Storyline

Kim Jae Won and Eugene plays a young couple who have a 5 year old daughter that has leukemia, and depicts the wonderful true relationship between them, bringing out the story of Wonderful Life. They had met in extraordinary circumstances in Singapore while on a vacation there and ends up having a one-night stand and from then on, their lives are bound together as they struggle with raising a baby.

Lee Ji Hoon is their friend and competing for Eugene's love with Kim Jae Won


Han Eun Jung plays Kim Jae Won's former love interest and will continue to be a hindrance to his relationship with Eugene.

After getting married and graduating from university, Kim Jae Won becomes an assistant pilot while Eugene becomes a staff Kids Bear (owned by Lee Ji Hoon's family). Eugene feels that unwed mother and a wife status does not make much of a difference at first but gradually gets used to it. Their child however develops leukeumia and this results in them handling matters in a more mature manner.

In the last round of evaluation on the role Jung Se Jin (Á¤¼¼Áø), the production team prefers Eugene to Han Ji Hye. Eugene¡¯s last drama ¡°Last Dance Together¡± scored TV ratings above 20%. Her current project is to collaborate with Yoo Jae Suk and Tak Jae Hoon (À¯Àç¼® ŹÀçÈÆ) as the MC of KBS show ¡°Friends (ÇÁ·»Áî)¡±.

Synopsis:

Han Seung Wan and Jung Se Jin bumps into each other at the airport and accidentally take each other's passports. They meet again and Seung Wan and Se Jin end up spending the day together. Both having to deal with love complications, they end up drunk and having a one night stand. Back in Korea, Se Jin discovers she is pregnant and leaves to have the baby alone. A year later, Se Jin's clueless sister ends up spilling the secret to Seung-Wan at his engagement party, showing up with his baby daughter. Seung-wan and Se Jin are then forced to marry by their respective families. Complicated love takes place between Do Hyun, Se Jin, Chae Young and Seung-Wan. The rest of the story revolves around the family's journey in learning to take responsibility, and learning to love each other.

i saw episodes the first four episodes raw...seems really funny. wished i understood what was going on...(sighs) anyways...here's some cute pictures from their wedding for episode 5 i think.






this drama is currently showing in korea on mon/tues. very funny. it stars kim jae won and eugene. how they have a one night stand and have a baby girl. when the girl is five...she has leukemia and the story develops on how the character will deal with the situation and stuff.

3/18/05 – On 3/17, Eugene and Kim Jae Won film the wedding scene for the drama “Wonderful Life” at BearCastle of Kyunggkido. The shooting of the scene starts from 7:00p.m. for 3 hours. Eugene plays piano while she is waiting for the start of the filming. She states, “I filmed an engagement ceremony in my last drama, but this time is the wedding ceremony. Putting on the wedding dress makes me want to get married. It is nice to have a wedding ceremony held at this beautiful place.” The scene will be aired on 3/21.

This is my favorite Korean Drama so far. I really like Eugene, Kim Jae Won and Shinbi. Shinbi is so cute. The relationship between Eugene and Kim Jae Won is quite interesting.

the drama is getting sadder and sadder....i've been watching it raw up to eps 14 and the last two episode made me cry really hard...

Eugene actualli cut her hair for this drama... tho lately she's been really busy.. it started with her coming back album... then with Your last dance is with me... and now wonderful life... this show already finished in korea since yesterday... the final episode should release soon... i will miss this show... eugene is kinda chubby in this drama but nevertheless pretty... her and KimJaeWon won the most favorite couple award with like 4000 sumtin votes out of 9000 *voting from korea websites* and otha couple each only goh like hundreds.. i was surprise... at first i didnt lik KimJaeWon much.. but at the end he starts to look better to me for sum reason.. i think it's the hair.. and he's so tall... n Eugene is lik short.. but that's ok they still look cute together... it's kinda weird tho... in the beginning this drama was all happy and funny and towards to end it kinda get emotional and teary =P but it's a good drama

jus finish watching the whole series....i like this series when the story went along....kjw as usual..impresses me with his acting skills...lol...he was hilarious in the first few episodes...hahaha..how he get his eyes so big when he's surprised

I like the first part. It's was funny. Shinbi was very cute. Heheh when she's going to her grandpa. She said in korean and in english Grandpa i love you. It was so sweet.

It is a great show which is under rated. May be Korean don't like the storyline... I heard Korean are quite conservative. For me, I can accept the story... It is very funny and warmed shows. I find it much better than Save the last Dance..

Yup, I believe this is really a great drama, perhaps korean people still find it harder to accept such a storyline.

I didn't know that gal was Eugene but she seems quite pleasant looking but without makeup especially after the swimming pool scene can see that she's just quite plain, quite SHG..

This show is worth watching. The star of the show should give credit to the little five years old little girl. I was amazed she speaks very well at such tender age.

The most touching scene is when Kim Jae Won was pretending to be a bear for sinfei to see. The dad was crying afterwards!! T_T

The little girl is so cute in the series. THis show is really interesting. Eugene is pretty with the short bob haircut. BUt they said its a wig.

I remember that the girl had a little role in my 19 years old sister in law, but it was very little! She is so good at acting. I think that some korean actors and actresses are more professional in acting than some hk stars.

I read that they are together for 5 years then they broke up because of Park Yong Ha.The male lead in Eugene's first series Loving you.I also read that the break up is controversial because Eugene is still with that guy when she and Park yong ha got together.I will post some of the article when I found one.

As the picture of Park Yong Ha and Eugene started traveling through various Korean websites this week, it has caused quite a stir in BM entertainment, Eugene's new recording company. The picture, taken at Ryu Si Won's party, reveals Eugene happily on Park's lap. The two have continuously denied their close relationship, which is why this picture has cause such a controversy. BM entertainment believes this scandal has tainted Eugene's image (of which they invested $500,000 to make), and they have recently given Eugene a warning as to not be with Park Yong Ha. yup, i prefer the 2nd leading guy. he's so good looking especially when he give a cheeky smile. he's more mature compared to the lead actor. i think eugene suits him and make a great pair.

I have watched the first 7 episodes and I like Eugene with the Second Lead actor too. They are more suitable with one another. KJW is a little annoying in this. But its a good series

as far as i know, he hasn't been in any other dramas. he is mainly a singer. he has some solo albums out. he formed a group with KangTa (H.O.T.) and Shin Hyesung (Shinhwa) called 'S' or Group S and they have some songs. he's been in two movies, Wet Dreams 2 and Lovely Rivals.

edit: i just checked the soompi thread and he was also in Pretty Woman, a drama in 2003.

I was searching thru all those news about Eugene and never knew that she was once with Lee Ji hoon... i knew she was rumored with Park Young Ha *who i dont like* but never ever knew that she was with Lee Ji hoon... so surprised... and they werent afraid to do a series together after this? Tho I agree with some people that I like Lee Ji Hoon better than Kim Jae Won in this series... his attitude toward Eugene was so much better comparing to Jae Won... but nevertheless i still love him =P Though i dont know y some ppl don't like eugene n KJW together. When this drama was still airing in Korea they were voted as the most compatible couple in one of those polls... online polls i think =/ but yeah... their votes throw off their opponents so bad...
