But TVB has never made a series with the Main CHaracters being gays and lesbians....but then again not that many has???

In Xiao Shi Yi Lang there are 2 gay characters, but that is due to the novel.

in 20/30 dictionary, chapman to and daniel chan played a gay couple. i would've never guessed daniel chan...

but in placebo cure...cherie & eileen do not haf vv much scenes together....so i dunno why ppl make a fuss out of it....

Noooh...that's not what im thinking. it can be fun becuzz they must make a comedy with this subject and not soo serious like u mean. for example they can make a guy he is not a gay but somehow he find out he is gay and begin to do gay action in front of his family/relations. And put some comedy in it and it will be funny right?

Actually, i think TVB is including more and more homosexual couples in series, like life begins at 40, burning flame 2, Net Deception, Placebo Cure, To catch the uncatchable, King of yesterday and tomorrow, and even Virtues of Harmony.

hey is it true about the placebo cure? They were lesbian? They didn't really seem like anyway. They seemed like a pair of very very very close friends that's all. There shouldn't be a fuss about it. There are some other shows with gays..but so what? C'mon it's just like in real life right?

Didn't TVB has a drama called "Loving You"? It's not actually a drama but there are few stories in this entire series with each story spanning 3-4 episodes. One of the story was about a father who had two sons and both of them turned gay.This story was about acceptance of homosexuality. Lawrence Ng Kai Wah was one of the actor. This show was aired in I think 2000 or 2001.

In the cops series like DIF & FOJ has several stories involving gay couples, but they're very short. The most series I've seen talk more about gay couples is Placebo Cure & Ups n Downs in the Sea of Love. I think TVB will not have a series just plainly about gay...they are trying to stay on the good side...and they're probably afraid that many chinese viewer will oppose & not accept these type of series to be shown in TV.

well, tvb did not really make a gay series. but the idea of gay people were in some series. like healing hands II. the gay friend of kit chan who commited suicide. also in burning flames II (i think it was this or I) that gilbert was the gay brother of alex fong. and then there is placebo cure, with the nurse and sunny chan's assistant. looking at a lot of these series, i think in the future, tvb will make a series about gay. its not really a bad thing =\

I don't want to see gay in TVB series. First, because it's not in Chinese manners and mentality and second, because it's too disguting.
However, there are some love story about gays in Tvb series: for example, in King of Yesterday and Today, File of Justice.

I would love to see a PROPER gay-lesbian series! But i don't think Hong Kong is ready for that yet. A lot of people still can't accept gays or lesbians. In some series yea there are the minor gay/lesbian couple but its nothing, its like because they have their arms around each other they're gay or lesbian not realistic at all.

wow, gay series? the word is so confused. i have watched some boring series. if it is all about gay people. No, never. and different people might have different feeling for it.

I wouldn't want to see series from TVB with homosexual people in it. Not because I am against that (since I am gay myself), but because of the fact that TVB would portray it in such an unjust way. Nearly all of the series that have contained people who are homosexual contain the stereotype to the extreme. The guys are always extremely limp wristed and weak. And then to have some of them just change sexuality? I'm sorry, it's not a choice, it just doesn't change. To have TVB form a series with homosexuals as the main characters would just mean more discrimination.

In king of yesterday one of the boss son was gay..also the series net deception myolie mom has a lesbian girlfriend.

The only series that has anything to do with a gay couple is in Kings of Yesterday and Tomorrow, between the second brother and the designer. Doesn't really talk much about it though.
