Well, I heard that guy Albert Yeung is pretty powerful. I think it's sad if that was true that the girls slept with him to get ahead.

Oh well, it could be true though, who knows right. There's always a dark side of things where other people couldn't see.
But I don't really believe that Twins slept with this Albert Yeung too, they seem so innocent looking and all
Through rumours like this, I'm sure it's not fun to be famous afterall.

yea since the twins and joey came out their fame has never stop increasing. However I do believe it is true becuz I also read it from the news. BUt hey that how the entertainment world work if you want to be famous you must give up your body. I also read that they are not allowed to have bf that's why they stopped promoting Lillian becuz she was not willing to do things like the twins and Joey did. At first when Lillian came out she was popular but then she had a bf and she was not willing to sleep with the guys and be passed around so they stopped promoting her. The group was called hummmmmmmmmmm don't know how to translate it in chinese it something like this "YING WONG". That the group where Joey and Twins and some other artist are in. They have to sleep around and be passed around to many guys. Hey it not hard to believe that they would do that but I think is is just ingorance for the artist to do something like that. Some artist will do anything for fame and that's just sick. Hey some ppl could not believe it but hey it okay not everyone have the same view. BUt who will actually capture pics. of the twin in bed with Albert come on if they do that's against the law to go into someone's place and take pic of them. BUt anyways if ppl really think about it the Twins and Joey when they first came out they did not have to start from the beginning like other artist did. SO that give you a clue and their singing is not even all that good compared to other artist like Miriam , bobo, and others ones who actually has to work their way up.

i dnt think twins would sleep with him for fame because they got famous for singing and they did win prizes....plus they dnt seem like they would sleep with such an old guy.....thats jus nasty and who would jus for fame>????

I heard about it, joey's mom help joey;s career by both sleeping with guy. The Gil and Sar both sleep with him, thats y they called Twins i guess. For the another singer, they dont look attractive at all nor they sing good, it is really possible

this rumour about the singers in EEG sleepin with the boss to get fame was never really confirmed but it is very true that the company tend to select a very young age group of people. The oldest in that group is probs ekin, dave wong and anthony wong, the rest are kids....

The company probably select younger artists to help them target younger audiences and these artists are selected through models mostly... but in terms of gettin them famous by sleepin, we arent sure..

then again we have that incident between joey and eric tsang about 5yrs back which im not sure about... what exactly happend? or what was the news/rumor?

Well; i am not in the least surprised if they actually slept their way up. This is showbiz after all - the most complicated industry. In the corporate world, you have people sleeping with their superiors so as to advance their careers. Showbiz is more complicated than the corporate world; all the more there should be.

Its not easy to survive in the showbiz with the truckloads of new singers appearing now. And some would probably see having sex with so to maintain gd ties with the management and in exchange for more opportunies...

I'm pretty sure Yumiko did that but i doubt it if the twins did that. I think that they are good bacause of their own strenght to make it to the top. I think Albert Yeung is not that "strong" to be able to do with two girls also. No hard feelings here, just my personal opinion.

well...it's only because it's so hard to enter the entertainment circle and it wouldn't really be surprising to know that it is true for many stars to sleep their way to the top :T but keep in mind that...a lot of nasty rumors are spread all the time too..

Let's just say that if it was found to be true, I wouldn't be surprise by these rumors. Stuff like this happens in every country's entertainment industry. It's a sad thing actually

I personally think that Joey Yung DIDN'T sleep with Albert Yeung (partly because I am a "fans" of Joey myself). Joey received many awards for the singing contests in 1995 and 1996. She worked hard in becoming popular, especially with the help of her mentor 'Roman'. But, soon a rumor started spreading, saying that Joey's mother slept with Albert Yeung. (Even though no one's 100% sure about this ...It doesn't prove that Joey slept with Albert Yeung too.)
And about Twins... I don't think that they slept with Albert Yeung either. They also worked hard to become popular. And even though they aren't as popular as Joey, many people like them still. I'm not much of a "fans" of Twins, but I know that they have sung 4 albums of children's sonsg...And many children started to like them.
Lastly... I'm not sure about Yumiko. I personally dislike her. Rumors are saying that Yumiko slept with Albert Yeung to get fame too ...and she soon became really popular (even though she isn't really that pretty and doesn't sing that well). But, no one has real proof. By the way ...Nowadays, the look of a singer doesn’t really matter anymore. And anyways, Yumiko actually did plastic surgery before (and no offense... She wasn't the best looking. So right now, she's actually A LOT prettier).

So, My point is... No one actually have any REAL proof that these singers have slept with Albert Yeung. So, these rumors shouldn't affect us in the way how we look at these singers by...

Joey wasn't famous before these years?? What makes you say that Joey did it ...but not Yumiko or Twins? I know that Twins are really popular for one fact but... Yumiko suddenly became really popular because... well... for basically no reason. She isn't that pretty and she can't sing.
...And Joey didn't just get famous these few years... She slowly became popular from 1995 to 1996 because of a singing contest ...And she received 1st place for it (because she sings good). Well about all this "sleepin" rumor, it was never confirmed. But I also heard that during the early times, Joey Yung and Lillian Ho were the new fresh face singers and rumor says that the boss will help promote and get fame for whoever sleeps with him. Apparently Lillian refused to do so (and Joey did) hence she have now vanished and Joey is successful.... BUT THIS WAS RUMOR......... i wouldnt think she would

Even though Mani is only her manager but Mani, as a manager does have the right to give her opportunities. I remember Joey getting an award one year. She was crying saying that she really wanted to thank Mani for giving her so many opportunities. And that Mani was probably crying even harder behind the stage.

Ok, Charlene @ Twins might be the youngest out of the four... but Yumiko is only one year older than Charlene and she's only eight months younger than Gillian @ Twins. And Joey is only one year older than Yumiko and Gillian... So all of them actually are around the same age. And there's no such thing as "too young to have sex".
And talking about their voices. Yes, Twins don't sing bad... but comparing with Joey, they're nothing...
