um, I think Ariel is studying/majoring in Korean...I remember reading that somewhere. She also spoke Korean in Love Contract.

And Joe is definitely at the same school as Mike. I'm not sure if he is studying the same thing but if he is...they are studying hotel management...(I dunno why....wouldn't it make more sense to study acting...? hehehe)

i think this is a best idol drama ever the director came up wiht the cuople that can make anyone in the world jealous . the story is so cute and i think they chose the right manga
this drama is kinda lack realism but it fits teenagers and anyone who has a bit romantic
we already knew the ending of this film but we always waited fort he new epi every weekend the drama attrcted us like it has magic
when i first started this drama i thought thta it will be just like other idol drama ( bad acting , bore story ) but right after the first epi i am so addicted to this drama . i have folowing this drama since the first epi i watched them wihtout subs and hoped thta the subs wuold come out .
i think this drama is so popular because the story is interesting and hter is one once a week that just tried our nerves and when the epi ended we want more and more and have to wait. Joe and Ariel sure are the great coulpe i love Joe wiht the cute smile and the cute curly hair .he is sos tall and cute and adorable .he will attract ever female in this world ( for real) Ariel is pretty and her eyes just so lovely and cute , her smile can make any men melt she is not beautiful as other atresses but she is pretty in her own way and that mmakes her so special .

Joe showed us a cold hearted Zhi Zu but his real personallity is completely opposite with the character . he is an outgoing guys and wacky while the character is trying to be cold ,cool. he did not smile or laugh much .Joe made the Zhi Zu came to real life .He lived wiht the character .when we were watching Zhi Zu we almost forgot that he is Joe who is so wacky in real life 100 points for our Joe . Ariel has great acting .she is just like the real Xian Qin . her stupid expression , face ,the way she walks all make Xian Qin beign so cute and lovely . Ariel is so smart in real life and she is so mature with her age but when the drama aired there was nohting in Xian Qin that make us imagine about Ariel we can only see hte cute ,adorable , pity Xian Qin .
both of them have done the great jodb in this drama
i also like Ah Jin he is just like Xian Qin , love one sided , just because that he is not the main actor so the story did not forcus on the pain that he had . i think his pain is not less than Xian Qin but even worse because Xian Qin can live int he same roof wiht Zhi Zu while he can not . Ah JIn is so vute sometime he was annoying but think aboout Xian Qin hse was annoying too ( in the other way of it )

Although this was adapted from a manga, I still have to say that they did a very good job on it. Every character is just so lively and so much more than the manga....at least I think so.

Ever since watching ISWAK, it just felt like Joe is ZS and Ariel is XQ. Haha...but in fact their real personalities is the exact opposite of their characters. That only means one thing.....they did a terrific job portraying as the characters.

Yes, during the first couple of episodes. He was ZS' buddy... kinda weird that they don't keep in touch after high school, considering they're best friends. I don't remember if he attended the graduation ceremony, the last part i remember he was in was when ZS saw XQ working part-time in the noodle place.

i'm just waiting for ep 19 to come out now.. i'm kind of glad that its coming to an end.. sorry to say but i actually found it getting draggy .. it got kind of irritating too since the girl is crying a bit too much.. like almost every argument even if shes not involved in the argument.. she would start crying... but overall.. i enjoy this series alot.. i liked the beginning alot actually because there were some scenes that i actually laughed out loud.. and btw.. the music in this series is awesome! i love the songs!

As ISWAK is coming to an end, does anyone feel like they will be losing a good friend??? I've been looking forward to Sundays ever since ISWAK started, it's like I have someone or something to spend my Sundays with. But now thinking about how in another week or so, I will have nothing to look forward to just makes me sad.

In eps 19, ZS will finally give up and fall into XQ's arms...haha...that sounds funny, but true. And it's going to be funny to see ZS be the one that cares while in all those other times XQ has been the one to give and sacrific her time. I think XQ will be a very happily married wife because ZS no longer pretends that he doesn't like her. And it seems like ZS is the kind of person that will give his all to the one he loves.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I want to ISWAK to end, because i can't wait to see the happy ending, but at the same time i don't want it to end because it means there's nothing to look forward to every Sunday.. I know it sounds stupid but ISWAK has been the highlight of my week for these last *i-dont-even-remember-how-many* months ' I just hope that the waiting for ISWAK 2 won't be too long and devastating. Babiluxx, I agree with you... I think that this thread needs to be de-spammed again.. hehe... Things like "so-and so is really cute or Thanks!) - it's considered spam. And we're not supposed to quote a ton of photos.

Also, I would urge newbies to the thread to try & read the entire thread because a lot of people/fans posted a lot of interesting opinons and thoughts on ISWAK & its character that are worth taking the time to read. And if you have a question, chances are other people had the same question and already posted it previously.

Anyways, there are still major parts of the show that we haven't seen so I'm still quite excited like everyone else to see how the chemistry btw ZS & XQ turn out in the end. Personalities can't change overnight so I imagine that they will still be the same… but hopefully we will see a lot more smiles. As for ISWAK 2 - I haven't read much of the manga for that part yet, but as I guess as long as they stick to the manga storyline, I think it will be good. Just no incidents that lead to memory loss issues or really horrible "qing di" who bad stabs/lies & cheats… cause I feel like that would really take away from the "essense" that makes ISWAK really likeable.

Xiao Bai from Love Contract is in the picture cause he's in the series. He doesnt have a big role or nothing but he only appeared in the first few episodes when ZS & XQ were still in high school. His character (i think) is ZS's best friend.
And if you really paid attention you woulda seen that one of XQ's best friends was also in Love Contract, she played Xiao Xiao
