Miriam is still busy with the movie she is acting in china. She said her new album will probably be out in September or October. She also has a new plugged song. I agree that is it really good too!
Also, Eason Chan will be holding a 10th anniversary retrospective show. He mentioned that he'll be singing the duet that can't even be found in karaoke -"Actually I remembered" with Miriam. The song was recorded in his 1st album and he sang a bit of tune. Hence he decided to sing a perfect version in his show this time round.
Miriam and Eason has a 903 radio drama...!!! Has anyone heard it before? I heard this is a really good radio drama!!! Can anyone tell me more..? Thanks in advance!

"Wu Shi Lang" has finished its filming yesterday. On this Chinese Valentine's day, Miriam has to fight with the 2 male leads and said their Valentine's day presents are the cuts and bruises on their bodies.
Miriam has many fighting scenes. During a rehearsal, Miriam hit Huo Jian Hua's back and sprained her neck. She said it was ok and it's a small injury.
The weather was very hot and Miriam said she almost gets heat strokes everyday. Now the filming is over she can finally go home but she can't bear to leave the cast and crew because they were very happy when working together.
Huo Jian Hua said with Miriam around, there's always laughters.
Zhang Guo Li played Miriam's father in the show. "This father is very smart and cool. I was very nervous on my first day working with him, always worried that I'll made mistakes, but when he appeared before me, I had a feeling he's someone whom I've already known for 20 years. He could lead me into my role very quickly, it's amazing."

"My father is a Teochew. They have the conception of male is more important than female. I was the first child and my father was hoping to have a son. My mum had a lot of pressure when carrying me. They didn't expect me to be a daughter. They brought me up like a son, I wore boys' clothes."
Miriam's new drama is also about "Wu Shi Lang" who's brought up like a boy. It's like Miriam's biography but it was hard for Miriam to play a character with good martial art skills and so many fighting scenes.
"I had a lot of cuts over my body." Filming overseas with no family members around, Miriam can only bear with it. She doesn't tell her family about her injuries because she doesn't want them to worry. "My mum will cry if she knows about it." Miriam thinks about all sorts of excuses to hide from them. Reporters asked what if they know after reading the newspapers. "Then I'll say it's just promotion gimmicks. I'll tell them it's a comedy, no fighting scenes. The injuries are just rumours spread by the production company, haha."

She sang "Woman Of Integrity" and was introduced as "Shanghai's first generation female action star" by Soft Hard(Jan Lam and Eric Kot). Miriam said she doesn't need to be an action star but an action singer is not bad as she can use her kick to get many awards. Jan challenged her for a fight but he jumped further and further away from Miriam and Miriam had to run and chase after him. Jan suggested they could ask Paco to invest in a movie for the 3 of them and they should first take a photo for their movie poster. The 3 of them then posed as "Dragon Tiger Gate"'s movie, with Miriam in the middle and Eric holding Mcdonald's Fantastic air sticks as the fighting sticks. Jan then said, "Miriam is KFC's, are you trying to frame her?" Miriam jokingly scolded Eric. When they posed, Eric looked at Miriam's armpit and said, "you've shaved quite clean!" Soft Hard then sang Miriam's Nim Jiom commercial song with funny lyrics. Miriam performed "Small City Big Matter" and Soft Hard once again changed the lyrics to something funny.

Easy-going, Giggly, Funny, Open - Four familiar characteristics of Miriam.
From an innocent bubbly girl, to the Canto-pop Queen status she holds today, Miriam has never changed much. What has changed, is probably her ever increasingly straightforward, bubbly, easy-going nature.
2006 is Miriam's 11th year in showbiz. 11 years is not a short period of time, and Miriam has definitely gone through a lot.
Family
Miriam often mentions that she's Teochew and that her family is most important to her. Whether Teochews are really that family-oriented, we do not know. But what we do know is that Miriam is a undeniably a family-loving person. One will recall in 2003 when she spent a few million dollars (?) on a luxurious condo so that she could live with her family. " In my opinion, this was of highest priority. When I first entered showbiz, i hoped to earn money quickly, buy a house to let my family live comfortably. A few years back, i finally fulfilled my wish. Now i wish to spend more time with them, however, due to my heavy workload, it seemed like i have neglected them much. Now, once i have the time, i will try my best to dine, shop with them, and enjoy the family ambience i have lost for the past few years."
Friendship
In this entertainment circle, everyone is doubtful about one another. The chances of meeting a true friend is even tougher than meeting one who is fake. Fortunately for Miriam, she has met a handful of trustworthy pals, most probably due to her genuine character.
"Having been in this circle for 11 years, I have made quite a few close friends, both in and outside of this circle. In this job, to meet true friends is really difficult, but i have been lucky. Miriam, Denise, Jordan, Don & Mandy and some other stars were the guest for TVB's Jade Solid Gold on September 27, 2006. Miriam just came back to hong kong , after watching a concert in Japan. Regarding the joke that lots of other female celebrities were being found kissing in public there, and she is the only who does not have such news. She jokingly replied, "She really does not have, the worst picture they can take of her in Japan, is when she bought clothing without trying, as she is buying for friends. Without much doubt she is buying cheap product, hence haste went off after purchasing, time is precious.
When she came back to Hong Kong, she heard that Alex Fong's place was being robbed. And the robber even spoke to Alex. She said that is so scary. The most precious thing in her house is her mum, dad and her life. If she encounter such incident, she will grab some sort of weapon, Tai Chi sword or chair, and rush at the robber.

The Senior Citizen Home Safety Association's Secret Angel helping plans and The True Light Middle School of Hong Kong Kindergarten Section organized a kite & paper wind mill creating event yesterday.
The "Secret angel" is our Ah Fa. During the activities, Miriam and about 100 kindergarten kids made kites as gifts for the senior citizens.
Miriam and the kids made tons of "caring" paper wind mills!
Beside being able to sing, it seems that Ah Fa's drawing skill is also quite good. She drew pictures of houses and "love" on paper wind mills,so as to wish the senior citizen safe and happy. When Ah Fa gave out the paper wind mills, the senior citizens praised her good look & that made her smile.
Last year, the ambassador was 陈慧琳 (Kelly Chen), this year was her turn. The main goals of the event were to raise funds for senior citizens and to promote awareness of home safety and healthy nursing information. They hope all senior citizens who live by themselves will be able to make use of the Personal Emergency Link Service. After this event, Miriam will have to make visits to the senior citizens.
Not only does Ah Fa care for the elderly, she also likes to interact with the kids. She is impressed with kids' IQ and said they are able to provide her an answer, no matter what she has asked.
As for the recent news of a young female DJ attempting suicide, Miriam was surprised and shocked that it happened. She understands that each individual has their respective way to handle difficult situations and maybe sometimes, when one cannot adjust accordingly, they might have an emotional hijack.
She truly hopes that the DJ will recover soon. Ah fa also advises that speaking to friends might help. When she is not happy, she will usually look for her friends to chat & it works for her. She feels that the actual work life in Hong kong is too pressuring, lots of people have mood disorders. Everyone needs time and space to express their problem, especially the DJ who has to handle heavy workloads and recent family issues. If there is no channel to let her express her problem, it will definitely affect her.
Ah Fa's good friend 林夕 (Lum Jik) is now giving lectures in schools on how to handle emotional pressure and mood disorders. Earlier on, there were rumors that 林夕 (Lum Jik) had mood disorders. She pointed out that he has fully recovered. Sometimes, she will even approach him to express her problems. She feels it is important for one to know how to free oneself and overcome tough times.

In my opinion, i think the outfit is unique, attractive, and very coloful. It would be better than just wearing a gown or dress because it if was like that, the wax museum would be very boring. A lot of the other stars in the wax museum are just wearing a pretty dress. Also Miriam's wax figure is the first one in history to have a laughing voice. They recorded Miriam's giggle... haha..

Miriam described herself as an artiste who doesn't play with "topics" and would not choose jobs because of "topics". She admits that she has more "Bargaining Power" now and can focus on what she wants to do, like choosing to act roles that are challenging. Miriam described herself as an artiste who doesn't play with "topics" and would not choose jobs because of "topics".
