I think out of all the tvb series, I would always prefer mystery or detective kind of series! I find them so suspenseful and you're like on the edge of your seat trying to discover the crime and the murderer. However not all series allow you to guess, because there are some series that are really bad at showing crime scenes. For example the crime might be really twisted, like this thing I'm watching on tv right now, is really crappy. The crime doesn't even make sense!

I like comedy, suspense, mystery, action, and love. Not so much of family genre.
But currently I'm watching Love Bond. '

I only like mystery, scary, comedy, and action series. They're exciting and makes you want to keep watching episode after episode until the series is over.

I nomally love comedy, but I find that most of the time the acting is exaggerated..very fake..and very dumb..

I like "love and family" tvbs are so good at the family stuff that it should get awards lol, the love is not tat dramatic but its more of how it would be like if it was in real life so that makes it good.

Usually i like to watch the ancient time series.......the wuxia ones. But then sometimes when there is abolutely nothin to watch, i can watch just about anything. But first preference of course is the Wuxia series!!

Funny: when i feel energetic and wants to laught

I like the detective ones...but their so predictable you can always guess who the murdere or criminal is before they even solve the case

I like series about business competition...their realistic and their so fun and exciting to watch

i like the costume dramas like point of no return - ones that are set in the 20's to 70's....not quite ancient and not really modern either....
the cop/investigating shows are quite good as well....esp. when they incorporate love/relationships with suspense and mystery....

hmm i like love, action and scary hahaha last would most likely be comedy. i wouldnt mind a lil comedy in some like shades of truth [which i love] buh too comedy like VOH.. it was relaly good wen i first episode but it does get draggy not to mention lame ><"

I perfer mystery and detective series. Keeps you thinking but sometimes it's too predictable.

I prefer almost all kind of series that TVB makes except the old era ones... excluding Virtues of Harmony I... Other than that, all genres are great.

I love wuxia series and any series based in ancient times.
Next would be supernatural or fantasy series in modern or anicent times.

I prefer Love, Comedy, and Family. Therefore I like modern series over ancient series.

mystery and detective movies are good but i always seem to know who the criminals are. they are so predictable.

preferably a comedy with light action, drama, and/or romance. i stress the word 'light', because if they overdo it, then it's just not appealing to me. especially the romance part.

I love the comedy and love series for TVB. TVB makes the funnies series. It is so much better than those series made in China or Taiwan.

i'll watch juat about any type of series... maybe prefer something with MYSTERY and ACTION... i like horror series too... but haven't really seen any good ones for a while

The types of series that i like to watch are mystery-detective-police types. They get me wanting to keep watching the next episodes to see what happens. comedys are also good types of series i'd like to watch.

I love humor the most then action and about everything else follows after that. Hate horror ones though they are pretty predictable n they all look the same n also my parents n sister keep jumpin on me wen they get shocked freaken ruins it even more.

I don't like it when a series is too much of one genre - I mean, a love story is inevitable in every series, which is great. The best series are really mixtures of all of them. My favourite combination is a detective/romance storyline like DIF IV or To Catch the Uncatchable. But the other really touching one doesn't quite have a genre - it's plainly 'forbidden love' - when for example, one is evil and the other is good or they can't be together because of parents or something. It's really, really good to watch them sacrifice so much for each other and if the story has a good ending, then it's always worthwhile.

I like the romantic comedy best, especially those that is set in ancient. Examples are:

i like the series with mystery and actions!! I'm not a big fan of love genre series though. they are so repetitive. the series that i find really interesting so far is:
-Misleading Tracks
-Shades of Truth
-and Split Seconds

one series dat i absolutely despise is the "sunshine hearbeat" one, that is abosolutely rubbish. that series basically was made up of a bunch of flashbacks and different camera angles close up on the three main characters to exagerrate their beauty.

i prefer series that contains mystery, horror, humour, investigations, and love (but wif good ending) ... hehe

my favourite genre has to be fighting. the gol chon cos i really like the special effects and the costumes actors/actresses wear are usually very nice.

Mystery & Action... The suspense and action keeps me interested.

I prefer romantic comedies where I can laugh through the movie, but I don't really like silly comedies.

I like mystery-detective the best. Series like Greed Mask, TGUIT, or DIF. Action, suspense, and interesting plots all into one. It's been quite a while since TVB last made a series from this genre.
