Right, sorry, I think I meant he's hinting that he doesn't want to marry her NOT because he doesn't like her
But yes, he's just trying to take control of his life, but finally, he somehow still falls into his mom's plan, not in a bad way anyway

Maybe the mom-son bond is reall strong in this case

I got this post form DAddict, quoted from Soompi, its really a good analysis of the ZS-ZQ-Ah Jin love triangle:
<quote quybo from soompi forums>
well u guys it's not Zhi Shu's fault...or i should say Joe's fault...that's just Zhi Shu's natur
e. he loves Xiang Qing, he's just a confused guy...like most guys out there...*rolls eyes* so typical...but i'm sure when he realizes how much Xiang Qing really means to him, he'll be all over her!! it's that whole idea of u don't realize how important something or someone is to u until u lose it, and most of the time when u realize it it's too late and u can't get it back. but thankfully for Zhi Shu he'll get a second chance with Xiang Qing.
as for Ah Jin, it's only cute because he's so faithful to Xiang Qing and he's not ashamed to show his love, however, u can tell from that scene with him eating her "food" that his love is all on the surface. Like with Zhi Shu (though we never see him acutally eating those bentos or whatever u wanna call it) it's implied that he eats it without complaints or without as if he's forced to. and another thing with Ah Jin is he's really never been with Xiang Qing, and for me it's sorta like that forbidden fruit theory, u tend to crave what u can't have. Ah Jin's case is perfectly suited for that analogy.
one last note, i personally think that although we see Zhi Shu from time to time emotionally hurt Xiang Qing, but we also get to see from his facial expressions, his subtle actions once he realizes Xiang Qing's broken heart that he too does not feel comfortable. that he knows his wrongful doings, however because of certain circumstances he cannot confront those problems and resolve them in an open manner. he instead, most of the time, resolve them subtly
