i wonder how they are going to end ISWAK II becuase the original manga was never finished. the author passed away.....

hmm i think ZS looks better when he was in high school, i dont know i like his hair better stright

erm... actually quite a lot of people know. their friends definitely know. just that maybe those who don't know them, or the juniors that enter their university later than them didn't know. if u read the manga, you can see that ZS didn't kept it a secret. most of the times, it was XQ who didn't tell anyone, cos everyone was gushing about not believing ZS was married, and XQ didn't want to be the ostracised one so she didn't say. But, ZS was always the one "exposing" their marriage by looking for her, etc. it was quite funny, so for those who want to know more, go read the manga.

somehow i feel that the manga was almost finished when the author passed away. personally, i felt tht the manga would end with XQ getting pregnant. anyway, it's just what i think and feel here on my own judgement.

ZS took initiative to look XQ up?! OMG i cant wait for all the other episodes!!!!! as for the ending for ISWAk 2, i think it really depends on how its received by the audiences. because if it continues to do well im sure they will want a part 3 to make more money.

Yeah, it will be really cool if the producers and actors are going to make ISWAK2 cause it's really one of the best taiwanese idol dramas that i have ever watched! However, the ending can be really tricky since the author of the manga died even before he managed to complete the whole ISWAK manga series.

the first series was hehe a little harsh but it get better at the end

Cos I think ZS started liking her when she moved in. I remembered he looked at her like 'hey hey hey~' kind of way and was quite pleased that she was moving in. Perhaps it was subtle, but gradually feelings add on. =)

I dont think he meant ' 'hey hey hey when he looked at her. If U remembered about 35 mins onwards from Ep 1, XQ gave him a dressing down for looking down on people in front of everybody. She even mentioned," I'd rather die than ask for Your help' . I think when he looked at her at the part she was moving in. He meant...' EAT YOUR WORDS'.

I think ZS started to notice her and care for her is after he read her love letter...and that "notice and care"...is slowly developed into love....XQ determination and optimistic attitude...is what makes her atractive towards ZS...that's what my own opinion is...

I don't go to school in China, so I've been wondering, in episode 5, they were talking about the second button and how it's important. So what is the significance of the 2nd button? What does it mean when you recieve or give one away?

I think the button thingy is Japanese culture - since this movie story is based on manga.
Correct me if I'm wrong - but I think if you give your second button to the opposite sex, it means you like him/her.
If you receive it, means he/she likes you.

The original manga ended at the pt where xq might be pregnant..everything else like ah jin, ys etc have been pretty much settled..so i guess iswak 2 might end with a baby?



In the manga...i think he was quite irritated..until he saw her love letter while she was sleeping..think it was a mixture of attraction and curiousity (becos he is so smart/cold to the point of being selfish, he cant imagine smeone spending so much effort on another person). In the manga, right after he read the love letter, he protected xq from the pervert on the bus=) before that he was totally ignoring her plight.

I guess feelings slowly developed thru staying together, studying together..i think during the first kiss, he was already attracted thats y he kissed her in anger when she said she was going to fall for smeone else. In the manga, after kissing her, he said: "now lets see how you are gg to forget me".

By the time during the tennis training, he was already showing jealousy of the xue zhang who likes zy as he thinks that the guy has something gg on with xq. Thats y he was so angry with her (remember the dinner and the panty scenes??) I think by then he already realised he likes her (otherwise, y would he bother to go out on a date with her? clarify that he doesnt hate her but rather finds that she acts trouble to his boring life? clarify indirectly that he and zy are not cohabitating?? In the manga, it was obvious he only asked ys out to ask about xq)But i guess the true evidence is when he secretly kissed her...

In the manga, it wasnt really explain y he went for the rich gal. he just felt that it was more appropriate. until ah jin came along, he got quite jealous and the rest is history hehe. He finally told xq he likes her after the rain part in the manga:p

As for the part where he said: "kotoko doesnt noe how much i love her", that takes place in the after-marriage parts. The after-marriage parts are even sweeter keke.

hmm...i prefer joe wit curly hair!!!because i think da straight hair look so flat n fake...is like as though he's puttin on a wig..curls...suits him better!!!!hehhe...

I think zs in curly hair is more manga-lookalike. Not so much to iswak manga but very japanese manga. I prefer the curly hair too! but in str8 one, it's younger i guess? maybe they're trying to show him growing up.

And, as much as i wish zs fell for xq before xq know him or like since the first time he see her. I still feel that he started liking her after reading the love letter. plus i think the after-marriage life is so so so much sweeter. Zs will totally show his feelings openly. (: so looking forward to it!!

i juz re-watched episode 16... felt like crying during the scene where ZS ate the dinner that XQ prepared... it felt that ZS was trying to tell YS that their life is not gonna be as carefree as last time and that they should juz be contented with wat they have now...

and the scene where XQ hugged ZS... it felt so sad too cos ZS seemed to be veri stressed about work and that he had to quit sch and give up his dream of being a doctor... he was even trying to convince himself that he may even like the job at his dad's company...

overall episode 16 is sad... i tink episode 17 will be sad too cos he tell XQ to look for another guy, and that he is going to give up his love for XQ by marrying the rich girl so as to save his dad's company...

my favourite episode is still episode 14 where ZS specially came home to spend christmas eve with XQ... it was all so sweet
