Miriam and Real Ting's mother is quite close and was asked if she has thought of visiting her during Chinese new year. She replied, "Will go visitings in a group of friends. I'm close to a lot of mothers, I'm close with Denise Ho's mother too. (Will she shop in the new year bazaar?) Will not go anywhere when there's nothing to do during new year, very dangerous!"

There were reports earlier that she's not renewing her contract with amusic because of bad terms with Leon Lai. Miriam felt a bit helpless, "I've still a long way before my contract expires. This gossip of me and Mr Lai is still common, cause we can't possibly have love rumours!"

Miriam: Mingpao CNY interview

On the 2nd day of Lunar New Year, Miriam wishes Mingpao readers wealth and happiness. A lot of celebrities will go abroad during Chinese New Year. Miriam had been traveling a lot last year, so she stays in Hong Kong this year to accompany her family. She even did spring cleaning together with her family members and decorated their house for the festive mood. Real Ting's name has always been appearing next to her, does that mean there's already no need for her to wish for love luck? Miriam laughed, "I need a lot of peach blossoms luck! What are her plans for earning "golden cows" this year? Miriam replied, "I have plans for learning. I went China to film a tv drama with brother Zhang Guoli, and realised my Mandarin knowledge is very little. Since I want to continue in the showbiz, I have to upgrade myself. Just being smart in small ways won't give me chances to work with great masters."

Miriam said she couldn't communicate much with Zhang Guoli in the beginning but dared to talk more and more later, "Filming 10 episodes in China, with masters like Zhang Guoli, is just like going for classes everyday. I really feel I've gained a lot. The food there are too oily and I didn't eat much, so surprisingly I've lost weight!"

Equipping herself is what Miriam learnt. Getting back "Most Popular Female Singer" award which she had lost before, had given her many feelings but it doesn't mean winning her opponent. It was her mum's reaction that let her knew that her parents still cared if she could get the award.

Miriam said, "These 5 years, each time I go for awards ceremonies, no matter if I win anything, my parents were there with me. I thought I'm already used to not asking for any awards but just insisting in supporting the music scene by sitting throughout the ceremonies, until I got the 'Most Popular Female Singer' award, my mum cried every time she watches the replay at home. The most funny thing is the next day after I got the award, I had went Beijing for filming, and when I returned home one week later, I still saw my mum sitting in the living room watching the clip of me getting the award and crying. I then knew my parents are still concerned if I still have the chance of getting the award. I should thank TVB for fulfilling my mum's dream."

Miriam said she has passed the age when she was desperate for marriage and has no thoughts of getting married right now, "There are already many contracts to sign in life. The contract of marriage has great responsibilities. I have no thoughts of signing right now. (Is there anyone thinking of you?) Many, father and mother. (Anyone love you?) There's sure to be a lot."

Miriam claims to have character like men and she's not the type of "sticky" girlfriend, "I will definitely not check on my boyfriend nor see his handphone. There were rumors that Miriam will be marrying Real Ting in June. Miriam denied and celebrated her lunar birthday with a female friend yesterday. Over 10 fans waited for her for 5 hours to give her a birthday cake and wished her youth and a successful love life.

Miriam was very touched by the fans even though they didn't buy any presents for her due to bad economy, "Financial crisis, don't buy presents. Go home soon and rest. My birthday wish is to be happy and healthy."

Miriam admitted going overseas during her birthday with some friends but didn't mention if Real Ting was one of them. She denied the rumor of getting married in Shanghai during June, "Crazy, there's no such things. Miriam was the Whitening ambassador for Shiseido last year. 2009, Shiseido appointed Miriam as "Asia Whitening Image Ambassador" and took a series of promotional photos for Miriam in Hong Kong. Norika Fujiwara's image consultant was invited to do the make up for Miriam again. The photographer, image designer, creative producer and production crew from Japan went to Hong Kong specially for the shoot.

Miriam said that in order to have fair skin, exercise and food are also important other than daily whitening care, "I love to eat seafood, fruits and vegetables. When I attended Shiseido's whitening seminar at Tokyo National Museum, I took the chance to eat curry. I like to eat Japanese curry because there's lots of vegetables and good for the health. I go to the Gym everyday. Every Thursday there'll be a professional instructor to teach me. Exercising helps blood circulation and detox, makes the skin more radiant."

Miriam @ Shiseido Asia Whitening Ambassador Press Conference

Miriam attended the press conference for Shiseido as Asia Whitening Ambassador. She wore a diamond ring on the ring finger of her right hand, and was being asked if it was a gift from Real Ting. She denied, "Wedding ring is not worn on the right hand. This ring was a gift from a friend for my birthday."

The event was organised by the PR company Real Ting worked in but he wasn't present. Miriam said he had other jobs and reporters teased her for being very clear about what he's doing. Miriam hurriedly explained, "I heard from the people in the company. (Why are you blushing?) I've always been shy."

When being asked if she had listed the term that the press con must be handled by Real Ting's PR company during the renewal of contract with Shiseido? She said, "I can't control that, if I could I would have opened my own PR company to earn money."

As for her god-brother Edison Chen becoming a hot topic again, Miriam expressed she will not discuss about this matter in public, "It happened a year ago and most import thing now is to settle it quickly because it has caused troubles for the victims. Being a bystander and a part of showbiz, I hope they can get back to their lifes and work hard. Life is long and needs to carry on. Hope people can give them space and support."

Kelvin Kwan and Jill were arrested in Tokyo for possessing drugs. Also a singer in A-Music, Miriam attended "Be My Guest" recording and said she was being told by Leon Lai about this matter and the company's singers were asked not to comment too much.

When asked if Leon sound troubled on phone, Miriam replied, "We only talked for a short while. He knew I need to work and meet reporters so he told me roughly about what was the situation and hoped our singers don't comment too much."

Miriam said not only artistes are very concerned about this matter, but also everyone, "Young people will have different experience and lessons, most importantly is they can be enlightened. This is a negative example to society. There have been drug issues in schools recently as well but it's more high profile in the showbiz. This is a society problem. (Kelvin and Jill had taken but in anti-drugs ambassador jobs, isn't it ironic to happen?) Can't compare them, these events are hoping to give positive messages through artistes."

Is Jill a girl with self-respect in Miriam's eyes? She expressed, "Usually see her during work so I don't know. But I see that she's hardworking during rehearsals and very punctual. MIRIAM YEUNG is on cloud nine these days. Her year began with a bang when she clinched the Most Popular Female Artiste award at the Jade Solid Gold Top 10 Awards, ending the six-year monopoly of JOEY YUNG. Then there are the rumours that she will be tying the knot with her actor boyfriend REAL DING ZI GAO in June. Miriam, 35, has been dating Real, 30, for about a year now although she has never officially admitted it.


During a phone interview in conjunction with her upcoming concert Miriam Yeung All About Love World Tour 2009, the normally tight-lipped Miriam talked about her relationship for the very first time, although she would not reveal details, saying only that she wants to “let nature take its course.”

What can we expect from your concert?
It will be similar to my Hong Kong concerts, but since audiences here are familiar with my movies, I will also add songs from my movies into it. Costume wise, I am going to have a few new ones which I’ve personally picked to reflect my style. FAMA (a Hong Kong hip hop duo) will be my guest artistes. I quite admire them and like their musical style. Even though they seem quite funny and do rap music, the content of their songs make sense. I hope there will be some sparks when they sing at my concert but we won’t be singing together.

Do you hope to work with them in the future?
Yes, I would love to. We have performed together in a live concert before. Theirs is a new type of music for me. I like their thinking and their drive. I hope we can record a song together.

Congratulations on winning Most Popular Female Artiste. How do you feel about it?
Very happy and excited! The last time I took the award was six years ago. In between, I had to face the thought of failure. Every artiste would like some form of recognition. But it is important to turn my failure into an impetus to work harder. It was an important lesson as it gave me more strength. I am very thankful to many people around me who have helped me all these years. I feel the award does not belong to me alone.

So what have you been busy with?
After I finish shooting a television drama in Beijing, I will begin work on my new Cantonese album. Then in April and May, I will be working on a new movie in which I play a bodyguard!

You’re always bubbly and happy. How do you stay happy?
I think for women, if you want to look young, it’s important to maintain a happy and joyful outlook in life. It’s more effective than piling on all the cosmetics (laughs).

You have already accomplished a lot in your career. Are there any other things you hope to archive?
I want to record a Mandarin album. Also, I hope to make a movie that represents me and that belongs to me – I think that’s the dream of any actor.

Do you have a particular role or movie in mind?
I like to work on different kinds of movies. I just like acting. One of the genres I would like to try is action. My upcoming movie is an action-comedy. My role as a female bodyguard is quite interesting. She turns to martial arts because she needs security in life. The role also reflects what women are like nowadays.

Speaking of security in life, would you say you find security in your relationship?
Security is not derived from relationships alone, otherwise you’ll give the relationship too much pressure and you won’t be happy.

Are you happy?
There are happy and unhappy times, but I’m quite an optimistic person.

Do you hope to take your relationship to another level this year, like marriage?
I think that’s something that can’t be predicted. We can plan our work schedule but we can’t plan our relationship because we’d rather let nature take its course.

So what’s most important to you?
My family. Everything else is secondary.

Miriam Yeung: Shiseido Promotion in Japan





[b]Miriam went to Japan to film the promotional video for Shiseido skincare products and visited their laboratory to have a better understanding of Japan's history and culture of whitening. Miriam was most surprised by the live performance of Geishas. She said, "First time watching Geishas performing live, it really attracts me. Their performance has very high art and culture values, very professional." She also took the chance of season of plum blossoms and visited Guandu Nature Park to see full bloomed plum blossoms. She recalled her experience of receiving flowers, "Once I wasn't in Hong Kong during my birthday, a friend decorated the party venue with roses and gave me a surprise, it was really a happy memory." But she refused to reveal whether the friend was a male or female. In this trip, Miriam also had the chance to meet Morika Fujiwara's makeup artist to taste Japanese food and received many beauty tips from him.

Miriam Yeung: All About Love Live in Genting



Miriam held her "All About Love World Tour Concert" at the last stop Genting Arena of Stars last night. Special guest Fama sang a duet with Miriam and improvised the lyrics, teasing her age and habit of drinking. They kept asking Miriam when will she be getting married and about her rumored boyfriend Real Ting. Miriam pointed at C-Kwan and answered, "If I get married, I'll invite you as the 'flower boy'."

Miriam changed 5 sets of clothes for the concert. As Miriam is about to enter her 15th year in showbiz, many clips of her in movies were being played during the show including "Love Undercover", "Drink Drank Drunk" and "Sound of Colors".

Miriam who loves dancing also displayed her skills in the concert and did somersaults together with other difficult moves. But Miriam described her dancing as performing acrobatics. She only wanted to be like other singers who did turning moves in concerts and requested to do somersault herself.

Miriam sang over 20 award winning songs, including encore of 6 karaoke hits which fans could sing along. She mentioned during her thank-you speech that her parents had came over to Malaysia to watch her performance.

Miriam did not cry in the concert but felt emotional when she talked. She said, "One does not cry easier when getting older. Although I don't feel like leaving, there'll sure be chances again. Hope to have an opportunity to come here for concert again."

Miriam Yeung, Louis Koo and Charlie Yeung, ambassadors of the Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF left Hong Kong for Sichuan yesterday. They wanted to see how much the rebuilding work has been carried out after the earthquake. The reporter asked Miriam what she took with her to Sichuan, Miriam said the committee had already organized that for her and they were not allowed to take any other item. This is because the Sichuan government is very strict about people bringing things in. Miriam visited Sichuan a year ago, this time, she wanted to see how people are living after the earthquake one year on. Doing her media rounds in Tokyo as Shiseido's Whitening Ambassador for 2009, Hong Kong actress-singer Miriam Yeung is appropriately clad in a pristine, white pant-suit.

With her dark hair slicked back in a classic ponytail and tasteful diamond bracelets encircling her wrists, she looks radiant and serene - very tame and understated, if you consider her often madcap, bubbly and happy-go-lucky film persona.

In conversation, the 35-year-old is sanguine and philosophical. Ask her how she manages to keep her reputation as fair and spotless as her complexion, and what follows is a treatise on relative values.

"Every experience in life is kind of gain and creation. You can't categorise things into either good or bad only," she replies quietly. "So scandals are ony in the eye of the beholder."

She adds: "When something disastrous happens to you, it's merely a way for you to become more successful. Everybody needs to learn how to fail before they can find perfection in success."

Indeed, this year is shaping up to be a busy and successful one for Yeung.

In January, she won the Most Popular Female Singer at broadcaster TVB’s Jade Solid Gold Awards, unseating the award’s five-year winner and hot favourite Joey Yung.

After a year-long hiatus from making movies, she is preparing to shoot an action-comedy helmed by famed Hong Kong screenwriter James Yuen Sai Sang (The Warlords; He’s AWoman, She’s A Man).

She has also set her sights on breaking into the lucrative mainland China market. Earlier this year, she filmed a drama serial in Beijing in which she played a swordswoman and is hoping to record more Mandarin songs.

When it comes to questions about her skincare routine, the diplomatic star offers more concrete and specific advice.

She reveals that fair skin is something she has to work for: Her skin tans easily in the sun, so she wears sunscreen all year round, even during winter.

To give her skin a break, the star, whose favourite product is Shiseido’s White Lucent Brightening Eye Treatment, tries to go without make-up when she is not working.

A former nurse, she credits her pre-showbiz occupation for grounding her in reality.

Describing her nursing training at the age of 18 as “a very disciplined way to grow up”, she says: “I saw life, death and separation. Once, I told a patient’s family not to grieve anymore as he had already died.

They turned around and scolded me: ‘What do you know? You’re just a lass’.” Such episodes impressed upon her that life is just a cycle and helped her cope with the demands of fame.

Her pensive sincerity is convincing. Early on in her career, she had attracted media criticism for her aloof and blunt nature.

If there was a whitening product for the soul, which personality trait would she want to magically remove?

“When you go overboard with being straightforward, you may hurt other people and hinder your career prospects. It’s easy to recognise this but hard to curb it.

I still need more time to work on this,” she says readily.

Single since breaking up with fellow singer-actor Ronald Cheng in 2004, she displays shades of melancholy when talking about her favourite things.

For example, she says of her favourite actress Drew Barrymore: “She portrays single women who are independent and successful but also increasingly lonely in their personal lives. I think that’s something every single girl can relate to.”

On The Little Prince, her favourite book, she muses that she identifies with the Lamplighter character, who lights and extinguishes a lamp on an asteroid which rotated from day-to-night in a minute.

“Some days, I feel that I’m just clocking in at work without passion,” she says. “After reading the book, you find it easier to forgive other people and yourself.”

So when her Mr Right does emerge, will he be – in accord with her latest endorsement – tall, fair and handsome?

With a hearty laugh, she says: “I like men who are tanned and healthy-looking. If they are too pale, it’d seem as though I need to take care of them.”

Miriam Yeung, Louis Koo and Charlie Yeung, ambassadors of the Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF visited Sichuan recently to see how the rebuilding work has been progressing. Astrid Chan also went with the team as a special guest. In the four days of their visit, they went to Pengzhou City, Magnetic Peak, Dujiangyan, Beichuan and Mianyang. They went to the earthquake affected areas to see how the relief work has been carried out. That include water supply, sanitation, health care and education.

UNICEF, in conjunction with the local government has established 40 "Child-friendly home" in 21 affected counties in Sichuan Province. These homes provide long-term social and psychological support services for children aged 0-18.

The weather has been unpredictable, being cold one minute and hot the next. As a result, some of the team members were taken ill. However, the three ambassadors were very impressed with the speed of the rebuilding and redevelopment work.

Miriam was invited by LensCrafters to be their first spokesperson. Miriam is very excited and went to a branch in Causeway Bay for the new season advertisement shoot. The day before the shoot, Miriam had just finished her concert in Malaysia but she was very energetic during the shoot and very professional. They estimated to shoot for 10 hours but finished in just 5 hours. During the last shot, the optometrists checked Miriam's eyes and she didn't even blink. Miriam also tried on over hundred of branded glasses during the shoot.

Miriam attended the event for LensCrafters. The host wanted to introduce someone who resembles her "good friend". "Eason Chan?" Miriam asked. When she saw a half naked model in beach wear and he kneeled next to her, she laughed in embarrassment, "Why do you kneel in front of me? Makes me feel unnatural. Miriam disclosed that she had visited 3 sick children once and was very honored as it was their dreams to meet her. Although she only spent a few minutes with the children, they were very happy for a long time. Miriam revealed her dream is for the "Swine Flu" to stay away from Hong Kong. She went on to say that the Hong Kong Government has gained a lot of experience with "SARS" and have responded very quickly to the isolated outbreak. Earlier on, Miriam went to Korea, Wuhan and Beijing to work. She took with her some masks and disinfectant and also washes her hands frequently as a precaution.

Miriam at UNICEF Sichuan Event



Miriam had visited Sichuan last month, a year after the earthquake. Yesterday Miriam attended the event at Causeway Bay Time Square as the ambassador of Hong Kong UNICEF, together with Astrid Chan and artist Carrie Chau. Video clips of their Sichuan visit was played at the event. Miriam said the trip was to inspect the rebuilding work after the Sichuan earthquake and to see how donated materials have helped the victims. Many houses have be rebuilt and are strong and sturdy. However the problem of drinking water hasn't been solved. Many water purifier are therefore built. Most ideally is for every household to have their own toilet. 512 Earthquake's anniversary is coming soon. Will Miriam be attending anniversary events? Miriam said, "TVB should be having a show. I'll be going to Beijing for work on the 10th. If I can rush back in time I'll attend."

Miriam visited victims of Sichuan earthquake last year with other representatives from show biz. This year Miriam returned to the place and what she felt was no longer sorrow but pairs of hopeful eyes.

Miriam, Louis Koo, Charlie Young and Astrid Chan went to visit the rebuilt schools and houses. Although the affected areas have been re-organised one year after the earthquake, health and environmental issues are still awaiting improvement. To increase the victims' knowledge, classes were specially set up. Miriam and the rest attended the class for half a day. Miriam who was once a nurse, visited the clinic to see pregnant ladies accepting check ups and doctors injecting immunisation and doing body checks for children.

The children do not understand the traumas brought by the disaster and continue to live happily. They hugged Miriam as she distributed stationery and sweets to them. She also played piano, sang with them and played puzzle blocks together. Miriam said, "The children are very innocent. One of them suddenly said 'sister, I want to jump down.', I got a shock and immediately grabbed him."

Visiting the place again after a year, Miriam felt the victims have recovered a lot and are not as miserable as last time, "There's no problem as long as we don't dig deep into their hearts. They talk enthusiastically. There are many things in this world we can't control, we are actually very small. Hence I'd like to help others with my capability, so that life can be stronger!"

She praised the three of them who went to Sichuan twice in the last two years to send hope and encouragement to the local people as well as helping to oversee the progress and development of the rebuilding work.

Miriam, Louis and Charlie expressed their wish to re-visit Sichuan, to send their love and hope to the children who were affected by the earthquake again.

Miriam sang a new song at the TVB 512 Show. It's called 麥芽糖, translated to "Maltose" in english. Lyrics by Lam Jik and arranged by Eric Kwok?(I think) The song is pretty okay, not the best or most appealing/unique, and what i imagined it would be. It's more like her the type of her AAL song & Wonder Miriam. It sounds quite sweet and positive. I still like it, just not obsessed. ;D You hear a lot of guitar in the background and piano in the beginning. She performed it quite okay for the first time ever live. =3 It's perfect for the Sichuan show and the message it displays, and it has a decent melody. It gets better with every listen and i still appreciate everything she does and will support her! I'll have to wait and listen to the full version and see. :]

Miriam Yeung: Dancing and waving with a knife

Miriam Yeung is the spokesperson for Nestle Beverages Company. The other day, she was filming the promotion commercial in which she was leading a group of people waving the knives and dancing together. The commercial depicts Miriam and her friends participating in a carnival. They were dancing as well as cutting the Aloe Vera and pears to make "Aloe Vera and Pear" tea. They had to get ready for the shooting at five O'clock in the morning to catch the daybreak. Although the commercial took two days to finish, Miriam didn't feel tired at all because she likes outdoor shooting, in particular under the natural sunlight. She reckons morning is the best part of the day and a lot of people get so much energy early in the morning.

An orange vintage car was also a part of the commercial. When Miriam saw the car, she wanted to take a ride in it. The crews were very worry about her, they quickly found a driver to drive her around. Miriam smiled "As a matter of fact, I love driving. I am also interested in vintage car too, only I never had a chance to sit in one. Today, my wish comes true."

Commercial Shoot for Nestle Beverage




Miriam has become the spokesperson for Nestle's new beverage. In the commercial, Miriam has a fresh summer image and it's about her attending a carnival with friends, dancing while cutting aloe vera. Miriam said she seldom goes into the kitchen, "Cutting aloe vera with knife this time is probably the longest time I've used a knife!"

Miriam found out something during the shoot and got a shock, "I really got a shock when the director passed me the full aloe vera, because those we usually eat are little bits. First time holding to a whole aloe vera, it's quite heavy! I'm of course happy to be the spokesperson for a product I like, especially it's my favorite pear tea!"

The commercial was shot on a piece of grassland for 2 days. Miriam did not have any complaints for having to lead the talents in rehearsing a dance, "Good production needs time. Most importantly is to leave a deep impression to audience. I like outdoor shoots too."

When Miriam saw an orange antique car at the shoot, she was very excited, "I love to drive! I have special interest in antique cars but never had the chance to drive, now I've fulfilled my dream!"

Okay, so apparently the song that Miriam sang on TVB'S 512 Show 麥芽糖 is not necessarily the song that she will be plugging! 麥芽糖 is growing on me though, but not the song i would want Miriam to plug! Miriam attended Luk Wing's stand-up comedy show. When being asked if she was worried that her rumour with Real Ting will be used as a joke by Luk Wing, she said, "I don't care that much after being friends with him. He's fast-thinking. I'm not scared." Will she hold a stand-up comedy like Luk Wing? She replied she doesn't have the talent. Edison Chen returned Hong Kong recently, has she met him? She said, "Saw him backstage just now, he looks energetic. But we didn't have time to talk." If Edison invests on a movie, will she accept the job? She replied, "I'm ok if it's suitable. It is an open secret that Miriam Yeung and Real Ding are dating. Miriam was seen wearing a diamond "RM" pendant when she attended an activity at Radio Hong Kong yesterday. She admitted that it was a birthday present from a very close friend, unwittingly admitted it was from her boyfriend.

Miriam attended the "Solar Project" activity yesterday and she sang the ever popular "Story of Ah Shun"(阿信的故事) Miriam expressed that she has been very busy recording her new album which has to be finished by September. This is because she will be working on Johnny To's new film, and she is waiting for the script at the moment. There was a rumor that Andy Lau was supposed to be acting in it, but due to his birthday, also in September, he may not want to take part in it. Reporter asked how is she going to persuade Andy to be in the movie, Miriam said this is a very important task, she is leaving it to the boss to do it. Talking about Kelly who has a baby boy, Miriam said she had sent her congratulations to Kelly through a friend, and she will be giving her the present later on.

Reporter pointed out to Miriam that she has been seen wearing the necklace with a diamond RM pendant, Miriam said she doesn't wear it everyday. She went on to say "I have many necklaces with different letters as pendant. I don't care what other people think, I will continue wearing this one." Miriam @ UNICEF visit to Yunan and response to Ronald Cheng's rumour

UNICEF ambassador Miriam set off to Yunan to visit the victims of last Thursday's earthquake and to understand the rescue work of UNICEF. Next Monday, Miriam will hold a press conference in Hong Kong to share her feelings of this trip.

Miriam will visit the residents who are staying in temporary tents, participate in distribution of emergency resources and inspect schools and medical facilities that are damaged by the earthquake. Miriam is not worried about the aftershocks and only prepared asthma medicine. Miriam had learnt about Kelly Chen giving birth to a son Chace Lau from the papers, but she hasn't got a chance to congratulate her in person. When asked if Miriam has the urge to give birth? She said, "Only give birth to an album in Sept." There are continuous rumours of her getting married this year. She said the media are more concerned about her marriage than her own parents.

Theresa Fu has revealed about a love cheater in her new book and many guessed it's Ronald Cheng. Miriam hasn't read about it but totally trust Ronald. Even though he has glib mouth, he's definitely not a love cheater. Miriam will be hosting for Mr Hong Kong again this year. Her performance was being critisized last year for always laughing in the show. She had initially rejected the offer but was being approached by the producer again. She said, "Actually I didn't laugh a lot last year, I only laughed when the camera is not rolling."

Miriam at Press Con of UNICEF visit to Yunan




UNICEF ambassador Miriam went to Yunan Yao'an province for charity visit. She held a press conference to share her experience during this 3 days trip.

She didn't go deep to the disaster area due to safety problem, but had gone up to hills more than 3000 meters high. "Luckily the children were on holiday and not in the classrooms during the earthquake. The adults had gone to the fields. However, many houses have collapsed. We brought daily necessities and teaching materials for the children. School reopens in a month! I have many experience before this trip and will bring along medicine for asthma. Luckily it didn't relapse, just become tanned! (Did boyfriend remind her to be careful?) I'm 30 over and know how to take care of myself! (Did Real Ting remind her to bring asthma medicine?) I had been a nurse!" To promote charity, she'll ask her friends to go visit too, but this trip needed permits so only 4 from Hong Kong and 4 from Beijing UNICEF had gone for this trip.

Miriam mentioned there's problems with her vocal chord and will be going to see the doctor, "Doctor asked me to talk loudly but I'm worried that 3 years old kid will say that I'm retarded!" Is there a need for surgery? "No need! It's only strain. Doctor asked me to rest and practice making sound, perhaps I can talk with falsetto!"
