i think its weird how they have revealed almost every highlight for the last 2 episodes. the kiss in the rain, proposal, begging of the new gal's grandfather, confronting ah jin etc. i hope there's going to be more highlights we havent shown. its like we practically know the ending already so wat's there to expect?

i agree with what you said. but they only showed us glimpse of every part and not all the details. haha....so there is still something to look forward to.

Oh well, i guess most of us already know the storyline for iswak but don't u think every week seeing how joe and ariel act them out it's a diff feeling? like a kind of anticipation what silly things xq will do and how zs will react. and the sparks between them jus gives this sweet feeling. Both characters have rlly grown on me and i realise this is the first time i have watch anything that only the last 2nd epi the guy admits he likes the the girl but it's thrilling and more precious cos it was such a long wait (: and everything becomes worthwhile. For iswak2 most of us already know how the storyline will be but it's so much of anticipation. Jus imagine Joe n ariel's gonna act everything out. SWEET. I'm dying to see zs showing CLEARLY his love for xq in iswak2. (: and for me i too like the starting part whereby they're in sch the most. maybe cos it's more pure and innocent and the draggy part haven comes in. But draggy or not draggy at the back I STILL LOVE ISWAK (:

ZiYu finally gave up chasing after ZS in episode 18... this means XQ has one less love rival haha

don't really tink ZiYu like ZS that much since she gave up so easily and she does not really feel sad... not like XQ, for the past 5 years she only like ZS and can never seem to give up on him even though he shows no sign of liking her initially... really admire her patience...

I know everyone will probably clobber me (PLS DON'T!) but I just can't help it!! I was re-watching the first few episodes and there was this part where XQ's two best friends were talking about whether ZS got any girlfriends (this is the part where XQ got rebuffed when she tried giving her love letter epi 1 i think) and then they suddenly said that maybe ZS liked guys instead.... AIYO! I just couldn't help it! Immediately I thought about the Rose and the pic that was shown in this thread and I couldn't stop laughing!!!!

Anyway, I totally agree that XQ is the only one who has been able to melt that icy heart of ZS. Before, ZS is so cool and shuai... and nothing bothers him...even if people accuse him or anything, he can't be bothered to get angry because, to him it's a waste of time.

Then in epi 8, ZS realises that because of XQ he suddenly gets so angry all the time now. Which is GOOD because he's showing some sort of emotion when before he was just an ice king. (even though a very cute one!)

Hmmm.... which is probably why in the end he falls for her bah... cause... maybe, she's the only one that can make him feel alive.

So I guess even though we don't like it when ZS is so mean to XQ, we should still see it as part of their growth... cause even though they both didn't realise it, the fact that he can get worked up enough to get angry at her shows that he cares.

But I must give it to XQ. So damned patient... if any guy had said what ZS had said to me I would probably have kicked him in the 'you know where' and told him to shove it. lol. violence...

Anyway... I just can't wait for the last epi... GRrrrr why is it taking soooo long?? I want my last epiiiiiiiiiiiii...... but then again... once it comes... it'll be time to say to ISWAK...

well i mean i wouldnt say i dont like ie when ZY is mean to XQ. i mean i dont want him to be but if u think about it if he is nice to her its not the same. then all teh sweet things that he has done for her wouldnt be as sweet. yeah i like simple stories with no sad endings, and i enjoy this one alot cause the storyline is about love but it doesnt completely goes in to the mushy goshy stuff.

just watched epi 2.. its sooo good... hahahha they have some really funny parts.. which always keeps my mood up..

LOL i was totally thinking the same thing. after seeing scenes from the rose and re-watching the beginning episodes of ISWAK i found myself laughing in that first episode as well.

yea I just didn't liek how in the later episodes like in episode 18 where XQ is outside talking to the rich girl and then the rich girl's yeye is talking about how he likes XQ and ZS starts saying how she's stupid and whatnot. I just felt really bad for XQ. But, it's parts like the rain scene in episode 19 which make it all worth it. ahh two more weeks...

Hahaha....usually cool people likes to pretend his/her feeling . I think that's what happened to ZS . Do you notice when XQ get a can of soda for Ms. Bai, he's actually watching over XQ?
I think ZS himself feels sad but you know for the sake of his dad's company he sacrifices his feeling (which is stupid ).

ZS acts so different when it's just him and XQ and then him in front of other people. He always tends to put XQ down or talk bad about her when there's other people around. But when they're alone, he's so sweet and nice to XQ. No wonder XQ doesn't know that ZS likes her because no one can tell (of course, besides jiang mama and YS). I think everyone here is anxious to see ZS get some punishment. It's about time ZS gets jealous and be the desperate one.

Hmm..correct me if I'm wrong but I think in the manga I read Jiang Mama doesn't even know that ZS likes XQ while the grandpa knows about it from the beginning. Err...I'm not sure how is it in the movie though. If they put it in the series then we should be able to watch it on the next episode.

Later on in the episode, ZS realized that his dad's company is in financial problem. Then based on Apple's suggestion ( ), if ZS wants to date Ms. Bai (which is granddaughter one of the big company), then it is possible for ZS to save the company.

Since ZS is stupid enough in terms of love , he agrees with Apple's idea . Btw, to be honest with you I really want to smack Apple when I heard his suggestion

i have to speak up for ZY here manz. she dint give up because she dint really like him but because she still has her pride and dignity. she did mention it in episode 18 when she and XQ were talking in the office. in another previous episode when she found out ZS changed to the doctor course, XQ asked was she going to follow him too. but she said no because she has her own future to pursue and because of a guy change that, its not worth it.

though she's XQ's rival but i still admire this quality of hers. she did not just follow blindly. im not saying XQ is though k...

Actually... I guess I have to agree with you guys when you say that the kissing scenes in ISWAK is not as hot as those between rainie and mike... but if you think about it, the story line for ISWAK isn't supposed to HAVE hot kisses.

If you realise it, XQ's character is supposed to be really naive and kinda blur... so why would she even know about stuff like kissing well? Which is probably why in epi 5 she look so stunned! lol And as for Zhi Shu, well even though he's so cool and shuai, he doesn't really know anything about emotions and love and all that right? I mean he learns everything off XQ in that department. I think he didn't even plan to kiss XQ in episode 5. It was more on the spur of the moment frustration la at XQ's remark that she would find a million times nicer guy than him... lol

The second kiss was basically a fluke right? I mean XQ didn't intend to kiss him lol. I don't think she has that kind of initiative yet and I don't think she's THAT cong dong... ' and plus Zhi Shu was asleep right? I mean how could he respond to her kiss ( did she even kiss his lips?? I couldn't make it out) and make it a hot scene? Plus he's supposed to be annoyed with her right? He shouldn't be responding like that to a kiss... lol

I mean generally, DBY is different because in that, the lead guy is supposed to be this ruffian gangster looking person who's like seducing rainie... and plus rainie isn't like VERY innocent. So I guess it's no wonder their characters call for hot scene kisses...

Lol... but then, who knows. Maybe Joe really does kiss badly in real life too... lol .I hope not. Would be so disappointed.. hahhaha

I think between ISWAK and DBY, ISWAK is more of a sweet and innocent and pure feeling in terms of love. I mean, they met each other at 16 and have been together that way to university, so they can't possibly suddenly become passionate..

whereas DBY, they immediately started off in university.. so i guess in that kind of scenario, the characters in the show would presumably have some.. eh... past experiences. ... so it's quite natural that the kisses are more passionate. lol

Hehee, yesterday I finished the whole DBY. Its a decent show indeed, very entertaining. Right now I can't tell which I like better, since they're somewhat different. Either way, in both dramas, the main leads are really devoted to their love.
As for the kisses, I must agree with some of you here. Mike character in DBY looks like he has lots of experience, like one of the scene where he tells Rainie that he and his gang drove to the beach to pick up chicks ... Besides, in most kiss scenes , its Mike who lead Rainie into kissing, so she's just like following his lead
ZS and XQ kisses are more innocent, though i'm kind of dissappointing with the 2nd kiss, kinda off though. But the kiss in the rain must be super hot because its kind of forceful just like the just-has-erupted inner emotions in ZS
