Anyways, there are still major parts of the show that we haven't seen so I'm still quite excited like everyone else to see how the chemistry btw ZS & XQ turn out in the end. Personalities can't change overnight so I imagine that they will still be the same… but hopefully we will see a lot more smiles. As for ISWAK 2 - I haven't read much of the manga for that part yet, but as I guess as long as they stick to the manga storyline, I think it will be good. Just no incidents that lead to memory loss issues or really horrible "qing di" who bad stabs/lies & cheats… cause I feel like that would really take away from the "essense" that makes ISWAK really likeable.
yes i totally agree with you!! i think dramas that has these stuff in it are too overrated, i mean if its like a few dramas then its ok but i think its just too dramatic which takes it away. ISWAK is more like a romanic commedy, very different from the other ones ive seen. The story is simple so are the characters, pretty easy to understand, but the acting is great and the storyline is very cute. I hope Part II is gonna be good.
I must say i think this is my favorite drama of all time. I must be honest at first i was not really intrested in this drama because i didnt really konw the actors and they werent as attractive ya konw? but then i started watching it and i began to like the actors more and more. Ariel and Joe really portray the characters so well. Good JOb!

To go OT a little, I've just watched episodes 6-12 of The Rose. My first reaction to Joe is that he's so very 'victorian' in that show, heh. It's that damn white robe. And he sort of overacted in it, I feel. It's a really, really odd show, but I like it. Was it a really big hit in Taiwan? It's also hysterical as well, because I feel there's no way anyone would like that male lead/character. Why is it that they insist on getting really wooden actors to play leads? It's the same for Tain Guo De Jia Yi. Meh.
And back on topic, I've read he manga at least 4 times now. Man. And I've watched a few clips on Joe yesterday, and sad to say, that scene *spoiler* of him in a wedding dress is not in XQ's dream. The director wanted something different so he got ZS wearing it. I think it's too out of character for him *spoiler*

i hope they will have a normal wedding, they will not exchange clothes cause ZS's character is a cool person so how come he will wear a wedding dress?? it will ruin my sincerity to ZS

I enjoy watching this drama from the beginning. But lately, last few episodes, seems a bit boring and drag a lot. HOpefully, the ending is good.

hmm..i think it's the actual wedding with both of them changing the clothes leh...a bit wasted lor.cos i was hoping to see zhishu wearing tux, i bet it will be very very shuai on him!!!!and xq will also be very pretty in wedding dress bah..

Yup. I will also prefer the wedding with them wearing proper attire..
i guess its because of the fact that ZS had habit of wearing skirt or something when he was a kid in the show. I'm not sure if it (the habit of wearing skirt) was in the original manga as I have not read the manga..
Moreover, they filmed that scene in the rain. So it doesn't look like quite a nice romantic kind of wedding scene.

i think the exchanging of clothes for the wedding is the real and actual wedding. but that's soooo disappointing...not romantic and sweet...was hoping to see a beautiful, nice 'oh so sweet' wedding though it is normal...plus i wanna see ZS in a suit! i love guys wearing suits...very hot!
oh well maybe the director will surprise us and is using this wedding preview to trick us so we'll truely be surprised when they have a nice normal wedding?
I think the director is brilliant to think of a unique scene for the Wedding. Though I wish for a romantic wedding but isn't this too cliche. Which serie has the main actor wearing a Wedding gown? Doesn't this make Iswak unique and interesting? I'm looking forward to that funny scene.

^ i agree with you! i think the wedding is acutally cute, i mean its different and i think im going to enjoy that, its not what they wear its the way that they act toward eachother which is romantic anywas so im totally fine with the crossdressing wedding thing its funny and romantic adds more spice on it.

indeed, ISWAK have many unique points....
most of the series, are guys who are always going after the female, while this is the opposite.
Maybe he lost a bet and had to wear the dress or he lost a tennis match to Jason and was forced to wear the dress. LMAO

However, if the series follow the manga closely, there is no ZS wearing a gown like that . OMG, that scene, though very funny, is just too out of tune here. Just my 2 cents though .

Did you guys watch Prince turned into a frog ? The second half of this series where the main lead forgot about the first lead, he treats her kinda cold, just like the way ZS treated XQ = apprears coldly but caring a lot for his love
If anyone hasn't watched it, can watch PTIAF after ISWAK over, very good show indeed

the thing about iswak is that the actors really do look like those in the manga=) in the manga, plump and short YS grew up cute too..and spoiler:

It would be interesting to see who would act as YS in ISWAK 2. I thought the director said he wanted everyone from the original cast to be in ISWAK 2. If so, then they would probably keep the current child actor that plays YS. But if they wait too long to start filming it, then the kid would probably be too big by then? How old is the kid anyway?

anyway i got a quesiton.. u know the b-day gift that xq make for zs.. is zs ever gonna tell xq that he got the gift. also, after xq went back to the apartment and found out that the gift was gone, she didnt; do anything about it and didnt; tell zs that she make it for for him.. stuff like that
how come the gift part never get an explaination?
u think zs gonna tell xq in upcoming conversation they have together or after they get marry?

I just finished watching eps 19 and I have to say this is the eps that we have all been waiting for. Everything that we ever wanted.....ZS telling XQ he loves her, ZS and XQ finally together.....
I also have to say that I cried a lot during this eps, the scenes between XQ and ZS was especially sad. AHHHHHHH...............I still can't believe ZS and XQ is finally together. This is sooooo unreal although it is real.

episode 19 is so so sweet! at 1st, its kinda weird to see zs being frank about his feelings towards xq & seeing him showing his feelings through actions, like hugging xq, or leaning onto her when she went to look for him in the office. guess its bcos zs had always been so cool & aloof.. but in this episode, he's so diff! finally they are together!
