As far as i know, he doesn't know that the jealous feeling he felt is called jealousy until part 2 when Ah Jin points it out to him. He is still clueless about some feelings, that's why he needs XQ by his side to show him the wonderful world filled with mixed feelings

Through that he is so intelligent, he seems to have alot things that he don't understand. He don't know that he feels is called jealous or love etc

I think it would be nice to see what ZS thinks too, becoz now we only see the serie from XQ point of view and about what she thinks mostly

yeah i agree with that because like he is use to her liking him and when she stops he feels like there is something missing in his life. I mean i guess its hard to realize that you love someone when uve never had that feeling before and never showed any emotions at all. When I first started watching this show, I was kinda skeptical, but now I'm hooked. I am however annoyed by Ariel's character many times by the stupid stuff she does (no IQ or EQ), but I guess that's part of her charm. I'm happy that there is going to be ISWAK2 as well. I've watched until episode 17, can't wait for 18 and 19 to come out. Waiting for someone to post episode 18 and episode 19 onto D-Addict site. Teehee

Hmm... it's not the first time that ZQ & XQ sleep on the same bed. Since he slept on the same bed with her when she stayed over at his apartment during the rainstorm. But I guess this time it's much cuter since it's probably after he asked her father for her hand in marriage.

In the past..while i think zs started out feeling curious (remember the part where he looked at xq's love letter and wondered what is love?) and he was jealous of the tennis senior!!! until he realised that the senior actually likes zy...and he bothers to explain to xq about him not staying with zy and he also told ah jin and wr that the person xq likes is him..

Low EQ? No way. Even he hates XQ in the beginning, he still helped her a lot. In the hospital scene, U can see his soft side towards XQ and the sick boy, Ah Nou. He's just like to hide his true self from people, hence
others see him as selfish and arrogant. A good thing, he's beginning to open up to people after meeting XQ. I think he knows he has feeling for XQ but didn't want to admit it. Afraid he'll lose face and be under his mother's control..

when ZS read XQ's letter and asked himself wat is love, we can tell he hasn't ever loved anyone so he doesnt know how love feels. and slowly he started to like XQ just that he never realized it until the 2 rivals appear. he's such a smart person, he must have realized that he liked her but dint want to admit.

as for the ah jin proposal, it served as a wake up call to let him know that secretly liking XQ isn't going to be worth anything if he doesnt act quick and woo her!! because all these while he just assumed XQ will forever like and be around him so he took her for granted.

with the proposal, he was forced to face up to reality and choose. thank goodness we all know he chose XQ!! whew...

ok i dont know why but i feel like listing all the nice things that zs has done for xq

*well he helped her study but it was by force but the second time during the winter vacation he helped her b/c he was being nice.
*he carried her to the hospital when she was sick
*he helped her cook for the tennis club people
*he saved her from the bad people at the movies
*he carried her after she twised her ankel and he gave her a piggyback ride when going home
*he took her home after the tennis club party thing
* and when she drink too much coffee, he held the umbrela down to her, he also let her sleep in his bed.
* he told her a lot of things that he did not tell other people
* he was ther when his bother was sick to comfort xq..that esp was soooooo sweet when he was hugging her and saying "thank god u were here"...awwww lOVES IT.

there are more i cant think of any right now but if u have any please list it!! hehe

* When ZS rescued XQ from those "perverts" on the bus on their way to school
* When he came home from the party during Christmas when XQ was home alone after her friends ditched her for their BFs. He had her favorite chocolate cake & KFC
* When they were working on ZS's father's workplace - during the presentation, when XQ spilled the tea/coffee & the coworkers were picking on her, ZS said that she was the one who helped to come up with the idea that he was talking about. (at least he gave her due credit and the coworkers stopped criticising her)

I love the show!! I can't wait to see 18!!! At first i can't believe that he is engaged to this another girl that he barely knew!!! I was sooo mad at him!!LOL

* He still eats the food that XQ cook for him eventhough it tastes bad '
* He lets XQ wear the new shirt - you know the one that XQ bought for him when they had their first date.
* He tried to explain to XQ that he came to ZY's house only for tutoring her sister not because he dates her/live with her - therefore, he asked ZY's sister to visit him at school.
* He was jealous over that young guy (forgot his name) but he was releived after he knows that XQ didn't really date that young guy
* He always thinks about XQ (eventhough he dates that new rich girl) & tease XQ (hahahaha....)

I couldnt help adding on to the list hehe
- when xq went into the top 100, zs who usually is not interested at all in results, went to look for her name. he tried not to smile when he saw her name. SO CUTE!!
- they went on a date and zs was so sporting- cycling, in the river blah blah and telling xq he doesnt disliker henoreferals)=)
- Asking ys out to ask about xq and then purposely let her noe he isnt cohabitating with zy
- He kept her note!!! (the part where she asked him out for dinner while wking) and ate her food w/ocomplaints.
- he rushed to get her birthday present for him
- the secret kiss at the hospital!!
- the part where he laughed with zq together with the bus after ah jin and wuren's fight--never see him laughso happily before!!!!
- the part where xq comforted him after his dad was in the hospital..he was actually seeking comfort from her..

SO SWEET!!!

i have a small qn: the ep 14 when they celebrated xmas together: they ate the chocalate cake and the scene ended with a shot of their feet in slippers as well as xiaokeai and also ANOTHER cake which looks like strawberry cake. What was the cake doing there??? okie..mebbe i think too much..but i am curious...

You know, ZS said that he also bought the big cake for the dog, but then XQ laugh it off by saying Ke Ai can't eat too much of human food? Later they show the small cake, it means that ZS alrady bought a separate piece of cake for Ke Ai, so the big chocolate cake is actually for XQ He is so sweet then because chocolate is her fav. He said there was no other favors just to hide the fact that he only wanted to get the cake that XQ would like Can say that he cares quite a lot about XQ

ayoh, I just rewatched ep 9 and just spot one thing : Not only his legs are smooth, I don't think he even has armpit hair either. You can see it from the scene where he took off his shirt to squeeze the water out. Does he shave his armpits too? O.O Kinda girly to me. Anyway, he looks better with clothes on. I like him when he's wearing his bath rope

after reading thru the posts, i totally agree with u all's analysis of ZS... i feel that ZS's life have been so smooth sailing all the time cos of his IQ200, he don't need to be stress about anything cos he can do everything veri well... so mabbe dats why when it comes to love, he is suddenly at lost and dunno how to express his feelings...

and oso he knows XQ will love him no matter wat so he took her for granted... dats why when XQ decided to marry Ah Jin, den ZS realise he cannot be without XQ... he sub-consiously had been relying on XQ a lot, whenever he has any problems, XQ is the only person he will talk to... XQ is the only person he will open up to, he used to be quite introvert and proud before he met XQ...

You guys should read the manga, or rather, I read the summaries of ISWAK part 2, and in a side story, it was revealed why ZS is so emotionally turned off. He was made to wear girl's clothing when he was a kid(as we all know by now), so when he reappeared as a boy everyone called him a freak. Eventually he swore never to care about stupid people again.

i was quite shocked when i first saw that ZS mother dressed him up as a girl when he was young... i mean it can be emotionally disturbing for any young boy, let alone someone with an IQ of 200...

but i guess... jap manga can be quite exaggerated sometimes... dats why jap manga is nice to read

but isnt it like when you love someone too much and can't live without him/her, you may not dare to show your true self out of fear of losing your loved one? But I think this doesn't apply to ZS and Xq's situation.
I also agree that ZS is really himself around XQ, except for the fact that he's still hiding his true feelings towards her. When he finally figures out his love for her, he'll be totally open up to her emotionally

Some people even write little stories about what they think of the series, also there are a lot of news about the series, joe, and ariel. If anyone can read chinese, I definitely recommend you go check out the forum.
