Most of the celebs act very friendly in front of the camera, but which one do you think is actually very mean and arrogant behind it?


I think the minor stars are the oens who really would like a big shot, because they want to "proof" themselves, but the really big stars would have no problems with that because they're already at the top.

My list would be:

Sally Yeh (I saw her once buying stuff. She acted very rude)
Sonija Kwok (obvious...)
Charmaine Sheh (all the rumors..)

Oh. and I think Ruby Lin is one of those arrogant persons too. No matter how sweet she looks.

liza wang.. I read all these articles about how wicked she is in front of people.. without cameras.

there are so many about charmaine..
i heard one about her sleeping with someone to get in series too

Let me see, some celebs I think that are mean and arrogant: Gigi Leung, Sonija Kwok, Liza Wang, Bondy Chiu, Ruby Lin.

I agree with ya about Ruby Lin.... never like her in mah whole life.... but don't know why the director always give her the sweet role...... urghhhh... she should play an evil role for once.......

lydia sum [shes rude, my aunt works at a hairdressers in HK, and lydia goes there and shes so picky and rude..and just thought id drop this little tidbit in, the bangs of lydia's are fake..lol, shes bald in the front of her head.. ]
maggie chueng [juss looks rude and b1tchy, specially after the TVB awards, my view of her changed after that]
leon lai [just looks cold, not very welcoming]
cecilia cheung [no comment]

aaron kwok is definitely arrogant.
he punked out my 2 european friends in France a couple of years ago. good thing, i punked him out back in 1995 when i pissed him off by mentioning Christy Chung in his concert. he had a hard time controlling the audience who were all laughing at him. gave me the cut-eye too~!

Adam Cheng is definitely arrogant. my dad sponsored a show he was having in seneca college in toronto and my dad mentioned how Adam Cheng kept making too many unneccessary requests like having a 5 star hotel and sh!t. (i think we put him in a 3 star or 4 star which are still very nice) diu~! if it wasn't for my grampa, he wouldn't even have a musical start! my grampa produced some of his first albums back in the 60's or 70's (not too sure). i have it on audio cassette somewhere.

What the hell? I meet Adam like a lot of time and HE IS ALWAYS NICE TO EVERYONE AROUND HIM. There is totally no negative reports on his personality. Every paper and reporter praises him like crazy...he's nice, friendly, helpful, etc. You must be kidding. He ain't diu okay? Don't be too mo liu.

i dont think Maggie Cheung Ho Yee is arrogant. shes just straightforward.. hehe.. but she might seem arrogant i guess *shrugs* whatever. hmm... as for my list.. i would say.. edison chen, jordan chan, kong wah. ;x dont kill me! '

I agree that Ruby Lin is really mean and b*t*h-y. I haven't met her or anything but she really appears to be that way.. Also, I think Hebe from S.H.E is also a snob! As much as I love S.H.E but I have to admit Hebe seems really stuck up. well, i must say gigi leung...and this is from a personal experience my cousin went through with her....

my cousin works as a flight attendant for cathay pacific, and one time, she and her friend (who is also a flight attendant) were on board for a flight....and gigi leung was on the flight too...

and my cousin's friend was a big fan of her's, so naturally, she approached her...talked to her, and asked to take a picture with her...well, gigi GLADLY took the picture with her..and even gave her an address to send the picture back to her once it has been developed...

a few weeks later, my cousin's friend was fired....

reason?

her boss said that gigi complained to cathay that she disturbed gigi during the flight, and used that picture as evidence ...

what a b*t*h...

I've never had any luck in my life to engage in a daily conversation with Ruby Lin, Charmaine Cheh, Cecillia Cheung, Maggie Cheung, Sonija Kwok and the likes so I can't comment anything...

But I hope all these accussations are based on personal encounters. Otherwise, I would account it just like the way I treat the neverending "friendster-is-closing-down" saga or "tommy-hillfinger-racism-in-oprah". There are a few ways to validate the accussations though. It will not be valid if

1/ it's your personal opinion
2/ your uncle from Fushan told you about this when he overheard it from his neighbour's arguments when playing Mahjong...
3/ you have double standard ie artistes are gods and should behave like one
4/ you read it somewhere from the "Letters from Readers" column of a HK gossip magazines
5/ some strangers by the name of "coolkid98" told you when you chatted on a HK entertainment forum

I was once at a 7-11 late at night in Chai Wan. This was 2 years ago. I saw a lady walk in at 11PM, wearing sunglasses, yes. Why I asked, I went up closely to her and it was Kenix Kowk because she removed them after entering the store, I walked up to the counter and saw her and I said hi, she looked quickly, then turned away, I remember this as if it was yesterday.

She then bought 1 menthos candy pack, and then she shocked me by buying not 1 but 2 pack of Malboro reds cigarette (i guess it's called that because he gave her a red coloured packet). I then asked for her autographs, she looked at me, said no, and turn her back to me. When she waiting for her change after she pay, I tap her on the shoulder, she look at me and said 'What?" "(Mat yeh in canto) I told her I like her and want her autograph, she say no real loud and just left the store quick and walk out.

Kenix fans don't be mad at me, it really happen, I too scared to post in kenix forum, they will hate me. She was so rude, and she smokes too.
I still like her shows but she ain't nice.

i really dont know why those famous people are so rude and arrogant. if they have not fans like us to see their series or whatever, they wouldnt be that rich

arrogant or proud of themself are ones of the characteristic of the stars.
But I don't think that Liza is mean. I used to meet her. She was kind in front of ppl.
For her birthday, she said that she won't accept any gift from fans, because she just don't want her fans to waste money. And during concert in USA fan gave her a tree of money, and she gave all to her co-workers (dancers ect...)
Also she did a lot of charity show.
Sometime, she showed her angry against some others start, like to Eric Tang, who said stupid things. But she did show her angry on screen, not without camera. And that's why we can see.
She is kind with her co-workers and fans.

i would say Liza's not arrogant or mean, but she's a very strict and serious individual. she would prefer the crew to be punctual (which is supposed to be a moral value - to be punctual!) in the first place. Liza's creating discipline man! Saving time, money and speeding up filming, so that's why My Sassy Mother In Law will be airing soon! ahead of other films!

Furthermore, i've read countless articles about Liza being nice and friendly, this includes articles from her friends. these articles can be read on www.lizawang.com. She even allows fans to take individual pictures with her. Also, she's done tons of charity concerts and donated to charity organization privately (this was highlighted by HK newspapers quoting that Liza donated to the Tsunami fund when many thought she didn't). She expressed her disappointment that she was not able to perform in the Tsunami concert as she was filming My Sassy Mother In Law.

but just a word of caution: celebrities who appear to be super nice could be wearing their poker faces in public. never judge a book by its cover.

I heard from the radio that Joe Ma was criticized by some female artist before he became famous (I guess he's more popular after the Triumph in the Sky series). From what the DJ mentioned, that arrogant actress should be Joyce Tang.

Hm... I'm kinda thinking of Edison Chen and Liza Wang. MAN. Edison needs to control his temper. And Liza Wang... she's plain annoying LOL

Zhang Ziyi is arrogant because she gets to be in American films and she seems to make it such a big deal... Personally I dont think shes very pretty White Makeup and very red whitestick does not mean your prettier than the rest I think that even some of the HK actors and stuff look much prettier than her...
Ruby Lin acts sweet and stuff and looks "cute" but is like actually kind of nasty in person shes like a evil teddy bear I dont know what she has to be so arrogant about though...shes not 100% international everyone knows her kind of star...
