haha... I just started watching ISWAK I realised that ZS in this drama is not as cool as the one in the Jap version, which I recall watching a few years ago.. haha.. He is more sensitive towards XQ... and I can see the love budd growing unlk the Jap version haha.. nice nice.. Im looking forward to better episodes.. haha..

I know some ppl are bored with the series but i actually like the development of the story. It follows a lot of the manga, it they did otherwise it would change the storyline.
Bored? No way. I love the way the director potray how ZS develop his feeling over time towards XQ. Though it is heart-wrenching at times to see how he treated her and how she's so pathetic and overly desperate, I stii look forward for the next episode and the next and the next.....

Totally agree! This only gets better and not boring. It makes more sense to see how ZS slowly progresses into the love he has for XQ.

In the previews for episode 12, ZS kisses XQ without realizing that his little brother is watching. Finally! It's his turn to show how he really feels. I know that he gives us subtle hints but it was driving me crazy how much XQ was hurting over him. My fave scenes in episode 11 was her shower fantasy and the bedroom scene. XQ is so funny.

Same here! I'm still very much looking forward to Sundays to watch a new episode and I don't think it's draggy or boring at all! The series can drag on as much as it wants to! All the better for me!

after reading all the posts here for episode 11, i can't wait to watch it for myself!!! another half an hr to go for me, and download will be completed! i read that there's some problems with the quality for episode 11 for both icefish and ydy, so can anyone tell me which is better? icefish's has a small portion of the episode cut off, whereas the sound quality for ydy isn't that great, so which one is better?

It's like the excitement of seeing more cute, lovey dovey scenes are more important than the storyline. Hehehehehe... As for me, I wouldn't say this is a boring tv show, I'm just saying it's draggy. I feel that ep. 10 and 11 should have been combined into 30-minute or less timeframe Hopefully, we shall see no more of "beating the dead horse" kinda flow in the next ones, because if that happens...wow...that would suck big-o-time-o. Anyhoo, this show and Green Forest make Sunday worth looking forward to, don't you think so? You guys should try sneaking in "Hana Yori Dango" in between, because that one is released on Wednesdays. Hehehehe...then at least you have some fillers in between before getting your hand on ISWAK.

I think this series is so good but sometime it doesn't need to be draggy and XQ, she's cute but sumtime she's very annoying in chasing after ZS always. This really makes me tired watching her, why not they make ZS later the one who's gonna chase XQ? Besides, there's not a lot of lovey-dovey scenes bt ZS&XQ (compare to DBY). OH thanks. I found the d-addicts one. And, i'm watching green forest now too. It's getting more exciting for green forest i must admit but it started with a kiss to me's still better. But the show adds alot of redundant stuffs, i don't wan to know who her friends are going out with i only care bout ZS n XQ! one week onehour10mins is super less alr so the extra scenes can go away. And i guess maybe now it started with a kiss isn't very exciting perhaps cos they no longer live together. I watch back the first few epis where they still stay at the same house and it's hell alot cooler. Now to let them meet each other outside there will be so many extra scenes and they hardly meet n talk n everything =( But i hope ZS will move back soon and i still love the night at his house. At least it made up for seeing them not staying in the same house anymre for so loooong. The developement for ZS to like XQ might be very very very long and im waiting badly for something to happen. It's interesting...how they drag out this romance in like slow motion. There are moments when I don't want them to be together and there are time where I'm jumping out of my seat going "COME ON!" I think it makes the story a bit more realistic [in an otherwise, very unrealistic storyline] because unlike under romantic dramas, the guy falls in love with the girl in an instant but in ISWAK, it takes a while which makes any girl believe..hmmm, maybe that guy will like me someday, just need the patience. I'm not sure if I'm making much sense right now.

After the slight disappointment of ep 10, ep 11 was awesome. I haven't laughed that hard in a long while. usually i'm embarrassed for xiang qin, but this episode was definitely hilarious and it was mostly about them two. CAN'T wait for 12, finals kill everything
Is this series any good? I have never seen the main character (male) before and I'm not too fond of the female lead. I heard this series is super good though. But I'm still skeptical because of the characters.

) i skimmed thru it n it was kinda like.. errr to me because da guy seemed to be cold the whole time until like 2 minutes be4 da whole show ended.. tho however da main character is CUTEEE lol too bad he doesnt hav much movies out
the tw version of iswak is the BEST b/c the main male character (zs) is not so cold. i couldn't even finish reading the manga b/c i felt so sorry for the main female character (xq) always being rejected. the tw version has so many cute and sweet moments! hopefully there will be more to come!

Epi 11 is definitely one of the best episode... [SPOILER ALERT!!!]
I just colour the ones light that ppl hardly mention in previous posts.
Hmm... about the 2 girls (XQ's friends) talking about their boyfriends, I think it is necessary because this sort of affect XQ (she broke down eventually due to too much thinking). However maybe they should make it shorter... So got more XQ&ZS!... hehe...
Then another turning point was when XQ finally get the whole situation clear. That scene was hilarious (although got audio prob
) especially when ZS repeat what ZY's sis just said by shouting. I found out that in the ISWAK website they indicate the girl who ZS teach was ZY's cousin, but in the manga and the show it was ZY's sis.
Then there was one part where XQ woke up from her faint due to excessive coffee. The manager ask ZS to fetch her home since he knew her. XQ thought he was angry and she asked him "Are you angry with me?". You know what ZS did? He was smiling (with dimples!) and then suddenly turned around and scold her "Yes!". At that point, I was imagine grabbing his neck and strangling him but also couldn't help but smile at his evilness.
I notice when XQ and ZS were eating at his house, after ZS finish his food, he was like eyeing the zong zhi (some dumpling XQ and Jiang MAMA made). Then he quickly make an exit to sleep, haha!!! So sad, force himself not to eat those zongzhi.
Now is the bed scene my favourite. I don't want to mention the toilet scene cos it is just too ...
. I was like Go Go Kick his Butt!!! And I saw abit of Xiao Feng(Ariel's loud character in Love Contract) in her. After they woke up and ZS show XQ her sleep look on his laptop and claiming he got loads of it, I realise he and his mother share a common habit, DISCREETLY TAKE PHOTOS OF OTHERS!!! Hmm... about the 2 girls (XQ's friends) talking about their boyfriends, I think it is necessary because this sort of affect XQ (she broke down eventually due to too much thinking). However maybe they should make it shorter... So got more XQ&ZS!... hehe...
Then another turning point was when XQ finally get the whole situation clear. That scene was hilarious (although got audio prob
) especially when ZS repeat what ZY's sis just said by shouting. I found out that in the ISWAK website they indicate the girl who ZS teach was ZY's cousin, but in the manga and the show it was ZY's sis.Then there was one part where XQ woke up from her faint due to excessive coffee. The manager ask ZS to fetch her home since he knew her. XQ thought he was angry and she asked him "Are you angry with me?". You know what ZS did? He was smiling (with dimples!) and then suddenly turned around and scold her "Yes!". At that point, I was imagine grabbing his neck and strangling him but also couldn't help but smile at his evilness.
I notice when XQ and ZS were eating at his house, after ZS finish his food, he was like eyeing the zong zhi (some dumpling XQ and Jiang MAMA made). Then he quickly make an exit to sleep, haha!!! So sad, force himself not to eat those zongzhi.
Now is the bed scene my favourite. I don't want to mention the toilet scene cos it is just too ...
. I was like Go Go Kick his Butt!!! And I saw abit of Xiao Feng(Ariel's loud character in Love Contract) in her. After they woke up and ZS show XQ her sleep look on his laptop and claiming he got loads of it, I realise he and his mother share a common habit, DISCREETLY TAKE PHOTOS OF OTHERS!!! I was watching entertainment 100% and joecheng said that they have filmed an extra which will include NGs, the cut off scenes and some behind the scene stuffs. So lets anticipate it! Ariel even commented jokingly that this extra is even nicer then the whole show itself. haha
The part where Jin fell into the drain was hilarious , cant imagine still can sleep so soundly. Guess the bandage was overdone. But he is real sweet to XQ.
But the part where ZS was holding the umbrella for XQ was even sweeter. Just cant wake for ZS to realise who he really cares. For ZS, this kind of shy guy, after marriage, he shows all his mushy mushy to his love XQ, because I think he's afraid of failures???? and he wants to prove that he's independent????

yay! i'm almost done downloading ep 11. But I must say, this show is a bit draggy, but at the same time, it's starting to pick up again. It's so ironic how it's kinda realistic (it takes time to fall in love) but at the same time, the whole circumstances which makes the 2 go together is really weird. Oh well, Joe is kinda worth it!

You should definitely get the YDY version because the icefish version has 7 minutes of the show cut and it's an important part btw ZS & XQ too. The audio for the YDY is only a little out of sync for 14 minutes so it's not too bad. Better bad audio than nothing, don't you think?

i totttallyy thought there would be only 13 episodes and i think its kuz someone said that number earlier on and everyone stuck with that number. haha. and OMG. I KNOEEWE. ah jin's character is sooooo adorable. its like....awwwww....everyitme he's on. hahaha. he has such a simple dreaam. ^^
