Dumplings ... Three extremes - Haven't seen it but reviews mentioned it is a horror/morally provoking film. I can't imagine a a thousand years Miriam starring in a horror film.

Anyone seen it can post a review of her acting skills (serious/scared facial features) in the film. Though I loved her with her happy smiling features.

She got a diamond crown but Chin Wa sighed that both times she got diamonds she got them from sponsors and never from a male friend. She will spend Christmas at work. When Bobo was introduced, Jerry Lamb spoke English imitating Edison, making her laugh out loud and Eric Tsang remarked: "Even the fake one makes you so happy, what would the real one do?" To which Bobo responded: "Don't be stupid!"

Yes. Miriam and Twins were friends as they were guests at each others concerts.
However, after Charlene became Ronald Cheng's girlfriend, and you guys should all know Ronald is Miriam's ex, after that, the friendship between Miriam and Twins sort of just halted because of uneasiness between Miriam and Charlene I guess.
ANYWAY, many CD reviewers etc say that the songs in her new album make many references to Ronald Cheng. When Twins were asked about what they thought of Miriam's new songs. Here is what they said.
Gillian: "Miriam's songs are so old styled. They aren't hit enough." And she said this in an offensive way, it was NOT a constructive criticism.
Charlene: "Cheung sun but yoo doon sun??? I haven't even heard it!!!!" (She is trying to say Miriam's songs are now so old and not 'hit' enough that she doesn't hear Miriam's songs on the radio.)

OK. So i guess that is it. Personally, I think Twins know nothing about music. And their statements truly prove this. All they care about is making songs that are poppy and catchy enough for everyone to like, or songs that are 'K'(karaoke) enough for people to like. On the other hand, we have Miriam trying many different styles of music and really expanding her musical excellence.
And i do agree with twins, some of Miriam's songs are old - styled. LIke the next song that is being released to radio's 'Lit nui'. That is 80's music. And the song I'm listening to right now, "Ngor dung ngor joi" (Reminds me a lot of "jun ngoi hoi wan siu" from "Electric girl"), is also old-styled. BUT, this is what makes Miriam such a unique artist. She doesn't settle for sub-par karaoke hits or poppy/catchy songs that many people will like. She tries music is different. This is what Miriam likes doing, trying more music and making herself more musically inclined. Twins just want karaoke hits. That's all.
Twins have worked hard to get where they are, I acknowledge that, but I must also say that they have also heavily relied on Albert Yeung's money and brainwashing the kids of HK to get such a popular fanbase. Twins music is bad... Before they came, the HK music industry was already on decline. After they came, it just went down even faster.
Also, I must say Twins were VERY unprofessional with their comments. They should not have attacked Miriam in such an offensive way. There are many celebrities that hate/dislike each other, but they act the right way and just be silent and do not voice their negative opinions on whoever they don't like.
More on the album: As I have said, there are a few songs that sound like 80's. There is not a song that I hate. And there is finally another fast song which suits Miriam's voice, what a rarity. This is track 2...
This was a great album. Definitely worth the 10 month wait and all those delays.

Earlier, Miriam and Ronald, this rumoured couple, attended a wedding. They were around the place, drinking with friends etc but they did not seem to have any special intentions. The wedding of course had a bride so the ceremony of the ‘bouquet of flowers throwing’ was taken place. All the bride’s friends gathered around to try and catch the flowers but in the end, Miriam managed to get the bouquet of flowers.

Okay now time for me to brag on Miriam. I can tell you all I don't like her because she is pretty. She I think could be really pretty but I think her casual herself is just plain and healthy. In 2004 she did get the healthiest female award and I think she is one of the youth ambassadors of Unicef if I remember too. Plus now I think she is like spokesperson or ambassador of the Green Apple. This just gives her a clean personality one of the reason why she became hit. I think Miriam personally does a lot more work and is a bit more hard working than twins. Producing a CD is possibly one of the harder parts of making a CD. This way she can know her weeknesses of her singing and her strengths. (I took that from a magazine...)
Her new CD "Single" I did buy it I found it having a bit of a diffrent feel than her previous CD. But I heard that track 2 I heard she wrote one line of it... (but that is just a rumour...)
