I love 'Behind These Hazel Eyes'. It's my favourite song at the moment. Kelly is very talented.

her CD "Breakaway" is really good.. my friend bought it for me for my birthday hehe. my favourite songs on there are "Because of You", "You Found Me" and "Behind These Hazel Eyes". most of the songs on there are pretty good though.. i definitely recommend the cd =)

I also think her CD Breakaway was pretty good. It was one of the rare American albums that I buy that has most of the songs on the CD being good. I haven't had that in a long time. She got alot of good songs on the CD, it would be best if they played all the songs on the radio on that CD. I'm glad 'Behind these hazel eyes' was released on radios though, I think that was the best song she showed her vocals in towards the end. I hope the next song she releases on radio would be 'Addicted', this song has evanescence feel to it. I'm not going to hesitate buying her next CD, though I hope I wont be too disappointed.

Yes Breakaway is one of those rare alblums. When i got it, which was a while ago, i was listening to all the songs I'm i'm like wow most of these song could be released as singles, which like the first 5 did already...

I've only just recently got Kelly's album, and my favourite song has to be Because of you. I think her voice is so unique and so good.

Kelly Clarkson is my favorite American Idol winner and I love her CD "Breakaway".

kelly's the only american i dol i ever liked. i'm glad that she's so successful and isn't a one hit wonder. she has an amazing voice and i like her wholesome personality.

Clarkson Surprises With Grammy Performance

Early on during the Grammy Awards on Wednesday night, Kelly Clarkson bested music industry veterans Mariah Carey, Gwen Stefani, Sheryl Crow and Bonnie Raitt to win the best female pop vocal performance award for her mega-hit "Since U Been Gone."

When she performed less than an hour later on the same stage where she tearfully accepted that award, the choice of song seemed obvious. Except it wasn't.

Instead of belting out "Since U Been Gone" — one of the best 3-minutes of angst-ridden pop that mainstream music has produced in a good while — Clarkson sang her ballad, "Because of You."

The former "American Idol" — of all people — should have known that song choice is everything.

Donning a beautiful, flowing red dress, Clarkson (introduced by Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Rothlisberger) strode out from beside a grand piano, singing with a strong, confident voice:

"Because of you, I never strayed too far away from the sidewalk. ... Because of you, I am afraid."

Could she be thinking of Simon Cowell maybe?

While the performance was perfectly fine, one couldn't help but feel it a little reminiscent of those many mediocre, superficial ballads trotted out on "Idol."

Ironically, Clarkson seemed to be trying to finally sever her roots to that Fox reality contest on Grammy night. Accepting her pop vocal award, "Idol" was one word she didn't utter.

No one would like to be forever linked to any reality program — least of all Cowell's show — but Clarkson still should have listened to her old lessons and stuck with the hit.
