Old lovers Miriam Yeung and Ronald Cheng attended Gold Label's celebration night last night. Even though they agreed to take pictures together from the reporters' requests, they not talk with each other. Although Miriam is still 'lonely', she and Leo Ku becomes the valuable ones to the company.

Other than Miriam and Donald, Leo Ku, Cookies, Edmond Leung, William So, Justin, Jan Lam, Alex Fong, Lam Jik, Bernice Liu (all of Gold Label's members) also came. Miriam and Ronald stood away from each other and had to be pulled together by the reporters. After the pictures, they both went to their seats. But before Ronald arrived, Miriam was seen talking with Ronald's father!

Because Ronald overslept, he was late for the event. As with rumored girlfriend Charlene flying to America to 'meet the parents', he said, "I don't know! Not answering!" When asked how he would celebrate Valentine's day, he said, "I have to work that day. (Will you give out flowers and presents?) Not answering."

Moreover, Miriam and Leo becomes the valuable members of Gold Label. Miriam joked, "Everyone is important if they earn money. I don't want my company to feed me like a baby." On Valentine's Day, Miriam has to take promotional pictures for her new movie 《天生一對》. Leo also expressed that this is the year he earned the most but won't reveal how much. During the celebration, Leo and Ronald both received a mp3 and cash prize and both of them donated the cash prize. Edmond and Alex become the winning group in the beer drinking competition.

I love how she responded to rumors that surfaced after 2 award ceremonies for the 2005 music year. She said, I know it was going to happen. Its a routine, every year rumors like these surface. I have to thank them for writing about me (reporter then laughs) Miriam answers, you think I'm kidding? they have a choice, they don't have to write about me at all. They have to calculate the marketing before putting you on the cover. (they both laugh)

Is there only a Love Undercover I + II or is there more?

yep there's only Love Undercover I and II. Heard there's going to be a number III coming out but then, Miriam won't be playing in it!!

Hey guys, you should watch 2 Become 1 , Miriam's new movie..Its such a good movie.. Even thou there isnt hilarious bits like what Love Undercover has..but its worth a watching and money as well. There is this one funny part in the movie when she try to kill herself... Sooo silly.. but this movie is a serious and touching story..

Bernice wins 2 music awards while Eason and Miriam wins none

On the 15th, the JSG Seasonal Awards Round 1 was held. Awards given out were the top 12 songs, best commerical song, and best newcomer. Joey Yung, like Bernice Liu each received 2 awards while Eason and Miriam won none.

Aside from winning one of the top 12 songs, Joey also won the best commercial song while Bernice also won the best newcomer award.

Regarding winning 2 awards as a newcomer, Bernice says she is really happy and its an encouragment because this is her first music award. Her winning song will also be part of the May album release of 女兒紅. When asked if she is afraid that she would forget her lyrics when singing live, she responded while laughing, "If I forget the lyrics then it'll prove that I'm singing live." She also said that if she got the chance, she would enter the HK music industry. She believes that as an actor or actress they should explore many entertainment options.

When asked whether she thought she won the awards because she's part of TVB, she responded, "I don't think I had an advantage because I'm part of TVB." She was further asked, but you won over both Eason and Miriam. She responded, "I can't be compared to the two of them, I'm just a newcomer. I need to learn from them."

I'm not a really big fan of her singing, because her voice is a little to deep for my liking, but I think she's a good actress. I think she would make such a cute couple with Daniel Wu, especially in Love Undercover 1 & 2 and Drink, Drank, Drunk.

Hmm..Her character Bingo's left breast got operated.. And yeah..she is left with one breast.. But the ending is abit err.. not very well done..it seems they r just rushing with the ending... But the whole movie was alright... Great improvement from Miriam!!

Yeah.. I agree that the ending was rushed. It would have been better if it showed her getting married with Richie and of her giving birth to her daughter or something. Right after the surgery, it just showed her buying bras with her daughter... but Miriam was great in this movie!

After TVB released "All About Man" last year, this year they will release "All About Women". Yesterday 'first lady' Miriam Yeung leads Charmaine Sheh, Bernice Liu, Stephy Tang, and others in to a function. But Stephy and Charmaine unexpectedly wears the same shoes! But they were not embarssed and Charmaine joked, "The pair of shoes is very pretty!"

'Laughing Auntie' Miriam Yeung recently agreed to film a mainland Kungfu comedy called 《武十郎》, officially entering the mainland market. In the drama, she is a girl that pretends to be a guy. But what causes her to be the most excited is that she will be having a father-daughter relationship with Zhang Guo Li.

Yesterday Miriam and the 《武十郎》 actors including Wallace Huo and Hu Yu Wei (胡宇崴) were at Shanghai for a pre-shooting ceremony. During the interview, Miriam expressed that she was the 'laughing auntie' before but now she has to pretend to be a guy. She said, "In the drama, I have to display my feminine charm and another time I have to act as a boy. The acting is alot different from before."

　　Miriam Yueng, the star of Dry Wood, Fierce Fire, My Lucky Star, Love Undercover I and II, Sound of Colours and Anna in Kungfu-land, was interviewed by The Malay Mail, in advance of touring in Malaysia this coming April.

　　She‘s currently recording a new Cantonese album and will be working on a new film with director Derek Yee. Miriam talks about life as a singer/actress and what it‘s like to field rumors concerning her love life.

　　On her romantic link with Louis Koo:

　　Hong Kong star as charming in real life as in movies

　　Like the happy-go-lucky girl she often portrays on screen, Miriam Yeung has a positive outlook on life.

　　So even when rumours romantically linked her to Louis Koo, Miriam took it very coolly.

　　"The rumours are not true," confirmed a rather bemused Miriam during a phone interview from Hong Kong recently.

　　"We have known each other for so long. And we had spent a lot of time time together because of work.

　　"So the gossip was all made up. But in a way, it was good because there was at least something new for them to write and for people to read!"

　　After breaking up with Ronald Cheng last year, Miriam, 31, is happily single again.

　　She believes in fate when it comes to her love life.

　　"Finding love is not something within one‘s control. But I can control my career and that‘s my focus for now," she reasoned.

　　And the good thing is that her parents have never urged her to get married as they are more concerned about whether she is living a happy and healthy life.

　　But she is not too happy with the paparazzi.

　　They recently pestered her family in their attempt to get news about her.

　　"As an artiste, dealing with the media comes the job. But it is not right to disrupt the lives of family.‘‘

　　During a trial recording session, Miriam was spotted by record label Capital Artist, which signed her up.

　　At first, she didn‘t make much impact as a singer or as an actress.

　　But she slowly won fans with her easygoing and happy nature.

　　Hard work and a little bit of luck propelled Miriam to stardom.

　　Today, with over 30 albums under her belt, the latest feather in her cap was when she recently clinched the Most Popular Female Artiste award in Hong Kong‘s prestigious Radio Commercial Music Awards.

　　Her single Small City Big Matter has also topped the charts in Hong Kong and many other Asian countries.

　　The Canto-pop queen will be staging her maiden concert in Malaysia on April 9, at the Arena of Stars, Genting Highland.

　　Her guest artiste will be Edmond Leung, another popular artiste who has been making a mark for himself in recent years.

　　She is currently recording her new Cantonese album and next month, Miriam will be working on a romantic art movie by director Derek Yee.

　　Her male lead will be Daniel Woo.

　　"It is the first time I am working with Derek. I believe I will learn a lot from him."

　　A departure from her usual romantic comedy roles, the new film will be a more realistic depiction of life in Hong Kong.


　　When asked to reveal more about the coming concert in Genting, Miriam said it would be different from her Hong Kong concerts.

　　"I will be presenting songs old and new, and there will be a section of movie themes with music video clips," she said.

　　"Edmond and I would also be singing our own and each other‘s songs."

　　But audience at her concert won‘t be hearing any of the songs from her new album as she would be saving that for the album promotion.

　　Miriam said she hopes to come to Malaysia to meet her fans before the concert but it will depend on her schedule.

On the 15th of July, fa had a show in Zhong San. She mentioned that she missed the world cup matches, due to the lack of coverage at where she is staying while filming 武十郎.

She also mentioned that due to tight schedule, her album can only be out around September or October.

When she was asked whether there will be any concert to celebrate her 10 years in show biz. She said at the moment she has no plan for it. She said that for memorable concert it would be reserved for her ‘'silver marriage''. (I have no ideal what she meant by that. Dunno if she meant a 25th anniversary concert or a concert when she's married for 25years...)

It was noted that her boss Paco was also present at the show.

All the fans had a great time. It seems like they are allowed to take photo during the show.

Miriam has a new plugged song! It is really good! Has anyone else heard it before?
