the wedding was funny... but towards the end after they became husband and wife, the whole wedding became quite sweet... they really look so much in love with each other... i wanted to cry in joy... rewatched that part a few times...

the ending where they made fun of the MTVs that joe cheng acted in before, it was so funny... got the jewellery advert, the guitarist MTV and the leaf MTV haha... i tink its to benefit all those joe and ariel fans out there haha

so happy they finally got married... wanted to cry with joy again when i heard wat XQ said about their love story at the end of the show... it really summarises the whole show...

cant wait for ISWAK2... i cant wait to see ZS and XQ again... i cant wait to see their love story again...

sinple and pure love story is wat that makes ISWAK a success... sometimes life need not be too complicated... simple things are more easily appreciated...

Finally I just finish watching epi 20 last night so I was late to work .... I don't know what to said beside one word " Awesome" ... this series is really really awesome ... give me so much fun, happy, sad & cry when watching it .... It is simple & pure love that make it hard to forget ... all people in cast & director are seem very nice & emotional, they have so much fun when working with each other ... & because of this series so I get to know all of you in here ...everyone of you are so nice, so warm ...always help to sharing the stuff, things, news, give out direct download links & translation part ... Thanks a lot for everything you done & share guys ... I think I will miss ISWAK & all of you then ... ISWAK is always my favorite series for life time so JoeAriel are also be my favorite idols for the whole time in life ....

Epi 20 is really fun & touching with some emotional part ... especially in the restaurant when ZS came to apology to A Jin ... & the all the words that AJ tell ZS ... like tell him to take care really good of her, don't let her suffer etc ... & finally tell them to leave ...WoW that's really touching parts ..... AJ is really a nice guy, really man ...he so sweet ... I fell so sorry for him ....he so great

I love the last epi so much ... especially the wedding part ... hihihi it is really funny when I saw ZS in grown .... he so sweet ... & is so funny & cute when XQ said out loud that ZS is her beauty hihihi .... I found that most cute & sweet part in epi 20 that is when XQ ask ZS that he's not look happy then ZS tell her that is raining so hard but then he said to her that since she look so pretty in her wedding grown so that make him happy enough then he smile ...is so sweet ... the funny part is when they are pronounced to be husband & wife then XQ told ZS to through the flower then they both fell into the water then he hold her & kissed her & finally they both fell again she was like lie on him hihihiih so funny & sweet ...

I'm so happy for XQ finally her dreams is come true ... but I also sad because ISWAK is ending & I don't know what to look for when sunday came .... while the waiting time for ISWAK 2 to came out 2007 is such a long time of waiting

And finally I like to send my warm & thanks to all of you .... I hope we will keep this thread going on even though ISWAK 1 is end now ....

ISWAK is a great series. I like it more than I expected. I think that part with YS in the tux and he sees XQ in the wedding dress is so sweet. It is like YS finally see a little of what his brother sees in XQ. He suddenly is so nice to her and even try to help her with her veil. He even told her about the kiss at the hospital. FYI, XQ looks very pretty in the wedding dress. It is a good thing they did that scene and the bridal place because we at least get to see how she would have look in a wedding dress even though at the wedding she is wearing a tuxedo.



I do feel bad for Ah Jin but there was no way that he and XQ would be together. I do hope he gets someone in ISWAK 2. I have this feeling it might be his co-worker at the restaurant. We see the hints that she like Ah Jin but because he like XQ, he does not know. But she is the girl that caught the flowers when ZS toss them so I believe it means something.

I LOVE ISWAK!!!! this is my all-time favourite series of the year! I love the cast, love the plot, love the entire series! I can't wait for ISWAK2, and luckily for all of us, it's going to be 2007! let's all wait patiently for it!

i didn't want to watch the wedding at first, cos i wanted a perfect fairytale wedding for ZS and XQ, but after watching the actual wedding, i have to agree that it indeed is unforgettable! and i love all the sweet moments between them! from the surprise kiss at the company, to the little wedding video where he promised to love her more and more till they grow old together, to the actual weding when they both fell into the water! so sweet, romantic, and heartwarming!

I'm going to miss ZS and XQ so much, and my sundays are going to be boring now, with no more ISWAK to anticipate and wait for! i'm even starting to miss waiting for all the torrents and direct links that everyone posted!

Well, I personally am not sure if they will follow the manga storyline as closely in Part 2 as they did for ISWAK part 1. But I would think that they would try to since they had really great success by following the storyline in Part 1. There are more volumes to the manga that tell about XQ & ZS's life after marriage. They did thank the writer of the manga, I believe, at the end of the episode 20, so I'm figuring that they know that the manga storyline as written - is working.

No, they are not currently filming ISWAK part II. I think that filming will start in early 2007, I guess, since the 2 lead actors have a bunch of other dramas to film in 2006. Whenever everyone finishes their prior filming commitments...


I believe there is a tw version of the DVD out for episodes 1-8 as aired on tv in taiwan (there were discussions in the thread earlier if you read through this thread)… I think there were some minor adjustments/changes made to the DVD version that people mentioned. As for the VCD versions… I know that often they cut the episode #s shorter by minutes so it ends up being more episodes (in #) then is shown on tv. So that's where the difference in episode # comes from. So the 20 episode vcd version is most likely not the entire series. Just part of it. If that makes any sense at all...

poor Ah Jin , i felt so bad for him at the restaurant..he spent five years lovin XQ too and he did a lot for her....i kno he will find the right girl in ISWAK2....tat girl will bring him happiness and love him more than anythin ...

XQ was soo pretty in her wedding dress...it was also very sweet of YS to help XQ fix her veil and bein so kind to her...the DV part was funny...ZS was givin me the goosebumps wen he was sayin all those sweet things to XQ and saying tat he will only love her more and more...u call tat "yok ma" in chinese....hehe....

even tho i was kinda against the fact tat they were not goin to have an original wedding in the beginning, but the wedding turned out to be very good afterall....it was so hilarious ...i couldn't stop laughin seein the guys wearin a dress, especially ZS...lol....the wedding was also very touchin seein the parents watchin their own kids gettin married...

just wondering how did xq manage to balance the ring on the spoon like that!!! i cant figure out how the ring can sit on the spoon like that!! (eps 19 ah jins proposal) also what is going on with the camera in the two dinner scenes of zs/hl and aj/xq.....it is just floating everywhere.....i think the cameraman mustve got a little toooo excited about the scenes so was goin crazy!

in eps 20 when xq faints and jiang mama is still filming can you see she still has a smile on her face!.....arhhh so cute!!!

When I saw the flip flop I thought it is an upgrade from the wedding video where he was barefooted. I would love to see ISWAK 2 but I can wait till 2007 as long as the cast does not change. That is the one thing that really annoy me other than bad dubbing and it sometimes turn me off of a series. I guess I am fortunate that even though I am an ABC i can understand Mandarin and Cantonese even though I can't really read and write Chinese.

anyways..so how long did it take you guys to download ep20? cause its taking forever! first its like 6 hours...get back from school and it says 30 something hours im like "erfs?!" and now its 9...dudeee its taking forever and theres so little seeds *tears* i wanna watch the episode alreadyyy

It has been a while since i been here LOL and boy did this forum grow lol.... but i finally finished ISWAK. i found the direct DL last night around 12 lol and it only took me 45 min to dl but i was so sleepy so i went to sleep woke up at 5 am to watch it and re-watch all the cute sences again then went back to sleep LOL ... even tho i didnt understand one thing they said i styll loved it... ariel looked beautiful in the wedding dress... and joe is pretty hot himself...the ending was bitter sweet for me ....i was glad they were happy at the ending but i was kinda sad to say goodbye... it has been such a great drama to me... i guess i can wait till 2007...i will surley miss ISWAK... iono what i would do for 1 year ::sigh:: all i can do is wait.. lol

I just watched eps 20 again and wow....it's just as good as the first time i watch it. The wedding was sooooo cute. I especially like the part where they both fell into the water and then ZS kisses XQ, that was so sweet. It all seems so natural that they kiss and then hugged.

omigod,just watched episode 19 and 20 yesterday.i am very happy because obviously is an happy ending and feel sad because the showhas ended.though i didn't cry at the last episode(because unable to catch some of the dialogues)but still......there are tears in my eyes.moreover yesterday morning i sent myfren off to australia.so it was like an emotional day for me.too bad that i can't watch it live in taiwan.would it be fun if u watch it with everone?just feel that how to survive without the days of not watching ISWAK.haih need to wait till end of 2007 and now is just the beginning of 2006!what a long wait!just hope all the fans' interests will not wear off for waiting such a long time.hope that arielwill stay cute by then.hehe.ISWAK FOREVER!!!!!the casts have done such a good job.I LOVE ISWAK!!!!!!

ZS agreed to put on a dress because at the scene where XS kneeled on to apologise to Bai Dong Shi..she said that if by kneeling down, Bai Dong Shi forgives them & agrees to sign the contract..ZS has to do for her something.. So the something is her dressing up in suit & he dressing up in the gown on their wedding..
I think the person whom gave her the idea of dressing up like that is Yu Shu (ZS's brother).. because got one scene showing Yu Shu telling wat bad things will happen like the hun sha drops..

I m also longing for Er Zuo Ju Zhi Wen 2!!! Faster come! Hope Lin Yi Chen & Zheng Yuan Cheng still acting! & that the part 2 is as nice as the lst one! =D
