as 'vocalized' about their support as most other Ray-insertchoiceofactresshere fan. I mean, most Ray-LiQian fans I know are Chinese.

I'm sure there are lots of ppl that was routing for Yuk Chi in tob with Kau Chong. The reason it seems that more for Tavia are bc I think the fans were not satisfied with the ending so they won't stop complaining and saying how great those 2 looks while for Yuk Chi side, we're happy that Kau Chong choose her, so most of us , usually don't put much comments about that. Just my opinion though.

Why is there so many competition between Kau Jong/Sau Ning and Kau Jong/Yuk Chi all of a sudden? He chose Yuk Chi, what is there possibly to argue about? Can't we just move on? Let's not get hostile, please! I mean, we can argue to death who Kau Jong should pick _______ but in the end, he chose Yuk Chi, end of discussion. You may not agree with his decision because you think ______. But what is there to fight about, especially over something that has been set and cannot be changed? Can't we all get along? I agree. This series is over a long time ago!!! And still many of KJ/SN fans are not accepting the fact that KJ chose YUK CHI. Do they think that if they win the poll or get more suppoters they will change the reality???

TOB is one of my favorite movie.. i the parts where kau chong try to conquer cities, but the things i hate the most about this movie is that they know that they going to die and they still let the prince kill them... if that was me, i will kill the prince and try to become emperor...kaka...
I did not really like Raymond's character, he was so stubborn and anoying. I think his romance with sau ling was good but the ending was a great big mess!!!

I saw above that someone was unhappy about not enough support for Yuk Chi and Kau Chong... and I admit I was somewhat disheartened to see that there was a topic solely for Sau Ling and Kau Chong and not one for Yuk Chi and Kau Chong... but then I realised, the reason is that SL/KC fans need to express their support... because well, who was it that ended up together in the series, in the book... okay maybe not ENDED UP together, but who did KC love the best? We all know, we all saw the ending...
Don't get me wrong, but I think SL is a good person... and I feel sorry for her. But well I started going for a YC/KC match during the series.

I just watched and finished the serie not long ago. At the very beginning I wanted ray with leila becasue i watched the doctor serie before this where ray and leila were paired up. i thought they looked really cute together. however, from the theme song, it didn't take much to make me realize that leila is going to end up with ron. i was okay with that. then i wanted ray with tavia.
that definitely changed. i thought li qian was very annoying as a character when she first appeared. however, as the story progressed, i began to love her character. the lack of beauty li qian has compared to tavia she made up with her personality. however, the more i look at her, the more cuter she seems to get until i begin to think that she's the most beautiful actress in the serie.
as for tavia's character, she was awfully boring. i couldn't stand it when she's with ray. ray's character is humorous and charmistic, but he becomes dull and boring whenever he's with tavia.
i love every moment of ray and qian.

completely trusting a friend is very different to completely trusting ur lover/potential lover. all rationality goes out the window when it comes to love doesn't it? all females develop insecurities whether justified or not. so i guess even tho it seems out of character for yuk chi, i can understand why it occurred.
and the point about sau ling's character - i'd hafta agree with u, it seems a bit improper for au ling to fall into another man's arms straight after her hubby died. but i guess it's to prove the point she never really loved her husband isn't it? like all along she's love Kau chong. besides, TVB has never been able to represent any historical stuff with accuracy anyways

Well well... I'm a KC/SN fan and I'm not here to bash or something... I just wanted to COMMENT on BoomBoom's post. I really don't agree with you (and some others) about that "Falling into the arms of another guy after ur hubby died"... She didn't do that because she wanted to steal Mr. KC NOOO!!! She was just very unhappy on that moment and what "normal" people would do is comforting that person, so thatz what KC did... it wasn't love or cheating, it was comforting an unhappy person (doh what would you do? Tell him/her to go to hell?) Would you guys be happier if KC pushed her away? Well that would be so cruel of you if you really think so!
And maybe she didn't love her husband, but she felt safe by him, he loved her for 100%. She wasn't sure about her position in KC's heart. Does KC love her with his whole heart? No, he realized that later on and what IF SN was with him and he found out that he loves YC? "SauNing I want to break up because I realize I like YC more" That would make ppl pity SN...

That's true, if it's just Ron and Leila, I don't think I'll be interested in watching TOB2. I like them but I've to admit they were sorta boring to watch in TOB.
And plus the ending of TOB, it's hard to talk about part 2 unless a totally different storyline with all new character. But then, I'll miss Kau Chong and Yuk Chi. I think they're the reason why I'm hoping for TOB2..only if they're in it!! Maybe the script writer is brillant enough to put Kau chong character back in..lol...that would be interesting to see.

I love how Kau Chong would rather go to war than hurt Yuk Chi. I love how Kau Chong would rather lie to Yuk Chi and keep his pain inside than to let her know that he was going to die. This relationship goes both ways, and that's why I love it so much. Their timing to fall for the other was perfect.
On first glance, Zhi Ling and Fei Huan may be boring. In face, I have heard a lot of fans say they want Zhi Ling and Wan Wan. LOLZ, acutally I like both pairings. In the beginning, I thought Zhi Ling was wasting his time. She was a virgin saint like figure and so she could never return his love even if she wanted to. However, I still loved their simple scenes together. Their many times of chat slowly accumulated into a relationship that depended on each other. You'd have to be patient to truly enjoy and see this relationship manifest. But they are truly sweet and romantic!

' Anyway, I'm not here to bomb people who like Kau Chong with Sau Ling. In fact, I also like that pairing. It was just their destiny to not be together; what a corny statement! When they wanted to be together, their roles and responsbilities in life won't let them. And when they finally could be together, one of their hearts had already changed. But enough about them...
Kau Chong and Yuk Chi kept ToB okay for me. If it wasn't for them, I would have stopped ages ago. I love the way they kid and bicker around for 99.9999% of their scene times together. I love how Yuk Chi kept her love hidden from Kau Chong and helped him woo Sau Ling. I love how Yuk Chi would sacrifice everything so that Kau Chong is okay. I love how Kau Chong would rather go to war than hurt Yuk Chi. I love how Kau Chong would rather lie to Yuk Chi and keep his pain inside than to let her know that he was going to die. This relationship goes both ways, and that's why I love it so much. Their timing to fall for the other was perfect.
On first glance, Zhi Ling and Fei Huan may be boring. In face, I have heard a lot of fans say they want Zhi Ling and Wan Wan. LOLZ, acutally I like both pairings. Hey missy, I totally agreed with u . Maybe we should be friends or buddies. I love yuk chi and Kau chong together. They went through too much pain together and kau chong developed feelings for her and this i think is true love not Like kau chong and sau ling. he only likes her at first sight because she's pretty. Yuk chi and Kau chong have so much chemistry. and i also like the scenes when they're together. It's so romanctic and touching !!!!!!! so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

alicechen Hi. I'm not sure if you're referring to me since my name is not missy but anywho, I will just assume you're talking to me since you quoted my post! And sure, we could be buddies. (If you were referring to me of course, lolz) In fact I could talk about Yuk Chi and Kau Jong all day and all night. Even though it's been like last September since I've seen TOB, I am still such a big fan of KJ/YC that it can be scary at times.
LaMissyIt's not that we don't care about Zhi Ling and Fei Huan, but it can't really be helped if their fans don't come in.
I'm not really into them so I guess I couldn't help. But I thank you for trying to drag them back in. I hope others don't feel that we've intentionally neglected them. That is totally not the case.

hey j2tran...if you like kauchong with sauning i suggest you go to our dedicated thread for them. it called "Paring in TOB: sauning and kauchong" don't come in here and express you feeling for sauning and kauchong...im sure yukchi and kauchong's fans wouldn't like that and if the situation was reverse i don't think you would like yukchi and kauchong's fans coming over to sauning and kauchong's thread and express their feeling for their favorite couple rite? so come to our thread and leave your comment (s) in there...i hope to see you in sauning & kauchong's thread really soon...welcome...
