This girl makes me cry in Stairway To Heaven. Her acting skillls is very good forsuch a young little actress. I just love her and she's sooo cute. Her face looks very sad in the movie but that's what very cute and special about her.

She was so amazing as Jung Suh in STH.... people always compare her to Moon Geun Young, but I think they are both awesome actresses... a lot of promise for future Korean dramas and movies. She's really pretty. I can't wait to watch more of her series... her crying is so convincing

1/16/06 – Lee Wan and Park Shin Hye film their new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Tree of Heaven” in Nagano, Japan. They pose in front of a church in a snowfield. In order to show the dark and cold image in the drama, Lee Wan has lost 5kg weight within one month. LW’s role Yoon Suh (윤서) lost his mother when he was 10 years old and became autistic. His father remarries. Then he and his step-sister Hana (하나, played by Park Shin Hye) develop love relationship. The drama is scheduled to be aired by SBS on 2/8 following the final episode of “My Girl”. Also, the drama will be broadcasted by Fuji TV in April in Japan.

=O no she's going to be 16 this year... just 5 days from now!!! her b-day is on 2/18!!!!! OMG i just watched first n second ep of the show Trees of Heaven, sure it's like stairway to heaven because they have the same writer and director, but watching this and seeing her acting again with lee wan ROCKS!!!! and nope they ARE the main lead in the story, in the show she's like playing a 19 year old grl... getting picked on by the aunt and cousin yet again, and here the brother also falls in love with the sister... same thing in stairway to heaven except this time she loves him back! **by the way lily i LOVEEE ur sig XD SO SAMSOONIE AND SAMSHIKKIE**

In the show lee wan had to go bare feet in the snow o.0 here in NYC just had a huge snow there, and i tried to put my bare feet in the snow, i couldn't last 3 seconds o.0 see what he has to go through! being a actor is not as easy as most think XD at first i thought they weren't really in japan since i see the familiar korean place there but then since the news said they filmed in japan so i guess parts of it were there XD the house and stuff so yup i suppose... anyways i was checking out the gallery and i saw these info

well it was sometime ago that she was 5'4 i think she's taller than that now seeing her in Trees of heave but anyways that's not the main point... in 2005 i dont remember a drama call 'sky dance' and didnt remember seeing her pic in it =O as well as in 2004 to the drama call 'not alone' ? nope i never heard of that o.0 but anyways i really hope i can see it tho, she probably played like guest star roles and that's like the bit i want to see... probably like a mini drama or something =P

i find it really cool how this korean drama is also going to be airred in japan tv... they did speak lots of japanese there tho, shin hye's japanese is good =) i like her and lee wan together =) hope i get to see some behind the scenes and NGs =)

i feel bad for shin hye too, even tho lee wan have to step bare feet in the snow, she's only wearing like a mini skirt with black stockings o.0 maybe it's just me but like lee wan gets so much opportunity to harass her XD... like in stairway to heaven before and here now... i still remember that scene in stairway to heaven where they were in the hospital and the nurse pull her shirt only showing her bra and told him to like clean her XD that was hilarious... i wonder if they are close friends =O

Park Shin-hye Invited to Photo Exhibition for Korean Top Stars

June 15, 2006

Rising teenage actress Park Shin-hye, who has become popular in Japan since the drama “Trees in Heaven” aired there in March, has been offered an opportunity to promote herself in Japan.

The 17 year-old actress is the only star in her teens among the Korean stars who have been invited to the Fuji TV-sponsored Korean star photo exhibition to be held in Tokyo until July 2. Other invited stars include Japanese favorite Bae Yong-jun, Jang Dong-gun, Lee Young-ae, Won Bin and Son Ye-jin.

Park will not only make an appearance at the exhibition but also participate in an auction hosted by the exhibition organizer, where the stars’ personal mementos will be auctioned off. The proceeds from the auction will be donated to UNICEF.

Park's agency, CloudFish, said that the fact that Park has been invited to the exhibition for Korean top stars shows that she is recognized as a rising star who will lead the Korean Wave in the future in Japan. “We hope that her popularity there will become even greater because of the exhibition,” it added.

Meanwhile, the young actress is now shooting a horror film with the working title of “Untold Story: The Red Forest.”

Park Shin Hye will definitely be one of the big star in korean in the future. She looks too young now so it's pretty hard for her to get a role that would fit her. I hope to see more of her in the future projects. I love her acting, she can really cries! I love the way she looks, very innocent and pure. She also has a very sweet smile. Out of all, I think she looks best with Lee Wan, they looks so good together in Tree of Heaven, and even Stairways to Heaven when they were so young . FIGHTIN PARK SHIN HYE!!
