I saw episode 20 yesterday without the subtitles so I don't really have a clue what was said but it was still so cute ^-^ ! I can't wait to see ISWAK 2... 2007 is forever away tho... bleh... I heard the manga was never finished so I wonder what they'll do for the ending of it...

does anyone notice that when they felt into the water Joe was wearing flip flop? it is so funny maybe Ariel is so short for him so he did not want to wear anything like shoses because it make him taller or because the dress almost fits him ?????????/

I loved the ending where XQ was daydreaming.

If you notice that really weird scene where XQ's on the floor and ZS is blowing that leaf in her hand, it's an allusion to a music video that Joe did with Selina (of SHE) to a song called "Leaf [Ye Zhi]." In the video, there's that exact scene where the girl is on the floor, and her boyfriend (in the MV, he's a ghost) appears to her, and says the same thing that ZS says to XQ ("ni zai den wo ma? wo yi zhi do zai" or "are you waiting for me? i've always been here") and then blows the leaf...just like ZS did to XQ. okay, i'll stop. And haha...when I found out that ISWAK2 was supposed to be released in 2007, I was a bit disappointed, but then I remembered that we're already in 2006! I was in 2005 time for some reason, so I was like "two years...?!"

Wow wow wow wow wow. What a satisfying ending..predictable but satisfying. I'm really going to miss this series, tuning in every week. It's become a part of my routine but now it's over....*tears* I can't wait for Ariel's next drama!

I'm about to start watching this series and judging from all the pages of forum posts (now 97!) I am betting it will be a good one to watch. Too bad I didnt start earlier to join in on all the weekly discussions

joe is born for playing this role!! i was truly convinced that he's zhi shu!! love him.. love the character sooo much!! im gonna get my friends to watch this.

this was a satisfying drama. It was really weird that xs and zs didn't get together until the 19th episode though... but oh well, ariel is such a good actress. just watched this series for her . Hopefully she'll be in part 2 with joe again. that will def be nice to watch

If U had read the MANGA beforehand, I bet U wouldn't think it's weird that they only got together in EP 19. The director followed closely with the Manga. However, the long courtship between them made the drama delectable and sweet...

I just finish downloading ep 20 and can't wait till the sub comes out for it...It seems so interesting ...can't wait to see season two now

i watched the wedding scene so many times until i can memorise what ZS and XQ said to each other haha... its really a sweet wedding... everytime i watched it, i cant help but smile too... especially the part where they fall into the water... they look so natural and so in love with each other... can really feel their bliss... feel so happy for them...

I totally agree with you, Joe is perfect as ZS, couldn't find any fault in his acting. The casting for all the other main characters were also spot on.

Yes.....one factor that makes a series successful besides the plot is the casting. Everyone that was casted to play the characters was a perfect match. Especially Joe and Ariel....I can't think of anyone else that can play ZS and XQ. Well...maybe it's because we can't seen anyone else try that, but I still think Joe and Ariel is the best match.

Finally saw the last episode...so sweet....
It was a great way to end the drama....just enough to make pple cant wait for the sequel.

There were so many good scenes in the last episode. but my personal favorites was when ZS and XQ were sitting in front of the camera and talking...they seemed so natural...as if they really were the couple getting married....their chemistry really shoned through in this last episode. So cute and sweet. loved the kiss they shared too....just a peck but so right for them...

The wedding was so very sweet...I loved how they fell into the water and the kissing...so sweet...it was almost like they were not even acting, but it was for real. My favorite kiss, was when XQ pulls XS's head down to kiss him...so cute.

2007...seems like a long time to wait for the sequel. but i think it will be worth the wait. hopefully, the chemistry between the two will stay the same.....

well we will wait for the part2 by watching Tokyo Juliet of Ariel ^^ and other series of Brian lol

For those who've finished watching this series. Does this series worth to watch? Is the storyline really similar to original dorama? Since I've watched original dorama version "Itzura Na Kiss", think it is quite waste to re-watch it in Taiwanese version..

^ really worth watching.....has many similarities cos it follows manga very closely.

if u compare the two versions then maybe u wont like this as much cos ur expecting things to happen or used to the other version......Naoki is much less colder towards kotoko in taiwan version.

also depends on how much u like the lead roles...joe cheng and ariel lin.

hope this helps ..........u could just watch the first eps and see if u like it.

Yea, i totally think you shoudl watch it. though you saw the japanese version, the taiwanese one will always be different because the actors/actresses portray their character BETTER. There are so many potentially good stars in the taiwanese one that makes this a MUST SEE. Though the story is similar, i think this version is livlier.

haha...same here. ISWAK started airing after DBY and at first I thought it was just another copy cat of DBY and I even posted a message on this thread saying that they're similar. I was not planning to watch it because I like DBY too much and don't want to watch ISWAK because it's a copy. but I still downloaded to watch because I was bored. And I'm so glad I did. This has to be the best drama ever. You will totally fall in love with the characters ZS and XQ and of course Joe and Ariel too.

I’m like on ep12 and I love this series. One of the best series I watch. Joe and Ariel is very good at it even though sometimes it’s kind of crazy. And I always called her stupid in the drama because she does act very dum but I love it. I called her dum because she always follow him and he act so cold too her. I wish she can go find another man so he will know who he is missing. Lol Like he got jealous once when the senior dude and XQ was talking on the phone. Lol I love this series very much.

And I’m glad they are going to have Part 2. Hope it is good as part 1.

yeah...I understand what you mean by weird. but I actually think the way ZS acted was expected. Considering that he's sort of always in his own world and has never been exposed to people like XQ, and also that fact that he always gets what he wants and is the best at everything.

ZS is so confident that XQ likes him and he takes that for granted. And when XQ said she will find someone a million times better than him, he didn't know how to react. and it makes sense for him to kiss XQ at the moment because he couldn't believe she said that. About him sticking out his tongue afterward, I thought it was kinda cute. Haha...he obvious has no experience in dating and doesn't know what to do after you kisses someone. And all he could do was stick his tongue and leave. very cute....
