haha he was jealous! xq wanted to put toothpaste on her burn. zs stopped her..and then he asked xq: "Why were u so nervous when u saw me just nw?" Xq said she wasnt. Zs then said: "I thought u were out with that guy, and u would spend the night with him." Xq got agitated and asked him not to talk nonsense...haha

And then she told zs that she thinks he is really suitable as a doctor. zs then replied: "If knowing how to handle such a situation makes one a doctor, anyone can be doctors."...xq then thought to herself that she really really likes zs very much. She then asked zs how long she would have to let the water run..zs said they can stop once her burn doesnt hurt. at that point, xq decided she would say that her burn still hurts lolz...oh and he commented that xq's legs are plump haha.

Hey i am watching it nw..think it is sad but sweet..but still cant believe i gotta wait two weeks. i have been doing nothing but watch this show..i am half don't want it to end cos i would feel so empty...yet half wamt it to end so i can start doing proper work hahaha....

ARHHHHH!! the kissing scene was not in eps 18 i was kinda really looking forward to it n eps 18 to me is a bit disappointing because there was so little part on ZS n XQ instead is more on ah Jin n XQ which i thought the dating part passed extremely slowly though it was really sweet of ah Jin to try to cheer XQ up but ah Jin is just... not ZS so the feeling is different when u watch it n i hate it when ZS told his daddy that he wanna introduce his girlfriend to him because THE GIRL IS NOT XQ
however in this eps i for once felt that YS is starting to treat XQ as his 'sister-in-law' haha which i was really supporting him when he kinda spoke up for her
haha n i really really wanna watch the last episode which is 2 weeks away but i really don't tink that the last episode will be onli 30 mins because there seems to be still alot to cover in the show so hopefully there would be more than 30 mins

Yep, kinda disturbing. I still can't get that image out of my mind. I wonder if it's a kinda tounge kiss though. And yes, I'm also worried as to whether he ENJOYED the kiss, considering he's such a mischievous guy in real life.

anywho... i kinda skimmed through 18 but i felt REALLY sorry for AJ. i'm beginning to like him more and more! i feel soooo bad for him though. i was really rooting for him in this ep and i was hoping he would really get her at the end. but then watching the preview for next ep i knew he wasn't goign to get her and i was even more heart broken. he had the cutest smile when he was on dates with her. it was good acting... cause you could really feel that he really did care for her a lot... not all that nonsense crush he had in the beginning.

hey just watched ep 18 on youtube..i thought it was very nice! i mean no sweet parts exp the bathroom but..aiyo..it sets the right mood for last ep. BUT we have to wait two weeks! damm!

i think last ep cant be 30 mins:- have to cover xq and zs meeting each other on the date, ah jin proposal, kiss in the rain, apologise to the old man and ah jin..too many things!

@princess56: I agree with you, can't fit that much into 30 mins. Maybe the sepcial is the one that's 30 min, and ep 19 is like a normal one. I hope so though, want to see more of ZS and XQ to make up for ep 17 and 18.

it is impossible for episode 19, which is supposed to be the last episode of ISWAK, to be only 30 min long... the preview for episode 19 is already 3 min long!! how to finish eveything in 30 min???

i can only tink of 3 senarios:
(1) episode 19 is actually 2 hours long (its 30min extra ISWAK instead of wat we tot of as a 30min show)
(2) there is an extra episode 20, which is 30min long
(3) they may show 30min of the show during the special on 29/1 (but i tink this is not very possible)

quite disappointed the rain scene did not appear on episode 18, was quite hyped up about episode 18 two weeks ago after watching the preview...

hope the VCD comes out soon... i am gonna buy it

now hoping to be able to get episode 18... even though i watched it on youtube already haha

actually the only thing i like about episode 18 is the last 3 min special preview of episode 19... i wonder if can only d/l that portion or not haha

Oh my god, that The Rose clip has so many disgusting scenes between them. Looks like the other guy is trying to RAPE Joe a few times, towards the end, it even suggests that they've slept together. I can't believe this. Joe is so feminine here and so GAY. The clip itself is gay too. It's just disgusting.

omg i actually like Joe better in The Rose because

1) He is actually acting like his own real personality to some extent in the show
2) I actually like the boyxboy kissing scenes because I find them quite sweet and innocent. Not really as hardcore as you guys thought them out to be.
3) he is super funny and sweet in the show

I know some people thinks that eps 18 is boring and a bit draggy (myself included), but I was thinking that if the date part between XQ and AJ was not shown, then it would be weird to just see AJ propose to XQ out of the blue. There's gotta be something that leads to it. And their dates was just what was needed. And it did shows us how much Ah Jin likes XQ and is willing to do for her. He is so considerate of her too, trying not to force her into making any decision. What a great guy....

Wow - lots of strong opinions I actually wasn't too bothered by episode 18. I liked it for what it was. In addition, I knew that next week is CNY - so I figured they would show a special instead of regularly scheduled programs. I'm glad it's a ISWAK special as opposed to the regular CNY specials.

I think a lot happens in epi. 18 even though it might not have been what people wanted to see. I agree with the person that said it was important to show it to make what happens next more sweet. XQ is in despair, as very clearly ZS made a choice to pick the rich girl at this point in the epi. And I think she hits a point where she has to consider "moving on"… just like the first time ZS kisses her - when she states that she's going to forget him & find someone 1,000x, 10,000 times better than him. Truth be told, I thought the episode was extremely realistic. Ah Jin has been in her life as a friend since high school too… so I thought it was quite sweet, with some reservation, that we could see that XQ was having fun w/AJ.

I really like how it paves the way for ZS to be forced to face his own true feelings for XQ. After this episode, ZS should feel threatened (and clearly he does). XQ did seem like she had fun w/AJ & her friends at the beach & a bit at the zoo. He's a definitely a contender. In a way, it was partially AJ's utter & complete devotion to XQ that will force ZS's to reveal what's really in his heart in the final episode. patiently awaiting the finale.

Without AJ's perserverance in fighting for his feeling towards XQ, ZS would've never realized his true feelings... and who knows how draggy it could've been if it turns out that way. So, thank God there's AJ and his stubborness in XQ's life.. one of these days, he will come to his senses and get over XQ ^__^

After watching 18, i also think it is ok. Not as bad, i like it.

Ah Jin did say to XQ, let's get marry. But in the next eps, he will do a formal proposal to Xq, you know...with the dinner, flowers, ring, and down on one knee.

The only thing i'm wondering about is whether ZS and XQ would do the proposals in the same night. Judging from the clothes, it looks like ZS runs from his proposal party to stop ZQ from accepting ah jins proposal Dunno though, so curious how it would go...
